Chosen Core: Heracross + Tyrantrum by Euphonos

Decided to go with a simple p2/itemless bat core to fall back on, along with a forry to provide hazard support and some volt-turn with crobat to get the heavy hitters in. Since we were pounding the shit out of physical walls we decided to go with a physical cleaner - it was a choice between scarfmence and mega shark. We went with mega shark for its versatility - 3 choice mons on a team makes it fairly hard to play around at times especially when you are as bad as I am. We originally had spikes on forry to help wear shit down, but went with tspikes when it became obvious that we had to go with defog as hazard removal - the effect of tspikes lasts forever once they're down, and a lot of teams are hilariously under prepared for them.

Wow, the innovation of the teambuilders in this tier never ceases to amaze me.

First, we have DaSpoofy and Colbrushie with a remarkable Anticipation Toxicroak. It's perfect for scouting Extrasensory Roserade and avoiding the all too common Kebia Berry Psychic Florges lures.

Next, we have Nightingales and Patrick1088 with the most incredible custom Suicune spread ever seen. It has 403 HP to guarantee that Seismic Toss can always break its substitutes, while also running 0 speed EVs to ensure it moves last against opposing Suicune.

Also making a strong showing are newfren and daedalus1103 with their unparalleled method of checking Sub SD Cobalion. Simply bait out 3-4 Close Combats with Porygon2 and then use Acrobatics to OHKO through the sub. Pure genius.

Last but not least, we have Decision Makers and Lord of Bays. Realizing that their Banette and Braviary completely shut down scarfbat, they proceeded to add 4 members that would normally get wrecked by it. I'm still looking for the Mega Aero switchin, although I'm sure I'll find it if I look hard enough.

(PS: these teams are actually pretty great because my teams tend to have more holes than a continent of golf courses)

GG vs Nightingales
Turn 1: I wanted to get off the mega so Nightingales would hesitate going for hazards as ,y defogger is weak to rocks! Baton pass worked great and was my best play.
Turn 2: I had colbur berry and thanks to Colbrushie's funky ev spread i was able to kill the krook.
Turn 3: He predicted my switch to croak so he went to forry.
Turn 4: He predicted my absol switch or a switch to something else as i went for the sub. Getting that mega off first turn allowed for this turn to turn out so well.
Turn 6: I predicted a scald from the Suicune but he switched to forry which i found a very ballsy play.
Turn 7: He wanted toxic off which was a slow play on his part and in this late of the game he needed to be buying himself back through aggressive plays. I weaken forry making Toxicroak a win condition
Turn 9: He used memento with chandy rather than killing me off. At this point I won. Druddigon in the back and Toxicroak for suicune plus taunt bat. If he killed me off he may have pulled through with some crazy 50 50s with suicune roar and scald but he was on a downhill slope!

I like my team. It makes my opponent second guess the "best play" he should make. Toxicroak is really fun.

Wow, did we really just go back to 2006 with that? I'm home, will be on and warming up in a little while, gotta shower and stuff first.

EDIT: Unsurprisingly, DaSpoofy is nowhere to be found now that I'm in the UU room.

As it turns out, depression, booze, and horrible Pokemon are a mixture for disaster. GG to DaSpoofy.

EDIT: But seriously, fuck Banette.
