I went to car shows with my dad when I was a kid, and I’ve always wanted a classic car like an old timey Bugatti. Unfortunately they’re mad expensive in most cases, oh well.

Call me boring but I really don't aspire to own anything too much other than a Volvo 240 vehicle wise. It's everything you could ever need and want from a car, especially the estate version. Obviously If I ever had the money I would probably splash out on something a little more spicy and sporty, but for my needs a 240 would do just fine.

Personally, I see car ownership in two phases: one when you're single and one when you're married/with a partner. In the single phase, your car should be a mix of utility based on where you live and some level of class. When you're married, you most likely would have two cars. I'd use one for utility (some crossover or whatever) and one for appearance.

Thus, according to my philosophy, you're better off buying a used Lexus than a new Honda civic if you're single.
