If I had to guess I'd say the 143 comes from some number of mons in a pokedex somehow, maybe in a split pokedex (which they have done in the past).

it's nifty but it simply won't be viable. You're essentially getting +1 attack or sATK for one turn. It really should give the user 100% crit rate for a handful of turns.

There's a couple other uses, as crits also ignore your own lowered stats (like from spamming Draco Meteor or Leaf Storm for example).

Still hard to see the viability on a telegraphed attack, especially without an ability like Sniper, but we'll have wait until it comes out.

I think Laser focus is going to take up a necessary and needed slot on a pokemon, but if your team is really showing struggles vs like cro(sleep talk boosting pokemon)pokemon or bulky sub pokemon... this move seems to be your savior. I've come into so many situations where I've wished some move like this was possible(fuck lucky chant).
