I tried Drapion out for a bit thinking the same thing, but found him to actually be quite frail even with max HP and an Assault Vest. He's also outsped by all the massive threats and has no recovery so he died too easily. STAB Knock Off is cool but only really allows one strong hit against each mon, and Poison doesn't hit anything super-effectively except Granbull who intimidates you anyway so his damage output is kinda low. I honestly think his only niche is bopping a Minimizing Drifblim with Keen Eye + Knock Off, so if you're really scared of that then use him I guess lol.I'm surprised I'm not seeing more Drapion on Showdown. Is it generally outclassed by Scolipede? Scolipede is faster and slightly stronger, but I'm finding Drapion's better defensive bulk, STAB Knock Off useful, and lack of a Fire weakness useful.
What natures are people running on Hydreigon and Volcarona? I've been using max Speed/Sp. Attack Timid for both, since both are popular and winning the speed tie is important, but I'm starting to think that a bulkier Modest version (at least for Quiver Dance Volcarona) may be better.
I haven't been using Hydra myself, but I'm running Timid on Volcarona to get the jump on all non-scarf Hydra. I've wanted to try and fit Quiver Dance onto its moveset but I just can't. There's only been a couple battles where I've actually wished I had it though so I'm not too worried. I'm not sure a bulky spread would really benefit it though since everyone is packing random Rock-type moves just to bop it so I can't imagine it surviving too many things

Something I've been trying to make work is Weezing, Poison + Levitate is great defensively and Stockpile makes him even harder to take down. He's then able to WoW stuff and whittle things down with Sludge Bomb. Works great for crippling things like Scolipede and Crobat while your partner hides behind a Protect. He's a bit passive for Doubles and leads to a lot of double-targeting of its teammates so it can be dealt with later, but he usually puts in some solid work for me.
