Guys I figured it out. The end of the world already happened in the real 2012, but some really smart scientists managed to make a simulation of the world and started it up at the point in history when the world formed. This simulation has continued to this point in time undisturbed.
The Maya 'predicted' the end coming in 2012 because they somehow discovered the 'blueprints' of this simulation, which is also why they knew how to map all of the paths of the stars and the planets.

Sums up my thoughts, kinda disappointed noting happened. No mass suicides even.
Most that happened here was a really bad snowfall that got better throughout the day. This is the worst apocalypse ever.
Quantum immortality? I only have a rough understanding, but the only universe we are capable of experiencing is the one where the earth didn't explode into a billion pieces at December 21, 2012.
Getting back exam marks kinda makes me wish it really did end :P
Does anyone know if any stupid stuff happen? There has at least been something? Links to a story please?
