Madoka is a staple of weebdom, to the point of being and intersection between otaku culture and meme culture. The plot premise is teenage girls gaining magical powers by making contracts with a creature called Kyubey.

So if someone in a game where the scum are non-original characters comes to me asking to make a contract, you bet your ass I'm gonna assume it's Kyubey tryna roll me.
