I totally understand that you've got life, family, work, other RNG stuff to look at, but do you know of any way to "search frames" in the Researcher like we do in the Reporter? Since Kaphotics figured out how to advance IV frames by walking and moving mons into your party from your box, if we can find a good IV spread way down the frame list in the Researcher, we can hit it now. It's just a matter of manually looking through thousands upon thousands of frames in the researcher to find 6 that fit your needs. @_@

I have a question for you, I'm attempting to ID/SID abuse on a Korean HG (Rom, using Desmume), but I can't seem to find where the memory is stored for it. I looked at the one Kazo gave me, but that seems to be for the English version. I was wondering if you knew where it was by any chance?

Hey OD, is there a way to figure out a good breeding spread without trial and error by knowing the MAC address of your ds? Since the spreads are dependant on it, there should be a way to abuse it, right?

OmegaD, are 5th gen PIDs tied to it's abilities? Or is there a way for me to hit a different frame to get a pokemon with same IVs, nature and ability?

I know that this is definitely something that you're not going to be looking into anytime soon, seeing as you're stll trying to solve the 5th gen RNG, but it may not come to a complete waste when you do get around to it(if I can't manage to solve it myself, XD) for the Nidos and their DW ability Encourage, and Volbeat/Illumise becoming useful support pokemon with Michievous Heart as their DW ability.

Sorry to disturb you. I have a question about something very specific on RNG breeding. About determining the gender for either a Nidoran or Volbeat/Illumise. It is something that goes against normal gender ratios. even to the point that if RNG Reporter says that you will get a female(F/F/F/F) you can get the other gender.

Is there something special within the PID to determine the gender like for determining wurmple EVO or spinda's spots?

I've tried to to do research on the issue myself(the best that I can, XD) or at least experiment with results. you can look at my progress on this POST, and I also tried searching the forums to see if anyone solved this problem. No one else seems to know a solution to the problem at the moment either.

Hey, just curious about the RNG frame advancing: I'm at the Burned Tower next to Ho-oh on HG, so I can't do the Elm calls to figure out whether I reset correctly/advance the frame. I don't have the roamers out either, since I killed both of them (they're supposed to come back after you beat the Kanto Elite Four, right?). Is there something else I can do, or will I have to wait until after the elite four?

That's kind of my polite way of telling people that only have redistributables that I didn't see anything :P

Oh, just curious, was there any serious significance to :30 when you asked me to Start at that time? I'm calibrating my AR, trying to figure out what kind of difference it makes. Just wondered if that time was special for some reason, or arbitrary.

Craziest thing. Datel US was absolutely adamant that they were not going to release an update. But Datel UK had said in every email that they were working on it. Apparently, Datel US either didn't know what they were talking about, or didn't want to release that information for some reason. They released the necissary update for the ARDSi. I have an ARDS, but I'll probably pick up an ARDSi tomorrow (mine's crapping out anyway). If you do happen to write that code you were talking about sometime, please let me know.

Oh, also, I did a ton more SRs on that Date/Time you gave me. Tried some new stuff. I tried biking/walking/turning in place with a Repel on in that cave. Seems to me like they all advance your PID Frames by the same amount (doesn't matter if you B/W/T that is). But that they don't advance your IV Frames. I want to continue this, but I need a better timer than my DS Clock (possibly pikatimer) and more rare candies. I only have 1 @_@
