God CTC, could you build around Speks Gengar and Speks Ninja-Ass? Ass-Ninja u-turns on Fini and Tangrowth, and Gengar comes in to begin nuking stuff safely.
yeah, the ones i have played with suck.
I think you meant to put Flyinium Z on Staraptor, because Mirror Move is a flying type attack and I assume that's the only reason it is there.Yoooo, CTC! Last gen you had one of my all-time favorite teams. It consisted of Landorus, Rotom-W, Dragalgae amongst others and it was just an awesome team that I really enjoyed.
Anyways, I'd love to see what types of teams you'd potentially build around the following mons (obvs not on the same team necessarily):
Celesteela @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 84 HP / 252 SpA / 172 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Autotomize
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain
Necrozma @ Leftovers
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stored Power
- Iron Defense
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight
Turtonator @ Grassium Z
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shell Smash
- Flamethrower
- Dragon Pulse
- Solar Beam
Staraptor @ Normalium Z
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Double-Edge
- Mirror Move
Ooh, good point. I changed it to a Flyinium Z. I swapped out Double-Edge for Quick Attack too, so in this case I think Intimidate would be better for the set-up opportunity with Z-Mirror Move. Don't quote me on this, but I *think* you still get +2 even if the Mirror Move itself fails. Otherwise yes, with Double-Edge Reckless would be the superior ability.I think you meant to put Flyinium Z on Staraptor, because Mirror Move is a flying type attack and I assume that's the only reason it is there.
Also, since you have Double-Edge and Brave Bird, you really should be running Reckless over Intimidate, but I guess Intimidate also works to force a switch and Brave Bird, but then again forcing a switch doesn't work with Z-Mirror Move since the move will fail, so yeah use Reckless lol.
Yeah, Quick Attack over Double-Edge is good because Flying/Normal is literally the worst coverage in the game. The only two types that resist Normal (Rock and Steel) resist Flying, so no need for two moves that do recoil when Brave Bird is good enough, and plus it hits Ghosts. Close Combat already covers those two aforementioned types. Also, yes Z-Mirror Move gets +2 no matter what, but you miss out on the opportunity of having Reckless (which is basically an 'Aerilate' but for Brave Bird/Double-Edge) and Z-Mirror Move literally does the Z-move of the last move they used on you, so if lets say you read a Mimikyu's Shadow Claw and switch in Staraptor, you can totally surprise them with a Z-Never Ending Nightmare and still get +2Ooh, good point. Garchomp has no moves
Garchomp is so good it doesn't even NEED moves. It just forces its way through teams on sharky-intimidation alone.Garchomp has no moves
