- Allows you to trap attackers, force them into one move, and KO them with the respective attack
- Better against choiced attackers, since Encores nerf means you can’t set up as well on pokemon who choose not to attack
- The last moveslot can run tickle if you have a pursuite used, which easily dispatches of walls like Donphan, slowbro, and milotic.
- Safeguard lets you set up on pokemon who use status moves, but if you use encore → safeguard → switch you may not have any time to set up, so using safeguard first may be better

- EVs maximize Leftovers recovery and increase defenses evenly (with a slight physical bias).
- Nature should decrease attack stat to minimiz confusion damage
- Leftovers provides recovery, which is the one thing it lacks.

- Splash is rather useless
- charm is mostly outclassed by tickle
- Its too slow to make use of destiny bond.
