Pretty cool set I've been using, I'd say it's a hard counter if you manage to keep it healthy, rock climb barely 3HKO's and the spdef investment allows you to take 2 fire blasts after stealth rocks. Then you can proceed to set up free rocks or synthesis up. You don't even need to worry about crits since you have shell armor (or you can use overgrow, the ability doesn't matter when you look at this calcs)

With the amazing bulky stat in HP (103) and in defenses (both 126) is mega-audino able to eat up any at least 2 hits from Tauros and is just able to wish up and get it's health back more then Tauros is able to do in 1 turn to it. So with Mega-Audino you easily able to either wear down Tauros when it's not able to OHKO you from the health you have or Wish Protect stall it until you have enough health to wish and attack.

Specs Poliwrath can take any single attack from Tauros after Stealth Rock, can OHKO with Hydro Pump or Focus Blast, and can 2HKO with Vacuum Wave. This 2HKO can turn into a OHKO if Tauros takes some prior damage from hazards, using Earthquake, or other chip damage like Rocky Helmet users or Hail. Either way, Poliwrath can come in after Tauros gets a kill and threaten heavy damage with Vacuum Wave. (I learned this the hard way when testing Tauros :p)

So Musharna walls and can easily set up on Tauros. It starts off taking a little less than half, but by then Musharna has a Barrier up, and then it Moonlights and Tauros is screwed.

It's not ranked but it's a super reliable answer to this Tauros set. Levitate give it a ground immunity so Tauros can only hit you with a weak Rock Climb/Zen. Solrock can initially cripple it with Will-O-Wisp and has the opportunity to set hazards if it really wants. Morning sun helps too so you'll never be worn down.

Combusken is a counter

Combusken has no problem switching into anything Cacturne has to throw at it, and it can OHKO in return with Flare Blitz. Since Cacturne isn't likely to stay in, Combusken can also use Cacturne as setup fodder to get up a Swords Dance.

Cradily can hit Cacturne with Toxic and just stall it out with Recover as Dark Pulse is a guaranteed 4HKO from 100% health, and if Cacturne tries to spam Spikes, Cradily can either setup Rocks itself or just go for a 2HKO with Rock Slide (considering Cacturne has probably taken some LO recoil or hazard damage).

So, this spread allows Mr.Chan to take a giga drain a bit better. Mr.Chan can out prioritize the sucker punch with mach punch to avoid the sucker punch + giga drain + stealth rocks knock out (would need a max roll). If Hitmon is at 100% health though when it comes in with no hazard damage or prior damage, then it can drain punch. Ice punch also knocks out Cacturne. You could even go a spin + drain punch or spin + mach punch depending on the situation. Hitmon Chan is obviously coming in safely on a dark pulse.

Mantine has become really solid in this meta because of how well it handles Steelix, fire types not named Magmortar and waters types such as Samurott! Water Absorb deters Samurott from clicking hydro almost all game which is very nice. On top of that, ice beam does poor damage and Mantine can toxic protect or air slash away to beat it 1 on 1. The speed on Mantine is for jolly Rhydon oo

seed can easily switch into samurott, whittle it down with koff+leech seed, cripple it with thunder wave, and use samu as spikes fodder.

Articuno as soft-check

(why is articuno's sprite so fat)

Articuno can switch on any move without being rk by Aqua Jet and just bop Samurott with Freeze-dry. Even if he want to switch, you can just roost or click on hurricane, nothing like to take an hurricane from this cute bird. Take care, if Samurott is in Torrent's range, Articuno can't come on an Hydro pump

Weezing is a hard check to LO mixed Sceptile. Being immune to EQ, resistant to Leaf Storm and Focus Blast, and being hit for like baby food from HP Ice is huge for Weezing, and it can 2HKO Sceptile nicely with Sludge Bomb. However, LO Leaf Storm still does a nice chunk to this EV spread of Weezing, so watch out! But overall, Weezing is a great answer to Sceptile.

Jynx can actually take a hit from this sceptile set not too badly considering the fact that Jynx is frail as paper.

Aside from that though, it's really only coming in safely on a HP ice. Ice beam obviously OHKOs but, psyshock does have a chance to knock sceptile out after some hazards:
