Hello, I've been planning to do this for a couple weeks and now that I've figured out the details, it's time to begin.
Rules:
- Standard Clauses for each tier.
- Games will be best of three.
- The tiers will be BW UU (Snow Warning and Chandelure are banned) and standard XY UU (retests are not allowed, and Pokemon voted UU will be allowed starting the day after the result is announced).
- If both players agree, game 3 can be played in DPP UU. Otherwise, you must agree to one of the above tiers or coinflip for it.
I will separate the 24 players into six groups of 4. Each one of these groups will face off WCOP-style, but in best of threes. The winner of each group will advance to playoffs. If two players tie, the winner of their match will be declared the winner of the group.
Playoffs will either be swiss-style or bracket-style, to be decided.
