While toxicroak is generally considered outclassed in ou it actually works very well with infernape.Infernape's counters are starmie,latias,tentacruel and to an extent vaporeon. Starmie,latias,vaporeon and tentacruel will probably use surf as infernape is a fire type and then you can switch in toxicroak and sucker punch latias and starmie, should it be vaporeon or tentacruel you thunderpunch. In return infernape takes will o wisp shot at toxicroak to cripple it and weaker fire attacks and while the duo are weak to psychic, ground and flying the only really common one is ground which can be easily patched by the rest of your team.Infernape also deals with toxicroak ou counters which would be steels not weak to fighting; skarmory,jirachi,etc. Brick break or cross chop is for good fighting stab however gunk shot or poison jab are completely filler (poison is awful attacking type in ou) so feel free to run another attack like stone edge, ice punch , etc.Anyway once the annoying latias starmie or whatever is gone infernape will often burn throught the opponents team with nasty plot fire blast and close combat.
