Pet Mod To The Gigantamax! V2 (Slate 19: Anything Goes - Voting Phase)

:ss/vikavolt:
Pokemon: Vikavolt
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Electric/Bug
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Battery
G-Max Move Type: Electric
G-Max Move Description: If the opponent is faster, swaps speed stats with the opponent. Otherwise, has the effect of Charge.
Competitive Overview: Vikavolt has the highest SpA of any non-legendary pokemon, tied with Chandelure and Cursola at 145. However, all three of these pokemon suffer the same flaw: Their too slow. This is brutal to Vikavolt, whose dex entries say its fast... And then make it slower than its pre-evolutions. This solves that problem, while also boosting Electric moves.

was planning on resubbing vikavolt. whatever.

resubbing him instead:

:ss/reuniclus:
Pokemon: Reuniclus
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Psychic
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Mind Shatter
G-Max Move Type: Psychic
G-Max Move Description: Sets up Psychic Terrain before the move hits. Super effective against Dark and Steel types.
Competitive Overview: Basically... click the Mind Shatter button and have things die. Reuni's dex entry says that "this Pokémon prefers to swing its powerful arms around to beat opponents into submission." and "They can crush boulders psychically." Psychic has always been a poor type, especially offensively, so this G-Max move remedies that a lot and the only things that resists it are fellow Psychic-types. Problem is, its still slow as molasses, but I can see a set of CM/TR/Psyshock/Shadow Ball working: Set up one or both of CM or TR, Gmax, kill.

Gigantamax Scolipede
ss:/:scolipede

Type of the Gigantamax: Bug Poison
GMAX move name: GMAX
Infestipede
GMAX move type: BUG
Description: Scolipede wraps its body around the target, infesting them (infestatio). If the move is not very effective, the target’s speed and defense decrease by 1.

Competitive overview: On a frail pokemon like this, usually this sort of move is usless. But if you give this a focus sash and ko the opponent with a neutral/ super effective move or (the better idea) lower their speed/defense or do chip damage to eventually switch in a pokemon to revenge kill. Very good with moxie pokemon.-

*thank you yoshiblaze*

Pokemon: Shiftry
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Grass Dark
G-Max Move Name: Gmax Leaffan (leaf+fan)
G-Max Move Type: Grass
G-Max Move Description: Shiftry Flaps its Hands up and down, releasing a current of leafs that swallow the opponent in a twister full of leaves . If the opponent is lighter than Shiftry (in its non gmax form), tailwind is summoned
Competitive Overview: Its tailwind... but in all seriousness in the list of ou it effects: Hawlucha, All the tapus, and dragapult. Not much, but this is ou (Also if you bait one of those into activating your weakness policy especially hawlucha and the tapus and then setting up tailwind, they have got a storm coming [no pun intended]).

Hello, welcome to To The Gigantamax! Unfortunately, Scolipede already has a GMax form from slate 2, so it cannot be subbed again. You can see the legal Pokemon for this slate below
Any prevolutions that are a part of a 3-stage line are also legal (unless stated otherwise) even if their evolution isn't

Ability: Light Power

:raichu:
Pokemon: Raichu
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Electric
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Power Outage
G-Max Move Type: Electric
G-Max Move Description: Inflict Paralysis (on only the target) if the target have increased stat stages. Remove their positive stat stages afterward.
Competitive Overview: Give a way for Raichu to punish set-ups and counter opposing Dynamax Pokémon, as otherwise Raichu isn’t a known Dynamax user due to its frail defenses. It is also a way to bypass the annoying Cosmic Power sets as well!

:raichu-alola:
Pokemon: Alolan Raichu
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Psychic
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Psy-Surf
G-Max Move Type: Psychic
G-Max Move Description: Inflict -1 Defense and Special Defense on the foes if the user have negative stat stages. Remove the user’s negative stat stages afterward.
Competitive Overview: Punishes opposing Dynamax and Intimidate opponents by softening them, allowing Alolan Raichu or its ally to finish them off shortly after. Defense decreasing on both side is devastating on a Dynamax Pokémon due to potentially undermining their massive bulk!

Hereis a resub from one of the earlier slates as well.
:mr-rime:
Pokémon: Mr. Rime
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ice / Psychic
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Tapping
G-Max Move Type: Ice
G-Max Move Description: Summon a Rime Terrain for five turns, or eight turns if the user is holding a Terrain Extender.
Rime Terrain: Boost Ice-type moves by 30%. Any Pokémon with a Fire-type, Steel-type, Rock-type or Fighting-type will have 1/8th of maximum HP lost at the end of each turn (damage does not stack if both types hit Ice super effectively), however Ice-type Pokémon are immune to it even with having four of the previously mentioned types. Unlike regular Terrains, this terrain cannot be replaced by other Terrains, but can be removed by Defog.
Competitive Overview: Let's admit it; Hail sucks as a weather as it is. So here is an alternative, the new Rime Terrain! 1/8th HP damage is very heavy for either side, but only on Pokémon with a specific type strong against Ice-type, so as long as you hold your Fire / Fighting / Steel / Rock, this is not a problem for your team. In short, this allows Mr. Rime to gain near full control on Terrain, which will cripple even Tapu Fini and Rillaboom due to losing access of their perks heavily involving their respective terrain. It also allows Mr. Rime to not worry about surppressing its own special Terrain with Max Mindstorm to not screw up its own allies' prioirty moves, at the cost of being unable to boost its own Psychic-type moves.

:sm/walrein:
Pokemon: Walrein
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ice/Water
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Chill Out
G-Max Move Type: Water
G-Max Move Description: Lowers the opponent(s)'s Speed by 1 and heals the user's side by 25% of their max HP
Competitive Overview: Meant to capitalize on Walrein's deceptively decent Speed tier, good power and bulk with okay coverage by giving it a much appreciated powerful form of Speed control, a STAB Max Move that won't overwrite Hail for Walrein's Ice Body, and gives it aton of longevity with the 12.5% healing while Maxed plus the 3% from Ice Body

:sm/krookodile:
Pokemon: Krookodile
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ground/Dark
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Sinister Shade
G-Max Move Type: Dark
G-Max Move Description: Lowers the opponent(s)'s Attack and Defense by 1
Competitive Overview: Very basic effect, but this gives Krook a niche over the other Intimidate-using support Dark-type in Incineroar (and Scrafty) and the more offensive Intimidate offensive Ground-type Lando-T by allowing Krook to act as both a threatening breaker and a support option

:sm/klinklang:
Pokemon: Klinklang
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Steel/Electric
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Efficient Energy
G-Max Move Type: Electric
G-Max Move Description: Applies the Magnet Rise effect to the user's side and boosts the user's Special Defense by 1 stage
Competitive Overview: Klinklang's plan is basically to just Shift Gear on a free opportunity, Dynamax and use G-Max Efficient Energy, thus making it only weak to Fire and Fighting while having a Special Defense boost, and then using either one of its STABs to net more defense boosts, before sweeping at the end with boosts to its Attack, Defense, Special Defense, AND Speed, if all goes well

:sm/politoed:
Pokemon: Politoed
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Water/Normal
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Mud Bubble
G-Max Move Type: Water
G-Max Move Description: Boosts the user's Special Attack by 1 stage and sets a hazard that acts like Spikes, but Water-types are immune to it instead of Flying
Competitive Overview: Gives it a niche as a Rain Dynamaxer over the likes of Kingdra and Pelipper by using its boosts and hazard setting to provide for the team in the long term while also allowing you to put for offensive pressure on the opponent with this Dynamaxed and a Swift Swim user out on the field

Slate 19 is now open! While we usually do Free-for-All slates on multiples of 5, since this is the first slate in 4 months, it's probably best to let you do whatever for this slate

Thus, any Pokémon that doesn't already have a GMax form (and is in the Galar Dex) can be subbed

Submissions will end in about 5 days

Unfortunately, Decidueye already has a GMax form (got one in Slate 5) so I'll have to ask you to remove this sub. You can see what mons have already received GMax forms here.

---

In other news, this extra long slate will end in the next couple of days and then after that, we'll have Slate 20, which will be another Anything Goes slate and will very likely be the very last slate of To The Gigantamax. It's been a very up and down road for this mod, but it's overall been really fun to run, so let's end it off right!
