Taking suggestions on a new country to move to

Make your pitch! The US of A might just be over and I need a plan B
If you have good tertiary qualifications and are willing to go through visa rigmarole as a US citizen a lot of places are surprisingly open to you. If you wanna keep speaking English the obvious places are Australia/NZ/Canada/Ireland etc but these places are all well known for being somewhat difficult and costly to immigrate to. Depending on how much cultural difference you're willing to tolerate Singapore could be good as well so long as you're not gay.

If you're fine with learning a new language pretty much all of West Europe opens up to you. Many of those countries actually handing out visas more freely than Anglo countries.

You could always go the Aus uni BA failure route and go teach English in an Asian country and try to make enough connections to stay there indefinitely

come to turkey, our politics oscillates between fascist authoritarian populists (you'll feel right at home after trump!) and fascist authoritarian military juntas every ~20 years, but with amazing food, decent healthcare and public transportation and a pleasant climate (as long as you stick to the coasts, which you should)

also you'll live like a king if you earn USD or have decent savings

Alternatively just stop watching the news and looking at peoples Instagram stories

huge quality of life improvement
IMO, news and social media make us sad.
Watch (or read) a minimal amount of news.
Avoid or deactivate temporarily your social media. I’ve been doing that for months and it’s working.
