OU Substitute Mawile (OU) (QC 1/1) (GP 1/1)

Mawile-Mega @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 144 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch
- Focus Punch

With balance teams becoming very common, Substitute Mega Mawile has been seeing high usage in the Official Ladder Tournament VI playoffs and Smogon Snake Draft thanks to its ability to easily set up Substitute on passive Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn as well as on forced switches. With the protection from Substitute, Mega Mawile becomes much harder for these bulkier teams to deal with and can proceed to break them down easily with its near-perfect coverage that hits popular balance staples like Heatran, Mega Latias, Gliscor, and Skarmory as it comes in. This set makes a good partner for Pokemon that appreciate Pokemon like Heatran, Toxapex, and Gliscor being removed, such as Tornadus-T and Clefable. Due to the fact Mega Mawile can break through bulky teams so well, sweepers like Ash-Greninja and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele make for good partners as well, with Ash-Greninja even bringing entry hazard support in the form of Spikes to make switching into Mega Mawile even harder.

That 1st sentence is a major run-on. Please break it up into multiple sentences as you see fit.

With balance teams becoming very common, Substitute Mawile has been seeing high usage in Official Ladder Tournament VI playoffs and Snake Draft thanks to its ability to easily set up Substitute on passive Pokemon commonly found on balance remove the balance mention b/c you're implying that you're only getting a sub up vs balance and therefore balance is really the only playstyle that runs passive mons which is obviously wrong like Toxapex and Ferrothorn as well as on forced switches. With the protection from Substitute, I mean sub isn't the sole reason that maw goes in vs these fatter mons, which is def what you're implying here, would rather you state that it becomes harder to deal with Mawile can proceed to break down these bulky teams with its near-perfect coverage that hits popular balance staples like Gliscor, Skarmory, Mega Latias, and Heatran reorder this by viability; I really don't want you implying that skarm is better / more commonly used that both lati and tran when it's still shit as it comes in or if Mawile is already behind a Substitute. If you want to say that it eases predictions etc. then say it like that b/c the way you've written it now doesn't make sense; "sub's protection allows it to go in vs bulkier teams and their pivots on the switch or if it's already behind a sub." This set makes a good partner for Pokemon that appreciate Pokemon like Gliscor, Toxapex, and Heatran order by vr, makes shit consistent being removed, like Tornadus-T and Clefable. Due to the fact this Mawile set can break through bulky teams so well, sweepers like Ash Greninja and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele make good partners as well, with Ash Greninja setting up Spikes to make switching into Mawile even harder.
