Galvantula @ Focus Sash
Name: Sticky Web (Electric)
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz / Thunder Wave
- Energy Ball
- Sticky Web

With its high base speed, Galvantula is an excellent lead due to it being the only consistent Sticky Web setter on Electric. Thunder, combined with the accuracy boost from Compound Eyes, is Galvantula's strongest move, which hits Water-types such as Toxapex and deters Flying-type Defoggers such as Corviknight. Bug Buzz is used to hit Pokemon that resist Thunder like Hydreigon and Latios while Thunder Wave allows Galvantula to cripple faster threats such as Chien-Pao and Flutter Mane. Energy Ball gives Galvantula coverage against Ground-types such as Quagsire and Great Tusk, Great Tusk in particular being another Pokemon that can remove Sticky Web. Focus Sash gives Galvantula a guaranteed Sticky Web, attack, or a chance to paralyze.

Pokemon who can take advantage of Sticky Web are great teammates for Galvantula. Rotom-W and Zapdos both benefit from Sticky Web, as they can outspeed threats such as Iron Valiant and the Ogerpon formes at -1, while also providing a Ground immunity. Raging Bolt especially benefits from Sticky Web, as its underwhelming Speed tier holds it back, and it appreciates the speed drop from Sticky Web so it can set up and wallbreak easier. Sandy Shocks pairs well with Galvantula, forming a hazard-stack core combining Sticky Web with Sandy Shock’s Stealth Rock and Spikes. Regieleki provides hazard removal for Electric teams with Rapid Spin and provides pivoting with Volt Switch so wallbreakers like the aforementined Raging Bolt can come in repeatedly. Although Iron Hands doesn't really benefit from Sticky Web, Iron Hands is still a great teammate due to its high bulk and can take out threats that wall Galvantula, such as Tyranitar, Hisuian Goodra, and Blissey. In return, Galvantula takes out Quagsire and Great Tusk for the team.

Other Options
…………………………..
Volt Switch can be used instead of Energy Ball to provide a pivoting move after setting up Sticky Web, but the loss of Energy Ball means that Galvantula can't hit Ground-types, especially Great Tusk.

With its high base speed, Galvantula is an excellent lead due to it being the only viable i would reword this to say consistent as opposed to viable Sticky Webs setter on Electric. Thunder, combined with the accuracy boost from Compound Eyes, is Galvantula's strongest move, which hits Water-types such as Toxapex and deters Flying-type Defoggers such as Corviknight. Bug Buzz is used to hit Pokemon that resist Thunder, like Ting-Lu, Hydreigon, and Latios while Thunder Wave allows Galvantula to cripple faster threats such as Chien-Pao and Flutter Mane. Energy Ball gives Galvantula coverage against Ground-types such as Quagsire and Great Tusk, Great Tusk in particular being another Pokemon that can remove Sticky Web. Focus Sash gives Galvantula a guaranteed Sticky Web, attack, or chance to paralyze.

Pokemon who can take advantage of Sticky Web are great teammates for Galvantula. Raging Bolt and Iron Hands benefit from Sticky Web, as their underwhelming Speed tier holds them back, and they appreciate the speed drop from Sticky Webs so they can set up and wallbreak easier also mention that they form a wallbreaking core together, bolt takes care of physical walls that iron hands does not like (like quag) and iron hands can take out special walls that bolt does not like (like clodsire) cuz ur writing about a webs team so the teammates section should expand more on the team as a cohesive unit rather than how theyre only benefitting from webs cuz thats kind of a given otherwise you wouldnt use webs to begin with. Rotom-W and Zapdos both benefit from Sticky Webs, as they can outspeed threats such as Iron Valiant and the Ogerpon formes at -1, while also providing a Ground immunity. Sandy Shocks pairs well with Galvantula, forming a hazard-stack core combining Sticky Web with Sandy Shock’s Stealth Rock and Spikes. Regieleki provides hazard removal for Electric teams with Rapid Spin and provides pivoting with Volt Switch so Galvantula i wouldnt mention galvantula cuz like ur not really going to be bringing it in repeatedly, you want to set webs or make progress turn one with galv and pray it does its job, just reword this to say like provides pivoting to other electric type wallbreakers such as the aforementioned iron hands and raging volt or something you dont need to use those two mons in particular but just an example and its teammates can come in repeatedly.

Other Options

i yapped a lot so after these are implemented ill check again just to make sure i didnt accidentally make things too convoluted, but otherwise i would 1/2 this looks great!

I honestly would just reorganize this second paragraph. Keep the intro sentence but change around the teammates. Rotom-W, Zapdos, Raging bolt, sandy shocks, then regieleki and iron hands. reason i say this is iron hand is not really ever benefiting from sticky webs it is still super slow. however Iron hands is still a great teammate to have on the team: Its bulk + it can take out threats/mons that wall galvantula like Tyranitar, Hisuian Goodra, and Blissey. Overall I also want you to talk about what threats they take out thanks to the sticky web speed drop like how you provided examples with rotom-w/zapdos. For Iron hands sentence you can start off like: Although Iron Hands doesn't really benefit from Sticky Web, Iron Hands is still a great teammate.....
