Well I've seen quite a couple of art threads already so I figured I would post my own. The thread will consist of Signatures/Tags I've made and some drawings towards the end. I figured I would be more convenient to put everything in one thread. The Signatures were created using GIMP. A free graphics editor much like Photoshop, but a bit less sophisticated. Anyways Here they are:
[I'm currently not taking requests! Sorry for the inconvenience.]
Older works:
[This consisted of my first assisted signature. It depicts Dark Magician Girl from the Yu gi oh series.]
[This one was created following a very popular tutorial. Not sure If you've seen them floating around. Still it was a fairly early one and noticeable at that.]
[Zero from the Megaman series. Whats not to like. Although looking back, I did spam this ugly border in some of my other works.]
[I loved the render for this one. Had to put it to good use. I think it came out quite nicely. Although the text is a bit lacking.]
[I tried Implementing a greyschale for this tag. I Like the effects used even if the focal was a bit oversharpened.]
[Similar effects to the previous, however, I was a bit apprehensive about this one. Only for the mere fact that it included two focals in Weavile and Gallade. It was a request though so I had to make it work.]
[One of my first sprite signatures. The background was terrible, but I was able to salvage it using some smudging techniques. Learning from mistakes it the best part I guess.]
[This was a birthday gift for a friend. Can you guess her favorite pokemon?]
[Another sprite signature. While it is a bit bright, I like the use of colors in this one. Maybe it was a poor execution of the concept I had.]
Later works:
[If anyone is familiar with the Brawl Sig Code Generator, than this one may be a bit familiar. I submitted it for Daniel to use in the database. This one is one of my favs.]
[I believe this one is also in the database, but I don't really like it much myself. *shrugs]
[Kamina from the popular TTGL series. I think it could use more.]
[Gym Class Heroes Tag. Trying my hand at some pentooling. I still need to practice with it.]
[I entered this one in a SOTW. The theme was vectors. I didn't win, but I liked the outcome on this one.]
[Nia from the popular TTGL series. It was simple, but concise. I'm still trying to work on generating proper flow. The clipping masks are seemingly random.]
[Practicing some more clipping masks. Maybe I got carried away.]
[Sylar from HEROES. Another Gryeschale. I needed it to match my avatar at one point.]
Recent Works:
[I really like this one and is one of my favorites. The character used is Caren Ortensia.]
[One of my most recent sprite signatures. I was trying to emulate one of Kamingir's signatures from Planet Renders. It came out decent I think.]
[Ikki Tousen signature. Fairly simple steps. I was just bored. Although I think the character may be a bit too big for the tag itself.]
[Canti from the popular FL CL anime. I like the background. The render could have been sharpended up a bit imo. All in all I like it.]
[Dizzy from Guilty Gear game series. Also one of my favorites.]
I'll be sure to post some more updated Tags in the future. I'm working on some new ones and I have some stored I haven't put up yet. Comments are appreciated.
