Playoffs Smogon Classic IV - Playoffs [No Winner]

Tentatively playing googly Friday at 10:30 PM GMT -4 / Saturday 2:30 PM GMT +12
i feel like you should extend the deadline for a week. it's gonna slightly delay the tournament (not notably considering there's always extensions anyway) but it has a few upsides. some of these players have been playing high level tournament series (up to 6 bo3s for official tournaments in 1 week for those who made it far in ost) for months now without a real break. some ppl who made it to finals of the individual cups haven't had any break at all. this whole thing is pretty exhausting if you put the slightest bit of effort in it. on top of that the first seed has to wait for the winner of the tiebreaker series, which is scheduled for thursday (afaik) and he then effectively has 2-3 days preparation for his opponent and gets punished for being first seed. if you give him an extension you'll simply be stacking extensions. might as well just make round 1 one week longer imo.

this dpp game leaves me perplex, im honestly pissed i lost because i didn't cover the blissey->rotom switch at the end with an ice fang that would have won, but that play made no sense in my mind idk

there's a lot of excuses i'd like to make about why this was the result but the long and short of it is that i didn't have my a game for the first two games and it was just too deep of a hole that i put myself in to climb out of
frustrating way to end this classic run, definitely had more to give and maybe if a couple toxics land it swings a bit different but them's the breaks, everyone who made it this fat deserves their spot and you can't give up freebies and expect to move on
thanks to ppl who helped with teams, shout in particular to lavos for the persistent sound boarding, i really appreciate it
see y'all in december. or possibly tomorrow if i get subbed into wcop idk

wanted to thank sharks for team supply; elodin/bro kappa/bluri for bw help, marrano for dpp help, mdragon elodin nacl zeno for adv help, bomber for gsc and marcoasd for rby. i had fun playing the various cups, i wish i could have ended this tournament a bit better, but apparently i was not in the right mood to play, gl in future rounds and to everybody else left in this tournament.
