Other Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder: V2

Saw a replay of someone using specially offensive Scizor, with Swords dance but no physical move to take advantage of it, he was also using sub-punch Gengar and a few others I'm glad I forgot lol.

Random Shit volume 86: Edition Edition
-Some guy complaining about speed creeping. He then called his opponent bad while he was losing, and eventually forfeited after a Wish pass.
-Sucker Punch+Foul Play M-Banette.
-Dark Pulse Gengar on the same team.
-Shedinja on the same team, with no sign of hazard control anywhere.
-Eject Button Aegislash on the same team.
-And last but not least, Bright Powder Froslass on the same team, using Shadow Ball on Meloetta.
-Why haven't people figured out that Dedenne is not a good Pokemon in OU? Especially when it uses Aerial Ace. On Eelektross, of all things.
-Speaking of Eelektross, I saw one with Acrobatics. Pretty sure it had an item. Yeah, Lefties.
-Giga Drain Ferrothorn.
-More Torrent Greninja crap. This one suicided into Ferrothorn with Shadow Sneak.
-Dazzling Gleam normal Gardevoir. Also, normal Gardevoir in general.
-Bravest Birds, guest starring Swanna and Shadow Sneak against Braviary: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110467113
-Using Drain Punch against a mono Ghost team.
-Bastiodon is one thing. Bastiodon with good offensive moves is another. But Bastiodon using Heavy Slam on Curselax?
-Rain Dance Deoxys-S. With Politoed. Actually, it kinda makes sense now that I think about it. On a semi-related note, NEVER underestimate Swift Swim Seismitoad. Unless you have Ferrothorn.
-Well, that's one way to get around FEAR Magnemite: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110467786
-Rocky Helmet Alakazam.
-So much stupid stuff here. Icing on the cake, Air Balloon Togekiss: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110465765
-What is this I don't even: http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou-110466625
Special gallade! really........ I'm done

i'm new to finding these bad replays but this one had odd stuff on almost every move

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110883036
ominous wind aerodactyl whyyyyyy T.T if you really want to go that way it learns ancient power which is the exact same thing with stab. I wish wed gotten to see htat cloyster, it was probably rain dance

EDIT:

that moment when having a purely physical team bites you in the ass

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110887721
-work up jolteon
-the other guy switching to latios after boosts and tricking said jolteon a choice specs boosting it even further when he has nothing that resists electric.
-seaking
-bounce alomola
-soak on alomola
-what might have been a seaking sweep if not for mach punch
-rain dance lumineon.

this guy did alot better than he should have

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110887721
-quick claw espeon
-counter dark pulse rock slide skarmory
-other guy had payback skarm
-counter on everything
-other guy uses psyshock on absol
-its down to the final battle, hydro pump just did 87% of heatrans life and now im toxic poisoned, what to do, i know! dazzling gleam so he can rest and ko me with magma storm!

accuracy is not an excuse to hope a double resisted 80 bp move can kill a bulky pokemon with no boosts

Isn't Hyper Beam Sylveon supposed to be like an Emergency Button Nuke since it outdamages Hyper Voice by 67% with its nearly 200 BP?
Yup. It's basically explosion especially if its a super effective hit. A parting gift before you die. (With pixilate/refrigerate)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-110997833 -- So this guy points out my breloom has no mach punch. He says that it's common on technician sets, which is true, but he clearly saw my Breloom get poisoned. Meanwhile, he has Flame Orb Ambipom(which according to him, is better than life orb) and tricks leftovers that he got from my Heatran to my Scizor that was already holding leftovers. And a few other things.

-Air Balloon+Heatproof (presumably) Bronzong. Because losing your fire weakness is worth giving up (permanent) full ground immunity.
Heatproof isn't too bad because everyone and their mother automatically assume all Bronzong are Levitate and would never use EQ on it anyway. Air Balloon is the thing that is funny. It's like saying, sup guys, I am heatproof, don't use Fire attacks on me.

I'd say the best way to test whether or not Baton Pass's effectiveness is reduced through limiting how many Pokemon can have the move is by running separate tests for two types teams: x < 3 Baton Passers and => 3 Baton Passers. The number is up for debate, but the general idea remains. With a limit on the number of baton passers, overall fluidity should be reduced so equally skilled players have an about equal chance of winning, but I haven't tested this myself.

That's the last of my opinions. Anything else and I sound like a dolt.
^ um wrong thread?

Damage calcs:
252 sp AT choice specs Turboblaze Kyurem-W Draco Meteor vs. Igglybuff: 0-0 (0 - 0%) --
252 AT Rayquaza Outrage vs. Igglybuff: 0-0 (0-0%)

This thing's bulky as hell!
Aim for the horn next time.
Seriously, that's what the calculator says.

Also, for what it's worth, Hyper Beam Pixilate Sylveon OHKO's Conkeldurr.

Edit: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pokerus-ou-14224
If it wasn't for Corsola, I'd think this was a Level 50 LC battle. Also, lol Unnerve Houndour.

Clefable vs. the world...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-111096975
It's kinda awesome to be that Spiritomb. Shedinja, not so much.

The person here that I was facing on this alt that I'm using had a Banded Poliwrath. Kept using Dynamic Punch.
inb4 people are going to say: "How's that silly?"
lol you forgot to mention malamar trying to use hypnosis 2 times on your burned landorus.
and switching bisharp in on conkeldurr XD

only silly thing you did was using hydro pump on poliwrath. youd think hed stop using d punch after losing the band and missing all but the first one.

You think you've been through the worst of it...

You've seen HP Dragon Dragonite, Assault Vest Forretress, and even Snowball Scizor...

But now, the true terribad titan arises... its name...

CHOICE BAND CHANSEY.

I didn't catch a replay of it, but I know it had Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, and Brick Break.
God help us.
