Senior Staff is now structured into teams! Here is a brief rundown of what they are, who leads them, and for the public teams who is on them:
Reports and User Safety, led by Theia and ken. The User Safety Team is responsible for reports, investigations, and all things related to keeping users safe on this site. As always, please feel comfortable bringing user safety concerns to whichever member of Senior Staff you are most comfortable with, but the specialized members of the team are:
Appeals, led by UT. The Appeals team fields infraction, forum ban, and discord ban appeals to ensure consistency in enforcement and preserve user safety as well.
Site Staffing / Community Leadership, led by autumn and Estarossa. The Community Leadership team serves as an oversight group for the different communities on Smogon, from tiers to social forums and everything else. Some members of the team if you want to bring community concerns to are:
Site Maintenance / Development, led by Kalalokki. The Site Maintenance team covers all of the day-to-day technical work like adding new forums, handling name changes, and general ACP wizardry.
Tiering, led by shiloh. Shiloh was already the tiering admin, but now we're giving him friends to play with. They're the final stop for all tiering questions, decisions, and advisement.
The other major change is the admin rank is being retired. A lot of the duties the admin team used to have will now fall on the team leads instead, rendering the position obsolete. All current admins will have the badge alumned for historical reasons, and we are leaving it active on chaos and Zarel to reflect their positions as site owners, but otherwise it is retired.
TL;DR: yay new teams, no more admins.
