[SET COMMENTS]
<p>Scrafty is one of 3 three Fake Out users available in VGC 2011, and as the slowest user of the move, he it is the most suited to the a role in Trick Room teams. Fake Out will incapacitate an opponent for the first turn of a the match, making it easier for your partner to twist the dimensions. Drain Punch is the first of Zuruzukin's Scrafty's offensive options that provides unresisted coverage alongside its coverage moves. Drain Punch also serves a defensive purpose allows Scrafty to recover health and survive longer with it's good bulkiness. Crunch is the second move in its offensive arsenal and an all-round safe option that compliments Drain Punch and works off of Scrafty's secondary STAB. The final move<remove space>slot will depend on the rest of your team's need. and play style: Detect is always useful in VGC Doubles; Ice Punch gives Zuruzukin even more provides Scrafty with even better coverage, including and gives it a reliable of way of hitting to hit all 3 three genies and other threats,<comma> such as Crimgan and Morobareru, Drudigon and Amoongus, super effectively; Rock Slide can be useful in Trick Room if you enjoy abusing its 30% flinch rate and will still hit 2 two of the genies hard super effectively, it will also leave a huge dent in Ulgamoth Volcarona. The choice of item is dependent on how offensive or defensive you play: your playstyle. Chople Berry will give Scrafty a better defense some protection against Roobushins Conkeldurr's Mach Punch, whereas Life Orb will provide you with some handy KOs on Pokemon,<comma> such as Shandera and Burungeru Chandelure and Jellicent, who can be EVed to survive Scrafty's attacks Crunch without Life Orb. While Shed Skin can be a useful as an ability to save Scrafty from the odd spore or burn move status, Moxie is generally the superior option as Scrafty has an uncanny ability to stick around for a lot of the match many and therefore is happy to make use of the Attack boosts it is capable of getting with its great coverage.</p>
[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
<p>Within Trick Room, you can give Scrafty even less Speed by taking advantage of the Iron Ball/Fling combination. Scrafty can make use of Fling + Iron Ball. shouldn't this be in the OO? Iron Ball allows reduces Scrafty's Speed to 28 with 0 Speed IV to reach 28 speed with a 0 Speed IV, which will outspeed popular Trick Room Pokemon,<comma> such as Roobushin, Morobareru and Mushanna Conkeldurr, Amoongus, and Musharna, when Trick Room is in effect. It's also worth noting that Iron Ball Fling will OHKO 252 HP/ 0 Def Jellicent Burungeru 100% of the time. You may want to considering running Zen Headbutt in the third slot on this moveset as a way of hitting Roobushin and Morobareru for super effective damage to hit Conkeldurr and Amoongus super effectively. It also comes with a useful 20% flinch chance.</p>
<p>Scrafty fears Fighting types, especially Conkeldurr who manages to outspeed Scrafty even in Trick Room conditions. Having a Fighting-type resist to switch in or a Pokemon that can KO Conkeldurr is helpful, such as Mushanna,<comma> who can deal a heavy hit with STAB Psychic as well as setting up Trick Room. Scrafty also fears Flying-type attacks from Pokemon such as Torunerosu and Archeos Tornadus and Archeops. A Pokemon that can take care of these, such as Eelectross Shiburidon is useful a great teammate. Scrafty's role is usually to support a set-<hyphen>up Pokemon, and then hammer away once it’s it has achieved that role. Trick Room Pokémon users,<comma> in general,<comma> are happy to receive this support.</p>
[Other Options]
<p>Zen Headbutt is a viable option as it 2HKOes 252 HP/ 0 Def Morobareru Amoongus 85.14% of the time, and 2HKOes Guts 252 HP/ 0 Def Guts Conkeldurr, 100% of the time factoring in burn damage. Scrafty can run a Bulk Up set to take advantage of its good defenses and Drain Punch, however, Roobushin is probably more suited to this particular role it is outclassed by Conkeldurr in this aspect, as it the latter has just as good defenses the same defenses, a more powerful stronger Drain Punch in order to recover damage more HP, and is generally more threatening than Scrafty.</p>
[Checks and Counters]
<p>Conkeldurr is an absolute monster nightmare for Scrafty as who can protect turn 1 to activate its Guts boost it can use Protect to activate its status Orb, then destroy Scrafty with an array of Fighting-type attacks. Conkeldurr also outspeeds Scrafty in Trick Room and has priority Mach Punch for to use outside of Trick Room, making it an absolute terror no matter which way you twist the dimensions. <backspace>Fighting-types Pokémon with Inner Focus prove a are a huge problem to Scrafty, the most common of these being Kojondo Mienshao who also has a faster Fake Out than Scrafty, causing it all sorts of problems at the start of a the match. Dageki and Nageki Sawk and Throh also share possess the Inner Focus ability and will can threaten Scrafty with their STAB Fighting-type attacks. Archeos, Wargle and Torunerosu Archeops, Braviary, and Tornadus can OHKO Scrafty with Acrobat and will easily outspeed it if Trick Room is not set up. Ulgamoth and Denchura Volcarona and Galvantulaare on the same boat but with Bug Buzz instead.can do the same with Bug Buzz.</p>
