PU super hidden ability tournament!

welcome to the first pu super hidden ability tournament!! in this tournament, every pokemon present in the pu viability rankings got a brand new super hidden ability giving them a significant buff, for the most part. along with a couple of other users, i made a list of all those ability changes - you can find it below!​

specific tournament rules:

• the tournament will be single elimination.
• players will play a best of one series each round.
• matches are to be played on pokemon showdown! only.
• all games should be played in the [gen 8] custom game format
• only the listed abilities are allowed; everything else on your team must be legal by the current swsh pu tier rules.
• posting replays is absolutely mandatory, otherwise a coinflip will decide a matchup's winner.

standard rules and clauses:

• sleep clause: a player cannot put two or more different opposing pokemon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing pokemon.
• species clause: a player cannot have two of the same pokemon on their team. for example, a player cannot have two talonflame on their team.
• evasion clause: a player cannot use the moves double team or minimize in their pokemon's movesets.
• ohko clause: players cannot use horn drill, guillotine, sheer cold, or fissure in any of their pokémon's movesets.
• timer clause: if a player exhausts the timer, they lose.
• endless battle clause: any moveset on any pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.
