Pokemon Showdown App?

Hey I was thinking that a pokemon showdown app for android phones and apple products would be amazing! Having the ability to battle people and stay informed on all things pokemon at your fingertips when ever you want would be so incredible.

Last I checked, Showdown is already playable on mobile devices.

Do not suggest a Smogon mobile / tablet app.
This has been suggested numerous times and naturally it gets rejected. Programming is hard work and simply put, nobody's going to work on an app just because someone asked for one in this forum. Programmers work on exactly what they want (or are paid) to program. If you are a competent programmer and would like to see a Smogon mobile app, you are more than welcome to make one yourself! Post a thread in the C&C Projects subforum with the (Programming) prefix.

The above quote applies to Showdown! too. If someone was willing to make a showdown app, they would have already made it or might be working on one already.
Also Ladymence, it's not universally "playable," my droid x2 doesn't play it very well.

Yeah, mobile Showdown is pretty bad (iPhone 5 here) but this just stems from the fact that it wasn't made for mobile devices. Maybe that'll be addressed once everything works perfectly, but since that's no more than a pipe dream with XY coming so soon, it's unlikely.
