With the release of the Teal Mask DLC, Ogerpon-W has made quite the splash in the OU metagame! It really has all the tools it needs and then some, being a fast Water-immune Pokemon with a high Attack stat while also having a solid movepool. Ivy Cudgel and Power Whip are powerful STAB moves that have few resistances, with the latter used mainly to hit Water-types and Tera Water Pokemon that might try to come in to pivot, such as Dondozo and Gliscor. Swords Dance helps Ogerpon-W dismantle fatter teams, notably having a roll to KO physically defensive Toxapex with +2 Power Whip after Stealth Rock. Play Rough hits Dragon-types and Tera Dragon Pokemon, including Dragonite and Manaphy. Knock Off is used to remove high-value items, namely Heavy-Duty Boots. However, you can't talk about Ogerpon-W without mentioning its Tera Ability, Embody Aspect! Embody Aspect is an ability granted after Terastallization that raises its Special Defense by 1; this can be used to get the one up on common special attackers that outpace it like Iron Moth and Dragapult in a pinch. Ogerpon-W can fit on all sorts of archetypes, being usable on everything from hyper offense to balance teams.

It really has all the tools it needs to succeed and then some; being a fast water immune with STABs that can hit really hard while also having a really good coverage options, Play Rough is the only really good coverage thats used, knock off is good but moreso for the utility the move provides its no surprise why Ogerpon has become so dominate in a short amount of time. Ivy Cudgel is the main STAB of choice, being a 100 BP move with 100% accuracy while on top of that having a High-Critical Hit ratio, the move really speaks for itself. Power Whip is Ogerpons' strongest grass STAB option to hit water types or Tera-Water Pokemon that might try to come in to pivot. Any Examples? The next move is Swords Dance, which is used to make its strong STAB combo even stronger, notably getting close to knocking out a max defense Toxapex from full after a single Swords Dance with Power Whip, allowing Ogerpon to dismantle a lot of defensive teams (ignore this if youve reached a character limit, but would be cool to mention). In the last slot Ogerpon will usually run either Knock Off or Play Rough. With hazards being as important as they are in SV OU, Knock Off is a valuable asset to have on any Pokemon to remove items such as leftovers and heavy-duty-boots, while Play Rough is used hit relevant dragon types or Pokemon that tera into a dragon type to check Ogerpon's STAB moves. Sorry, I didnt intend to make anybody's job harder! Been busy with work and kinda scrambled to get it done when Kris mentioned the deadline so some grammar was left at the door when I reworded a bunch of things to remove fluff! Implemented your changes, I also reworked the part about Ivy Cudgel like you mentioned if you can double check that as well since some of the wording has changed! Thanks a lot.

Talked on discord and came to an agreement that Manaphy is a more relevant mention as Dozo has started using grass tera more often post firepon ban.
