[OVERVIEW]
**Psychic**:
Slowbro is easily the best option for a physical wall on Psychic-type teams. Its excellent physical bulk allows it to switch into physical attackers, such as Terrakion and Landorus-T, and threaten them with Scald or Thunder Wave. Slowbro's bulk also allows it to tank U-turn, which Psychic-type teams are especially weak to. Because it acts as a blanket check to physical attackers, Slowbro supports offensive Psychic-types really well, as they tend to have a low Defense stat. Slowbro has access to Regenerator, making it a great defensive pivot. It also has access to reliable recovery in Slack Off, making it a great defensive wall in general and maximizing its setup sweeping potential. It has a decent base 100 Special Attack stat for a bulky Water-type; this paired with Slowbro's good coverage moves such as Fire Blast, Grass Knot, and Ice Beam makes it a potent setup sweeper with Calm Mind. However, Slowbro's lackluster Special Defense makes it vulnerable to common special attackers such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Charizard Y, and Mega Pidgeot. Its useful Water typing allows it to act as a great check to Water-types such as Kingdra and Keldeo, which would otherwise break through Psychic-type teams with their powerful STAB Hydro Pump; however, it adds a weakness to Electric- and Grass-type moves, allowing Pokemon like Thundurus and Breloom to check it effectively. It has a terrible Speed stat, which leaves it outsped by almost the entire metagame and makes it vulnerable to Taunt. Slowbro is also very weak to status ailments such as burn and poison, as they hinder its ability to act as a defensive pivot.

Moves
========
Scald is an extremely spammable STAB move due to its chance to burn the foe. Grass Knot is Slowbro's preferred coverage move, which in conjunction with Colbur Berry allows it to handle several threats to Psychic-type teams such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados, as well as Pokemon such as Gastrodon and Seismitoad that would otherwise wall Slowbro. Thunder Wave gives Slowbro utility in paralyzing faster Pokemon and Scald switch-ins such as Choice Scarf Victini and Latios, respectively, as well as certain threats such as Mega Sharpedo and Hydreigon. Alternatively, other coverage options can be run; Fire Blast hits Bisharp, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor, whereas Ice Beam hits Dragon-types in general. It's fine to drop Thunder Wave, as Slowbro has the coverage to check the Pokemon Thunder Wave targets, primarily Mega Sharpedo. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable form of recovery, allowing it to stay healthy enough to check Dark-types.

Set Details
========
The investment in HP and Defense along with a Bold nature allows Slowbro to switch into and check many physical attackers such as Choice Band Terrakion and Mega Gallade. 12 EVs in Special Defense let Slowbro avoid the OHKO from a Choice Specs-boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra. Colbur Berry allows Slowbro to deal with a plethora of threats to Psychic-type teams; with Colbur Berry, it can revenge kill Mega Gyarados and Mega Sharpedo with Grass Knot, revenge kill Bisharp with Fire Blast, and paralyze Hoopa-U with Thunder Wave without fear of taking significant damage from a Dark-type move. Regenerator heals Slowbro every time it switches out, allowing it to act as a great defensive pivot.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used as a defensive pivot, switching into physical attackers that it threatens such as Mega Lopunny. With Regenerator, Slowbro can be used to switch into and scout Choice-locked foes with reduced negative repercussions, and then switch back out to the appropriate partner. The Colbur Berry should be preserved in matchups against threats such as Mega Gyarados, Mega Sharpedo, and Hoopa-U. Slowbro should be careful when switching into Mega Sharpedo or Mega Gyarados on a prediction, as losing the Berry early can be a death sentence. Thunder Wave should be used on threats such as Hoopa-U and healthy Mega Sharpedo. It also lets Slowbro neutralize sweepers in an emergency and allow its teammates to deal with them more easily. Grass Knot should be used to deal with Mega Gyarados, as it generally runs Substitute or Taunt, rendering Thunder Wave useless. Slowbro should be wary of weak Dark-type moves from Pokemon like Mandibuzz, as it wastes the Colbur Berry.

In other matchups, it is recommended that Slowbro switch into Knock Off and U-turn users that threaten Psychic-types, such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Choice Band Mamoswine, as it can check them exceptionally well with Colbur Berry. Residual damage from entry hazards, status, or previous attacks can prevent Slowbro from checking threats such as Choice Specs Hoopa-U, whose Dark Pulse already almost OHKOs Slowbro even at full HP. Therefore, Slowbro should avoid taking too much damage and use Slack Off liberally to stay healthy. Slowbro shouldn't be left in against setup sweepers that it can't touch, such as Lum Berry Bisharp, which it cannot effectively check without Fire Blast, and Calm Mind Clefable.

Team Options
========
Many frail wallbreakers that are weak to priority moves, particularly Sucker Punch, appreciate Slowbro as a defensive partner. Mega Medicham can break through defensive Pokemon that normally wall or threaten Slowbro such as Chansey and Ferrothorn. Mega Gardevoir, in conjunction with Slowbro, can easily dismantle Dark-type teams. It can also help preserve Slowbro's Colbur Berry by removing weaker Dark-types such as Mandibuzz. Mega Gardevoir also beats many Dragon-types that threaten Slowbro, such as Latios and Dragalge. Choice Scarf Gardevoir can check the same Pokemon in addition to weather sweepers that Slowbro cannot switch into, such as Choice Band Excadrill and Choice Specs Kingdra. Hoopa-U is another wallbreaker that pairs well with Slowbro; the latter can switch in on the priority users that easily revenge kill Hoopa-U, such as Dragonite and Bisharp, and threaten them out with burns or paralysis, while Hoopa-U checks the Ghost-types and defensive walls that threaten Slowbro in return. Victini, especially a Choice Scarf variant, is also a great partner to Slowbro by checking the Grass- and Bug-type Pokemon that threaten Slowbro such as Rotom-C, Heracross, and Volcarona. Choice Scarf Victini can also finish off a weakened Mega Gyarados with Bolt Strike if Slowbro goes down prematurely. Latios and Latias are great partners, as they can Defog away entry hazards, letting Slowbro switch into attacks more easily. This is particularly relevant due to this Slowbro set's lack of passive recovery from Leftovers. Latias can also support Slowbro with Healing Wish. Both Latias and Latios can reliably check Keldeo, which this Slowbro set is worse at due to the lack of Leftovers. Jirachi is a good defensive complement, as it can easily switch into strong special moves that threaten Slowbro out, such as Draco Meteor and Hyper Voice from Latios and Mega Gardevoir, respectively, due to its great defensive typing. As it tends to be setup bait for Mega Scizor and Bisharp, Jirachi appreciates having Fire Blast Slowbro as a partner. Mew is another great defensive Pokemon with access to a variety of utility moves such as Will-O-Wisp, Knock Off, and Taunt. Its stallbreaker set allows it to break through defensive Pokemon that Slowbro cannot touch, such as Chansey and Porygon2. With significant Speed investment, Mew can cripple Bisharp and Mega Gyarados with Will-O-Wisp, lessening the pressure on Slowbro.

Moves
========
Scald is an extremely spammable Water-type STAB move with a good chance to cripple physical attackers with a burn. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable way to recover health, which, when combined with Regenerator, makes Slowbro extremely hard to wear down. Fire Blast gives Slowbro coverage for Steel-type threats such as Mega Scizor, Bisharp, and Ferrothorn. Flamethrower can be used to provide a more accurate option, but it deals significantly less damage to Bisharp. Thunder Wave is a general utility option that is used to cripple common Scald switch-ins such as Hydreigon and Mega Latias, setup sweepers such as Dragonite, and Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Victini and Kyurem-B.

Set Details
========
The investment in HP and Defense with a Bold nature maximizes Slowbro's physical bulk, allowing it to switch into many physical attackers such as Choice Scarf Victini, Terrakion, and Choice Scarf Kyurem-B. 24 EVs in Special Defense are used to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs-boosted Hydro Pump from Keldeo after Stealth Rock damage and to survive a Choice Specs-boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra if at full HP. Leftovers gives Slowbro a form of passive recovery, letting it switch into physical attackers more easily. Rocky Helmet is an option to punish physical attackers and break potential Focus Sashes as well as Dragonite's Multiscale. However, if Rocky Helmet is being used, a spread of 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SpD should be run, as Slowbro cannot check Keldeo with the listed spread. Rocky Helmet is especially useful in whittling down U-turn users such as Victini and Jirachi. Regenerator continually heals Slowbro whenever it switches out, letting it act as a great defensive pivot.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used to pivot into physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny and Landorus-T. Regenerator should be taken advantage of to let Slowbro scout Choice-locked foes and switch out to an appropriate partner. Slowbro should spread status through Scald or Thunder Wave, using Thunder Wave on faster threats such as Hydreigon and Latios and Scald on defensive switch-ins such as Porygon2 and Zapdos. By spreading status, these threats become a lot easier for Slowbro's teammates to handle. Slack Off should be used to keep Slowbro as healthy as possible so that it can switch into strong physical attackers such as Choice Band Mamoswine. Using Slack Off when Regenerator would've been sufficient can result in a loss of momentum, however. Slowbro should be kept away from status ailments such as Toxic poison and burns, as they severely hinder its ability to switch into attacks. Therefore, Slowbro shouldn't be used to combat most walls, as they can cripple it with such status. If Rocky Helmet is being used, use its presence to deter opposing users of Fake Out and other priority moves, such as Dragonite and Mega Medicham, from revenge killing teammates, or to prevent U-turn users, such as Victini and Jirachi, from freely gaining momentum. Slowbro shouldn't be left in against Pokemon like Clefable and Mega Gyarados, as it tends to become setup bait.

Team Options
========
Slowbro can fit well on all balanced teams, as it's a great blanket check to most physical attackers. Specially defensive Jirachi forms a great defensive core with Slowbro. Slowbro appreciates Jirachi's great typing and support moves, as it can switch into Fairy-type Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, and Clefable, can act as a one-time Choice Scarf Heracross switch-in, threatening it with Thunder Wave, and can also support Slowbro with Healing Wish. Jirachi appreciates having Slowbro to switch into certain Fire-type Pokemon such as Darmanitan, Victini, and Entei, as well as Ground-type attacks from Pokemon like Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Choice Band Mamoswine. Mew is a great defensive complement to Slowbro, being able to switch into many special attacks from Pokemon such as Landorus and Mega Gardevoir, which Slowbro doesn't like to do. The stallbreaker variant is particularly helpful in being able to beat defensive Pokemon that Slowbro cannot touch, such as Chansey and Porygon2. Mew can also Defog away entry hazards, allowing Slowbro to switch into attacks more easily. Colbur Berry Celebi can check threats such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados. Celebi in general also acts as a great status absorber due to its ability Natural Cure.

Victini is a great partner to Slowbro. The Choice Scarf variant can run through Bug- and Grass-type teams, notably checking threats like Volcarona and Heracross, which threaten Slowbro. It can also revenge kill a weakened +1 Mega Gyarados, which would otherwise use Slowbro as setup fodder. In return, Slowbro can switch into Pokemon that threaten Victini like Choice Scarf Terrakion, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and specially defensive Tyranitar. Hoopa-U appreciates having Slowbro to absorb the U-turns and Knock Offs that threaten it. In return, variants of Hoopa-U can beat Ghost-type Pokemon like Gengar that threaten Slowbro. The mixed variant with Substitute and Drain Punch in particular can also check Bisharp by playing mind games with Sucker Punch. Hoopa-U can also check stallbreakers such as Gliscor and Mew, along with walls such as Chansey and Porygon2. Mega Medicham appreciates having Slowbro to pivot into physical attackers like Mega Lopunny, which threatens it due to its bad defenses. Conversely, Mega Medicham can easily break through common defensive Pokemon that give Slowbro a hard time, such as Lanturn, Porygon2, and Chansey. Mega Gardevoir is a very strong special wallbreaker that checks Dragon- and Dark-type Pokemon that threaten Slowbro, such as Latios and Hydreigon. Mega Gardevoir can switch into Gyarados prior to Mega Evolution, weakening it by copying Intimidate and threatening it with Hyper Voice. Choice Scarf Gardevoir can also check Dark- and Dragon-types along with weather sweepers that Slowbro cannot switch into, such as Choice Band Excadrill and Choice Specs Kingdra. In return, Slowbro can switch into common Gardevoir checks such as Terrakion and Jirachi. Latios, Latias, and Mega Latias are good partners to Slowbro, as they can Defog away entry hazards, allowing Slowbro to switch into attacks more easily. They also can switch into Electric- and Grass-type attacks with incredible ease, while Slowbro can switch into Ice-type attackers such as Mamoswine and Cloyster. Latias can also support Slowbro with Healing Wish.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Calm Mind boosts Slowbro's Special Defense and Special Attack stats, which helps patch up its low Special Defense and turns it into a potent setup sweeper. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable form of recovery and gives it an easier time setting up. Scald is its most spammable STAB move due to its chance to burn the foe. Psyshock allows Slowbro to win Calm Mind wars against other setup sweepers such as Clefable, hits special walls such as Chansey, and gives Slowbro coverage for Fighting- and Poison-types, particularly Mega Venusaur. Fire Blast is an alternative that lets Slowbro break Steel-type teams. It can still be used to somewhat check Mega Venusaur, but it must rely on many more boosts to do so. Flamethrower can also be run due to its higher PP and better accuracy, but the drop in power is significant. Thunder Wave is a utility option that can be run over Psyshock or Fire Blast to cripple Pokemon that Slowbro pivots into, such as Choice Scarf Kyurem-B and Choice Band Terrakion.

Set Details
========
The given EV spread maximizes Slowbro's physical bulk, with enough Special Defense to take two Choice Specs-boosted Hydro Pumps from Keldeo and one Choice Specs-boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra at full HP. Regenerator is the ability of choice, allowing Slowbro to act as a great defensive pivot by recovering health every time it switches out. Leftovers gives Slowbro a form of passive recovery that lets it switch into attacks more easily.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used as a defensive pivot early- and mid-game. It should switch into Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Choice Scarf Terrakion that it can threaten with Scald or Psyshock. Slowbro should generally set up late-game when its checks, such as Mega Venusaur, are at least weakened so that it can clean up more easily. However, in some situations, Slowbro can set up at other points during the game and weaken some of the checks that generally switch into it such as Zapdos and Mega Venusaur. Slowbro should setup on physical attackers that it walls, such as Mega Lopunny and Terrakion, and Choice-locked Pokemon like Keldeo. Slowbro can bluff a defensive set and threaten Pokemon out with a possible Thunder Wave to create an opportunity to start setting up. Getting Scald burns on Slowbro's checks early-game can be especially effective and makes it easier for it to find setup opportunities. Slowbro utilizes double switches really well with this set, gaining the Regenerator recovery and putting pressure on its checks. Slowbro should always be kept away from status, especially Toxic poison, as it continually whittles Slowbro down, making it harder to sweep successfully.

Team Options
========
Celebi is a great teammate to Slowbro. With a Colbur Berry, Celebi can check several threats that completely wall this set, such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados. It can also switch into Electric-type attacks, completely heal Slowbro with Healing Wish, absorb status thanks to Natural Cure, and cleanse Slowbro of status with Heal Bell. Jirachi is another good defensive partner to Slowbro, as it can support it with Healing Wish as well as switch into and check strong Fairy-types that beat Slowbro such as Sylveon, Mega Gardevoir, and Mega Diancie. Victini can take out Slowbro's checks such as Ferrothorn, Heracross, and Volcarona. It can also create more opportunities for Slowbro to set up by bringing it in safely with U-turn. Mew, particularly the stallbreaker variant, can switch into several special attackers that threaten Slowbro and deal with walls that don't allow Slowbro to set up such as Zapdos. Mega Medicham pairs well with Slowbro, as it can get rid of Pokemon that wall Slowbro, such as Ferrothorn, with its strong STAB High Jump Kick. Mega Gardevoir can break through walls and Dark-types that threaten Slowbro, such as Mega Venusaur and Hydreigon, respectively, with its strong STAB moves, allowing Slowbro to set up more easily. Choice Scarf Gardevoir can get rid of weather sweepers such as Excadrill and Kingdra along with Dark- and Dragon-types. Hoopa-U is an extremely strong wallbreaker that can deal with a plethora of threats to Slowbro, such as Mega Venusaur, Zapdos, Ferrothorn, Doublade, and Ghost-types in general with its strong STAB and coverage moves. Latios can help weaken Slowbro's checks and can easily switch into Grass- and Electric-type moves that threaten it. It can also Defog away entry hazards, letting Slowbro take less residual damage before setting up. Gothitelle deserves a mention due to its ability to trap and remove many threats such as Zapdos and walls running Toxic, such as Chansey.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
**Psychic**:

Trick Room is an option over Thunder Wave on slower teams. It can make use of Slowbro's great bulk in order to almost always guarantee it gets set up, and Slowbro can be paired with strong wallbreakers such as Mega Gardevoir, Hoopa-U, and Victini in order to best take advantage of it. Ice Beam is a coverage option that can be used on the defensive set to lure and KO Pokemon like Dragonite and Landorus. Toxic can be considered over Thunder Wave, as it allows Slowbro to whittle down walls such as Chansey that defensive Slowbro cannot touch; however, Psychic-type teams prefer Slowbro crippling faster threats such as Kyurem-B with paralysis, allowing wallbreakers such as Mega Medicham and Latios to clean up more easily.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Psychic**:

**Super Effective Coverage**: Common coverage moves, such as Fusion Bolt from Life Orb Kyurem-B, Solar Beam from Mega Charizard Y, and Thunderbolt from Mega Latias, all deal massive damage to Slowbro, with some even OHKOing it such as Thunderbolt from Thundurus.

**Special Wallbreakers**: Most special wallbreakers, such as Latios, Dragalge, and Mega Gardevoir, can take advantage of Slowbro's mediocre Special Defense and put a dent in it with their strong STAB attacks; however, they hate being paralyzed by Thunder Wave.

**Status**: Status conditions such as burns and Toxic poison limit Slowbro's ability to switch into physical attackers. Toxic in particular puts Slowbro on a timer and prevents it from stalling out Pokemon with Slack Off.

**Stallbreakers**: Stallbreakers like Gliscor and Mew can cripple Slowbro with Taunt, which prevents it from recovering health, inflict status on it, and continually recover health with Roost.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon, such as Serperior, Mega Venusaur, and Rotom-C, can switch into Slowbro and OHKO it with their Grass-type STAB moves.

**Electric -types**: Electric-types like Mega Manectric, Magnezone, and Raikou can easily KO Slowbro with their strong Electric-type STAB moves and are immune to Thunder Wave. Volt Switch also allows Electric-types to take advantage of Slowbro and gain momentum.

**Bug-types**: Bug-type Pokemon, such as Volcarona, Scolipede, and Heracross, can deal a huge chunk of damage with their STAB moves; however, most of them do not like switching into Scald.

**Dragon-types**: Dragon-type Pokemon, such as Latios and Hydreigon, aren't bothered by Slowbro's STAB or coverage moves and can retaliate with their own strong STAB moves; however, they need to be wary of Thunder Wave.

**Ghost-types**: Offensive Ghost-types such as Chandelure and Gengar can easily KO Slowbro with their strong STAB Shadow Ball but need to be wary of Thunder Wave. Defensive Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL and Jellicent can easily switch into Slowbro and slowly whittle it down with Will-O-Wisp and Toxic, respectively.

**Dark-types**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Sharpedo, and Hoopa-U can KO Slowbro with their strong Dark-type STAB moves; however, they need to play around the Colbur Berry set.

Colbur Berry should be its own set because it's completely different both in the set and in its usage. You'll also need to have a Calm Mind set, which is definitely viable. I thought about having it slashed because Team Options will likely not be significantly different, but Usage Tips should be vastly different, so that's what I think.

I can't QC this right now because it's a merge of a defensive set and the Colbur Berry set. So tag me after you finish splitting the sets and adding Calm Mind.

For all sets, remember to reorder the Moves section based on the new sets.

Overview
- Give an example or two of what physical attackers it switches into for Psychic teams. Terrakion is a great example, as is Landorus-T
- Need to mention Calm Mind specifically, when you say a "potent setup sweeper"
- Slack Off's use looks to be tied to sweeping, but it's really also why Slowbro is a fantastic wall. I'd rephrase this.
- Add that its physical bulk allows it to tank U-turn, which Psychic teams are especially weak to. (This is critical. Maybe list certain pivots such as Victini or Landorus-T)
- Latios is not the best example because a full health Slowbro can actually beat it every time due to Draco Meteor's -2 drops. Instead, Mega Pidgeot could be good? (Tried to find a Pokemon I wouldn't call a top wallbreaker)
- Mention that its typing makes it a great check to many Water-types, preventing the likes of Kingdra and Keldeo from breaking the team with the use of their powerful Hydro Pump.
- With the weaknesses its typing brings, focus on Water, as it is on a Psychic team. So list a few threats this is relevant for. Thundurus and Breloom would do fine.
- I don't like the line about its Speed. Change it so that you could mention that it's especially vulnerable to Taunt because it's so slow too.

Defensive:
Set:
- Nitpicking the ordering here a bit. Scald is more important than Slack Off IMO. Also Fire Blast over Thunder Wave, because hitting Mega Scizor and co. is super good.

name: Defensive
move 1: Scald
move 2: Slack Off
move 3: Fire Blast
move 4: Thunder Wave
item: Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD

Moves:
- Just say Flamethrower deals significantly less damage to Bisharp
- You should move Ice Beam to Other Options.

Set Details:
- Choice Scarf Kyurem-B is a better example than Mega Medicham. Slowbro doesn't need investment to wall Mega Medicham. By the way, even Choice Band Terrakion is walled.
- Note that if Rocky Helmet is used, the spread should be 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SpD, as Leftovers is needed for Keldeo but not for Kingdra.
- Also, Rocky Helmet is especially good against U-turn users, as they end up taking more than Slowbro effectively will (in part due to Regenerator), so definitely bring that up.

Usage Tips:
- Add Mega Gyarados to the list of setup sweepers that Slowbro will lose to. Substitute completely shuts down Slowbro.
- There is redundancy here:
  • Slowbro can be used to pivot into physical attackers at any point in the game, and spread status through Scald or Thunder Wave.
  • It should be the primary switch-in to Pokemon that it threatens such as Mega Lopunny and Choice Scarf Landorus-T.
Separate it into 1 line about pivoting in and switching in and another line about spreading status
Also don't need to mention "at any point".
- Also discuss what are the targets of the individual status effects. You wouldn't paralyze a Porygon2, for example, or want to burn Hydreigon.
- Talk about its use of Slack Off some. Basically, talk about the possible momentum loss (if Slowbro is acting as a pivot) if you Slack Off as they switch to a check when Regenerator would have been sufficient.
- Do mention that it needs to be as healthy as possible to make sure it can switch into powerful attackers such as Choice Band Mamoswine.
- If using Rocky Helmet, use its presence to deter opposing Fake Out and other priority users from revenge killing teammates or U-turn users from freely gaining momentum. (List an example or two?)
- Explain the impact of its dislike of status. Slowbro has a really rough time against other walls in most cases and should not try to combat them. However, its use of Regenerator can give it the edge late-game.

Team Options:
- I would probably mention that Slowbro fits best on balanced teams, as it's too slow for offensive most offensive teams.
- Specifically mention Heracross and Volcarona, for what Victini checks.
- Explain that Hoopa-U breaks stallbreakers such as Gliscor and Mew along with walls such as Chansey and Porygon2. I would drop the Gastrodon and Seismitoad thing. Also add an example of a Ghost-type that Hoopa-U beats. Gengar or something.
- Mention that Jirachi has the ability to use Healing Wish
- Expand more on Mew. What special attackers does it check? Landorus and Mega Gardevoir are great examples. I would add that it can also Defog
- What threatens Mega Medicham that Slowbro checks? Mega Lopunny can go here.
- Choice Scarf Kyurem-B is a really confusing check to put here. You can just drop it.
- Mega Latias should be added to the Latis list. They also switch into Electric- and Grass-type attacks with incredible ease, while Slowbro can wall physical Ice-type attackers such as Mamoswine and Cloyster.

Colbur Berry:
Set:
- Only 12 SpD EVs are necessary, to survive Kingdra's Draco Meteor.
- Grass Knot is way more important than Thunder Wave. In fact, I would even list both above Slack Off.
- Ice Beam and Fire Blast can be put over Thunder Wave.

name: Colbur Berry
move 1: Scald
move 2: Grass Knot
move 3: Thunder Wave / Ice Beam / Fire Blast
move 4: Slack Off
item: Colbur Berry
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SpD

Moves:
- Slack Off lets Slowbro stay as healthy as possible, to make sure it can serve as a check to Dark-types.
- Thunder Wave is most importantly for Mega Sharpedo. Without it, you won't be beating Mega Sharpedo nearly as reliably.
- Fire Blast and Ice Beam may both be used but only over Thunder Wave. Fire Blast lets Slowbro take out Bisharp and Ice Beam threatens Dragon-types in general. Thunder Wave's main use (Mega Sharpedo) overlaps with Grass Knot, so it's the move to drop. Absolutely cannot drop Grass Knot on this set.

Set Details:
- 24 Special Defense EVs do not prevent the Choice Specs 2HKO after Stealth Rock damage. It needs Leftovers to do that. Keep the avoid OHKO from Kingdra because of 12 EVs instead.
- Say Choice Band Terrakion instead of Choice Scarf and Mega Gallade instead of Mega Lopunny.

Usage Tips:
- Make your Usage Tips specifically pertinent to this set. Yes there is some overlap, but the focus needs to be on Colbur Berry.
- Mention that residual damage from entry hazards, status, or previous damage can potentially actually prevent Slowbro from checking Choice Specs Hoopa-U, whose Dark Pulse can almost OHKO Colbur Berry Slowbro even from full health.
- Thus, Slowbro should avoid taking too much damage and should liberally use Slack Off to stay healthy.
- Definitely talk more about how Colbur Berry Slowbro should be used. It should be careful when switching directly into Mega Sharpedo or Mega Gyarados on a prediction, as losing the berry early can be a death sentence. Also, Thunder Wave is the better check to Mega Sharpedo, as Grass Knot fails to OHKO it. The reason Mega Gyarados is checked by Grass Knot is because Substitute and Taunt make Thunder Wave unusable. Grass Knot breaks its Substitute and deals great damage too.
- By the way, name Thunder Wave instead of just saying status.

Team Options:
- Try to tailor the Team Options to what's important to Colbur Berry Slowbro.
- Latias and Latios are fantastic teammates because they can reliably check Keldeo, which Slowbro is somewhat worse at doing now (Was already weak to Hidden Power Electric and now can be 2HKOed by Hydro Pump after Stealth Rock damage).
- Note that Choice Scarf Victini can clean up a weakened Mega Gyarados with Bolt Strike, if Slowbro goes down before it can finish the job. This is important, as Grass Knot does not KO Mega Gyarados even after taking Stealth Rock damage as Gyarados and even a use of Substitute. (Don't gotta mention this last part, but just explaining why you gotta bring it up)
- Checking Volcarona and Heracross are important enough to need to mention for Victini too.
- Jirachi especially appreciates Fire Blast Slowbro, as Jirachi is complete setup bait for Bisharp and Mega Scizor.
- Mew is important for being able to run Will-O-Wisp and significant Speed, allowing it to cripple Bisharp and Mega Gyarados, lessening some of the pressure on Slowbro.

Calm Mind:
Set:
- Adding Fire Blast as a slash. Calm Mind wars are rare in Monotype. Being able to break Steel-types is huge. It can still break Mega Venusaur, but really does rely on having many more boosts, so it's much less reliable.

name: Calm Mind
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Slack Off
move 3: Scald
move 4: Psyshock / Fire Blast
item: Leftovers
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD

Moves:
- Psyshock is also a way to hit Mega Venusaur, which really won't care at all about whatever Scald does.
- Mention Thunder Wave as utility that can be run over Psyshock
- Add the Fire Blast reasoning above.

Usage Tips:
- Give a few checks that should be removed first.
- Talk about what Slowbro can setup on in the first place. Give a few examples, but also scenarios too.

Team Options:
- Mention that Celebi is an absolutely great teammate thanks to Natural Cure. It can easily switch into Toxic and other status for Slowbro without much fear. It can also use Heal Bell to cleanse status for Slowbro.
- Heracross is a check Victini beats you need to talk about.
- Mega Gardevoir's not very good at breaking Zapdos, which can Roost stall it.
- Add Latios for helping weaken checks. It also switches into Electric- and Grass-type attacks too.
- Mention that Hoopa-U is great for breaking Ghost-types too.
- Add Jirachi for Healing Wish and for beating the strong Fairy-types that break Slowbro, such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, and Sylveon.
- I would also add Gothitelle, which can trap and remove many threats such as Zapdos and Toxic-using walls such as Chansey.

Other Options:
- You can mention Ice Beam for the Defensive set here.

Checks and Counters:
- You should really reformat the Super Effective Coverage. It's really weird to read right now. Fusion Bolt from Life Orb Kyurem-B and Thunderbolt from Hoopa-U and Mega Latias.
- Mention that Special Wallbreakers hate being paralyzed though.
- Electric-types are also immune to Thunder Wave.
- I'd add Stallbreakers or Taunt. For example, Gliscor and Mew both break Slowbro.
- Dark-types and Ghost-types should be listed. You should note that Dark-types (give examples too) need to play around the Colbur Berry set but are in general great checks to Slowbro. Ghost-types give like Gengar and Jellicent as examples.

This took a lot but was mostly cleaning up smaller details (although there were some relatively important things missing from the Colbur Berry set). Please do some review after implementing as well. QC 1/3

Overview
- Mention Slack Off and Regenerator together, and stress how Slowbro can be tough to break past
- Add that, because it is a great blanket check for physical attackers, it supports several offensive Psychic-types really well, which tend to have low Defense

Switch the order of the sets.
1 - Colbur
2 - Defensive
3 - Calm Mind
Talked about it with Eien, and Colbur is just better to use on Slowbro so you don't need to fit another M-Gyara/Sharp check somewhere else. You don't lose a whole lot by going Colbur > Lefties/RH anyways.

Colbur Berry

Moves
- Mention why it's acceptable to drop Thunder Wave; Slowbro has access to coverage moves that allow it to beat many of Thunder Wave's targets, and Grass Knot covers the primary target, Mega Sharpedo, decently well.

Usage Tips
- Mention how Regenerator allows Slowbro to switch in and scout against Choice-locked foes with less of a negative repercussion, then switch back out to the appropriate teammate (switching into CB Dnite's Outrage, then just going straight to Latios, for example).
- Also talk about how Thunder Wave lets Slowbro neutralize sweepers in an emergency and allow its teammates to remove them easily
- "Thunder Wave should be used on threats such as Mega Sharpedo and Hoopa-U, as its other coverage moves cannot OHKO either"
Just say "...threats such as Hoopa-U and an unweakened Mega Sharpedo" since Grass Knot doesn't require too much prior damage to secure the KO. You also mention that Grass Knot is used to handle Mega Sharpedo in the Moves section, so that statement was somewhat contradictory.

Team Options
- Mention that Mega Gardevoir also allows Slowbro to preserve its Colbur Berry more easily by removing Mandibuzz and other weaker Dark-types

Defensive
Usage Tips
- Like the above, mention how Regenerator allows Slowbro scout its foes more comfortably
- Also say that, by spreading status, certain threats, such as the ones that you named, become a lot easier for Slowbro's teammates to handle

Team Options
- Elaborate on why Slowbro fits so easily on all balance teams. It's a great blanket check for physical attackers, etc.
- Specifically mention that Victini can revenge kill a weakened +1 Mega Gyarados, which is especially important since this Slowbro variant is easily set up on.
- "Mega Gardevoir can also check Mega Gyarados with Trace and Hyper Voice, which Slowbro appreciates."
The part about Trace seems a little unclear to readers. Maybe reword it to something like "Mega Gardevoir can switch into Gyarados, weaken it by copying Intimidate with Trace, and threaten it with Hyper Voice"
- You should mention Colbur Berry Celebi here; you do on the CM set, but it is just as useful of a partner here for M-Gyara and Sharp.

Calm Mind

Moves
- Don't slash it on the set, but mention Flamethrower in this section. It has higher PP and accuracy, but the power is noticeably lower.

Usage Tips
- Talk about how Slowbro utilizes double switches really well with this set, gaining the Regenerator recovery and putting pressure on Slowbro's checks
- Mention that getting Scald burns on Slowbro's checks early-game can be especially effective and make it easier for Slowbro to find set up opportunities

Checks and Counters
- In the Super-Effective Coverage section, Thunderbolt Hoopa-U isn't the best example when it's just going to Dark Pulse against Psychic; you already mention Hoopa-U in the Dark-type section anyways. Remove it from this section, and replace it with Solar Beam Mega Charizard Y if you wish.
- In the Electric-types section, add that Volt Switch allows them to take advantage of Slowbro and quickly gain momentum

Really nicely done, QC 2/3. Write this up!

**Psychic**:
Slowbro is easily the best option for a physical wall on Psychic-type teams. It's excellent physical bulk allows it to switch into physical attackers, such as Terrakion and Landorus-T, and threaten them with Scald or Thunder Wave. Slowbro's bulk also allows it to tank U-turn, which Psychic-type teams are especially weak to. Slowbro has access to Regenerator, which recovers health everytime it switches out, making it a great defensive pivot. It also has access to reliable recovery in Slack Off, making it a great defensive wall in general and maximizes its setup sweeping potential. It has a decent base 100 Special Attack stat for a bulky Water-type. This paired with Slowbro's good coverage moves such as Fire Blast, Grass Knot, and Ice Beam make it a potent setup sweeper with Calm Mind. However, Slowbro's lackluster Special Defense makes it vulnerable to common special attackers such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Charizard Y, and Mega Pidgeot. It's useful Water typing allows it to act as a great check to Water-types such as Kingdra and Keldeo, which would otherwise break through Psychic-type teams with their powerful STAB Hydro Pump; however, it adds a weakness to Electric- and Grass-type moves, allowing Pokemon like Thundurus and Breloom to check it effectively. It has a terrible Speed stat leaving it outsped by almost the entire metagame and makes it vulnerable to Taunt. Slowbro is also very weak to status such as burn and poison as it hinders its ability to act as a defensive pivot.

Moves
========
Scald is an extremely spammable STAB move due to its chance to burn the foe. Grass Knot is Slowbro's preferred coverage move which, in conjunction with Colbur Berry, allows it to handle several threats to Psychic-type teams such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados, as well as Pokemon such as Gastrodon and Seismitoad which would otherwise wall Slowbro. Thunder Wave gives Slowbro utility in paralysing faster Pokemon and Scald switch-ins Pokemon that can switch into Scald, such as Choice Scarf Victini and Latios, respectively, and certain threats such as Mega Sharpedo and Hydreigon. Alternatively, other coverage options can be run; Fire Blast to hit Bisharp, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor, and Ice Beam to hit Dragon-types in general. It's fine to drop Thunder Wave as Slowbro has the coverage check the Pokemon Thunder Wave hits, primarily Mega Sharpedo. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable form of recovery, allowing it to stay healthy to check Dark-types.

Set Details
========
The investments in HP and Defense along with a Bold nature allow Slowbro to switch into and check many physical attackers such as Choice Band Terrakion and Mega Gallade. 12 EVs in Special Defense let Slowbro avoid the OHKO from a Choice Specs-(remove hyphen)boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra, at full HP. Colbur Berry is the item of choice, that as it allows Slowbro to deal with a plethora of threats to Psychic-type teams; it can revenge kill Mega Gyarados and Mega Sharpedo with Grass Knot, revenge kill Bisharp with Fire blast Fire Blast, and paralyse paralyze Hoopa-U with Thunder Wave. Regenerator heals Slowbro everytime it switches out, allowing it to act as a great defensive pivot.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used as a defensive pivot, switching into physical attackers that it threatens, (AC) such as Mega Lopunny. With Regenerator, Slowbro can be used to switch into and scout Choice-locked foes with less of a negative repercussion, and then switch back out to the appropriate partner. The Colbur Berry should be preserved in matchups against threats such as Mega Gyarados, Mega Sharpedo, and Hoopa-U.S lowbro Slowbro should be careful when switching into Mega Sharpedo or Mega Gyarados on a prediction, as losing the berry early can be a death sentence. Thunder Wave should be used on threats such as Hoopa-U and an unweakened Mega Sharpedo. It also lets Slowbro neutralize sweepers in an emergency and allow its teammates to deal with it more easily. Grass Knot should be used to deal with Mega Gyarados as it generally runs Substitute or Taunt, rendering Thunder Wave useless. Slowbro should be wary of weak Dark-type moves from Pokemon like Mandibuzz, as it wastes the Colbur Berry.

In other matchups, it is recommended that Slowbro switch into Knock-Off and U-turn users which threaten Psychic-types, such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Choice Band Mamoswine, as it can check them exceptionally well with Colbur Berry. Residual damage from entry hazards, status or previous damage can prevent Slowbro from checking threats such as Choice Specs Hoopa-U, whose Dark Pulse already almost OHKOs Slowbro even at full HP. Therefore, Slowbro should avoid taking too much damage, and use Slack Off liberally to stay healthy. Slowbro shouldn't be left in against setup sweepers that it can't touch, such as Lum Berry Bisharp, which it cannot effectively check without Fire Blast, and Calm Mind Clefable.

Team Options
========
Many frail wallbreakers who are weak to priority moves, particularly Sucker Punch, appreciate Slowbro as a defensive partner. Mega Medicham can break through defensive Pokemon that normally wall or threaten Slowbro such as Chansey and Ferrothorn. Mega Gardevoir, in conjunction with Slowbro, can easily dismantle Dark-type teams. It can help preserve Slowbro's Colbur Berry by removing weaker Dark-types such as Mandibuzz. Mega Gardevoir also beats many Dragon-types which threaten Slowbro such as Latios and Dragalge. Choice Scarf Gardevoir can check the same Pokemon in addition to weather abusers that Slowbro cannot switch into such as Choice Band Excadrill and Choice Specs Kingdra. Hoopa-U is another wallbreaker that pairs well with Slowbro. Due to its frail Defense stat, Hoopa-U gets easily revenge killed by priority users such as Dragonite and Bisharp. Slowbro can easily switch into these priority moves and threaten them out with a burn or paralysis. Hoopa-U, in return, checks Ghost-types and Defensive walls that threaten Slowbro. Victini, especially the Choice Scarf variant, is also a really great partner to Slowbro as it can check Grass- and Bug-type Pokemon that threaten Slowbro such as Heracross and Volcarona. Choice Scarf Victini can also clean up a weakened Mega Gyarados with Bolt Strike, if Slowbro goes down before it can finish the job. Latios and Latias are great partners as they can Defog entry hazards, letting Slowbro switch into attacks more easily. This is particularly relevant due to the lack of passive recovery from Leftovers. Latias can also support Slowbro with Healing Wish. Both Latias and Latios can reliably check Keldeo, which Slowbro is worse at now due to the lack of Leftovers. Jirachi is a good defensive complement as it can easily switch into strong special moves that threaten Slowbro out, such as Draco Meteor or Hyper Voice from Latios and Mega Gardevoir, respectively, due to its great defensive typing. The stallbreaker set allows Mew to break defensive Pokemon that Slowbro cannot touch, such as Chansey and Porygon2. With significant Speed, Mew can cripple Bisharp and Mega Gyarados with Will-O-Wisp, lessening the pressure on Slowbro.

Moves
========
Scald is a Water-type STAB move that is extremely spammable, with a chance to cripple physical attackers with a burn. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable way to recover health, which combined with Regenerator makes Slowbro extremely hard to wear down. Fire Blast gives Slowbro coverage on Steel-type threats such as Mega Scizor, Bisharp, and Ferrothorn. Flamethrower can be an option, but deals significantly less damage to Bisharp. Thunder Wave is a general utility option which is used to cripple common Scald switch-ins Pokemon that can switch into Scald, and setup sweepers such as Hydreigon and Dragonite, and Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Victini and Kyurem-B.

Set Details
========
The investments in HP and Defense with a Bold nature maximize Slowbro's physical bulk, allowing it to switch into many physical attackers such as Choice Scarf Victini, Terrakion and Choice Scarf Kyurem-B. 24 EVs in Special Defense are given to live two Choice Specs boosted Hydro Pumps from Keldeo after Stealth Rock damage, and allows it to live a Choice Specs-boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra, at full. Leftovers gives Slowbro a form of passive recovery, letting it switch into physical attackers with more ease. Rocky Helmet is an option to punish physical attackers and break potential Focus Sashes or Multiscale on Dragonite. However, if Rocky Helmet is being used, a spread of 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SpD should be used as Slowbro can no longer check Keldeo. Rocky Helmet is especially useful in whittling down U-turn users such as Victini and Jirachi. Regenerator continually heals Slowbro whenever it switches out, letting it act as a great defensive pivot.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used to pivot into physical attackers, switching into Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Landorus-T. Regenerator should be used to let Slowbro scout Choice-locked foes, and then switch it out to an appropriate partner. Slowbro should spread status through Scald or Thunder Wave; it should use Thunder Wave on faster threats such as Hydreigon and Latios, and Scald on defensive switch-ins such as Porygon2 and Zapdos. By spreading status, these threats become a lot easier for Slowbro's teammates to handle. Slack Off should be used to keep Slowbro as healthy as possible so that it can switch into strong physical attackers such as Choice Band Mamoswine. Using Slack Off when Regenerator would have could've been sufficient can result in a loss of momentum, however. Slowbro , Slowbro should be kept away from status such as Toxic and burns, as it severely hinders its ability to switch into attacks. Therefore, Slowbro shouldn't be used to combat most walls as they can cripple it with status. If Rocky Helmet is being used, use its presence to deter opposing Fake Out and other priority users, such as Dragonite and Mega Medicham, from revenge killing teammates or U-turn users, such as Victini and Jirachi, from freely gaining momentum. It shouldn't be left in against to deal with Pokemon like Clefable and Mega Gyarados as it tends to become setup bait.

Team Options
========
Slowbro can fit well on all balanced teams as it's a great blanket check to most physical attackers. Specially Defensive Jirachi forms a great defensive core with Slowbro. Slowbro appreciates Jirachi's great typing as it can switch into Fairy-type Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie and Clefable, as well as being able to act as a one time Choice Scarf Heracross switch-in, threatening it with a Thunder Wave paralysis. Jirachi can also support Slowbro with Healing Wish. Jirachi appreciates having Slowbro to switch into certain Fire-type Pokemon such as Darmanitan, Victini and Entei, as well as Ground-type attacks from Pokemon like Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Choice Band Mamoswine. Mew is a great defensive complement to Slowbro, being able to switch into many special attacks used by Pokemon such as Landorus and Mega Gardevoir, that Slowbro doesn't like. The stallbreaker variant is particularly helpful in being able to beat defensive Pokemon which Slowbro cannot touch, such as Chansey and Porygon2. Mew can also Defog entry hazards, allowing Slowbro to switch into attacks more easily. Colbur Berry Celebi can check threats such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados. Celebi also acts as a great status absorber due to its ability: (add colon) Natural Cure.

Victini is a great partner to Slowbro. The Choice Scarf variant can run through Bug- and Grass-type teams, particularly checking threats like Volcarona and Heracross, which threaten Slowbro. It can also revenge kill a weakened +1 Mega Gyarados, that would otherwise use Slowbro as set up fodder. In return, Slowbro can switch into Pokemon that threaten Victini like Choice Scarf Terrakion, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and Specially Defensive Tyranitar. Hoopa-U appreciates having Slowbro to absorb weak U-turns and Knock Offs which threaten it. All variants of Hoopa-U can in turn beat Ghost-type Pokemon, like Gengar, that threaten Slowbro. The mixed variant with Substitute and Drain Punch, in particular, can check Bisharp, by playing mind-games with Sucker Punch. Hoopa-U can also check stallbreakers such as Gliscor and Mew along with walls such as Chansey and Porygon2. Mega Medicham appreciates having Slowbro to pivot into physical attackers like Mega Lopunny which threaten it due to its bad defenses. Conversely, Mega Medicham can easily break through common defensive Pokemon which give Slowbro a hard time, such as Lanturn, Porygon2, and Chansey. Mega Gardevoir is a very strong special wallbreaker which checks Dragon- and Dark-type Pokemon that threaten Slowbro, such as Latios and Hydreigon. Mega Gardevoir can switch into Gyarados prior to Mega Evolution, weakening it by copying Intimidate with Trace, and threatening it with Hyper Voice. Choice Scarf Gardevoir can check Dark- and Dragon-types along with weather abusers that Slowbro cannot switch into such as Choice Band Excadrill and Choice Specs Kingdra. In return, Slowbro can switch into common Gardevoir checks such as Terrakion and Jirachi. Latios, Latias and Mega Latias are good partners to Slowbro as they can Defog entry hazards allowing Slowbro to switch into attacks more easily. They can switch into Electric- and Grass-type attacks with incredible ease, while Slowbro can switch into Ice-type attackers such as Mamoswine and Cloyster. Latias can also support Slowbro with Healing Wish.

Moves
========
Calm Mind boosts Slowbro's Special Defense and Special Attack stat, which helps patch up its low Special Defense, turning it into a potent setup sweeper. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable form of recovery that gives it an easier time setting up. Scald is it's most spammable STAB move due to its chance to burn the foe. Psyshock allows Slowbro to win Calm Mind wars against other setup sweepers such as Clefable, hits Special walls such as Chansey, and gives Slowbro coverage on against Fighting- and Poison-types, particularly Mega Venusaur. Fire Blast is an alternate option which lets Slowbro break Steel-type teams. It can still somewhat check Mega Venusaur, but relies on many more boosts to do so. Flamethrower can also be run due to its high PP and better accuracy, but the drop in power is significant. Thunder Wave is a utility option that can be run over Psyshock or Fire Blast to cripple Pokemon that it pivots into, (AC) such as Choice Scarf Kyurem-B and Choice Band Terrakion.

Set Details
========
The given EV spread maximizes Slowbro's physical bulk, with enough Special Defense to take two Choice Specs- (remove hyphen)boosted Hydro Pumps from Keldeo, and one Choice Specs- (remove hyphen)boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra, at full HP. Regenerator is the ability of choice that allows Slowbro to act as a great defensive pivot, as it regains health everytime it switches out. Leftovers gives Slowbro a form of passive recovery that lets it switch into attacks more easily.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used as a defensive pivot early- and mid-game. It should switch into Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Choice Scarf Terrakion whom Slowbro can threaten with Scald or Psyshock. Slowbro should generally set up late-game when its checks, such as Mega Venusaur, are weakened so that it can clean up more easily. However, in some situations, Slowbro can set up at other points in the during game, and weaken some of the checks which generally switch into it such as Zapdos and Mega Venusaur. Slowbro should setup on physical attackers that it walls, such as Mega Lopunny and Terrakion, and Choice-locked Pokemon like Keldeo. Slowbro can bluff the defensive set and threaten Pokemon out with its Thunder Wave. This opportunity can be used to start setting up. Getting Scald burns on Slowbro's checks early-game can be especially effective and make it easier for it to find more setup opportunities. Slowbro utilizes double switches really well with this set, gaining the Regenerator recovery and putting pressure on it's checks. Slowbro should always be kept away from status, especially Toxic, as it continually whittles Slowbro down, making it harder to sweep successfully.

Team Options
========
Celebi is a great teammate to Slowbro. With a Colbur Berry, Celebi can check several threats which completely wall this set, (AC) such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados. It can also switch into Electric-type attacks, completely heal Slowbro with Healing Wish, absorb status thanks to Natural Cure, and cleanse status for Slowbro with Heal Bell. Jirachi is another good defensive partner to Slowbro as it can support it with Healing Wish, and switch into and check strong Fairy-types which break Slowbro such as Sylveon, Mega Gardevoir and Mega Diancie. Victini can take out Slowbro's checks such as Ferrothorn, Heracross, and Volcarona. It can also find more oppurtunities opportunities to set up by bringing it in safely with a U-turn. Mew, particularly the stallbreaker variant, can switch into several special attackers that threaten Slowbro, and can deal with walls that don't allow Slowbro to set up such as Zapdos. Mega Medicham pairs well with Slowbro as it can get rid of Pokemon that wall Slowbro, such as Ferrothorn, with its strong STAB attack in High Jump Kick. Mega Gardevoir can break through walls and Dark-types that threaten Slowbro, such as Mega Venusaur and Hydreigon respectively (you should use "respecitvely" as you are referring Mega Venusaur as a wall and referring Hydreigon as a Dark-type altogether which requires respectively to show that the Pokemon mentioned aren't both walls and Dark-types), with its strong STAB moves, (AC) allowing Slowbro to set up more easily. Choice Scarf Gardevoir can get rid of weather abusers such as Excadrill and Kingdra along with Dark- and Dragon-types. Hoopa-U is an extremely strong wallbreaker that can deal with a plethora of threats to Slowbro, such as Mega Venusaur, Zapdos, Ferrothorn, and Doublade, and Ghost-types in general, with its strong STAB and coverage moves. Latios can help weaken Slowbro's checks, and can easily switch into Grass- and Electric-type moves that threaten it. It can also Defog entry hazards, letting Slowbro take less residual damage before setting up. Gothitelle deserves a mention due to its ability to trap and remove many threats such as Zapdos and Toxic-using walls such as Chansey Toxic using walls, such as Chansey.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
**Psychic**:

Trick Room is an option over Thunder Wave on slower teams. It can make use of Slowbro's great bulk in order to almost always guarantee a Trick Room, and Slowbro can be paired with strong wallbreakers such as Mega Gardevoir, Hoopa-U and Victini in order to abuse the Trick Room. Ice Beam is a coverage option that can be explored on the defensive set to lure in and KO Pokemon like Dragonite and Landorus. Toxic can be considered over Thunder Wave as it allows Slowbro to whittle down defensive walls such as Chansey which defensive Slowbro cannot touch; however, Psychic-type teams prefer Slowbro cripple faster threats such as Kyurem-B with paralysis, allowing wallbreakers such as Mega Medicham, and Latios clean up more easily.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Psychic**:

**Super-Effective Coverage**: Common coverage moves, such as Fusion Bolt from Life Orb Kyurem-B, Solar Beam from Mega Charizard Y, and Thunderbolt from Mega Latias, all deal massive damage to Slowbro, some even OHKOing it.

**Special Wallbreakers**: Most special wallbreakers, such as Latios, Dragalge, and Mega Gardevoir, can take advantage of Slowbro's mediocre Special Defense and put a dent on it with their strong STAB attacks; however, they hate being paralysed by Thunder Wave.

**Status**: Status conditions such as burns and Toxic limit Slowbro's ability to switch into physical attackers. Toxic, in particular, puts Slowbro on a timer and doesn't allow it to stall out Pokemon with Slack Off.

**Stallbreakers**: Stallbreakers like Gliscor and Mew can cripple Slowbro with Taunt, preventing it from recovering health, status it, and continually recover health with Roost.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon, such as Serperior, Mega Venusaur, and Rotom-C, can both switch into and OHKO Slowbro with their Grass-type STAB moves.

**Electric -types**: Electric-types like Mega Manectric, Magnezone and Raikou can easily KO Slowbro with their strong Electric-type STAB moves, and are immune to Thunder Wave. Volt Switch also allows Electric-types to take advantage of Slowbro and quickly gain momentum.

**Bug-types**: Bug-type Pokemon, such as Volcarona, Scolipede and Heracross, can deal a huge chunk of damage with their STAB moves; however, most of them do not like switching into a Scald.

**Dragon-types**: Dragon-type Pokemon, such as Latios and Hydreigon, aren't bothered by Slowbro's STAB and coverage moves, and can retaliate with their strong STAB moves; however, they need to be wary of Thunder Wave.

**Ghost-types**: Offensive Ghost-types such as Chandelure and Gengar can easily KO Slowbro with their strong STAB Shadow Ball, but need to be wary of Thunder Wave. Defensive Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL and Jellicent can easily switch into Slowbro and slowly whittle it down with Will-O-Wisp and Toxic, respectively.

**Dark-types**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Sharpedo and Hoopa-U can KO Slowbro with their strong Dark-type STAB moves; however, they need to play around the Colbur Berry set.

In other matchups, it is recommended that Slowbro switch into Knock-(hyphen)Off and U-turn users which that threaten Psychic-types, such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Choice Band Mamoswine, as it can check them exceptionally well with Colbur Berry. Residual damage from entry hazards, status or previous damage attacks can prevent Slowbro from checking threats such as Choice Specs Hoopa-U, whose Dark Pulse already almost OHKOs Slowbro even at full HP.

Slowbro can easily switch into these priority moves and threaten them out with a burn or paralysis. Hoopa-U, in return, checks Ghost-types and Defensive walls that threaten Slowbro. (I consider my rewrite to have better cohesion) Victini, especially the Choice Scarf variant, is also a really great partner to Slowbro as it can check by checking the Grass- and Bug-type Pokemon that threaten Slowbro such as Heracross and Volcarona. Scald is a Water-type STAB move that is extremely spammable, with a good chance to cripple physical attackers with a burn. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable way to recover health, which when combined with Regenerator makes Slowbro extremely hard to wear down. Fire Blast gives Slowbro coverage on for Steel-type threats such as Mega Scizor, Bisharp, and Ferrothorn. Regenerator continually heals Slowbro whenever it switches out, letting it act as a great defensive pivot.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used to pivot into physical attackers, (comma) switching into Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Landorus-T. Regenerator should be used to let Slowbro scout Choice-locked foes, and then switch it out to an appropriate partner. Slowbro should spread status through Scald or Thunder Wave;, (semicolon) (comma) using it should use Thunder Wave on faster threats such as Hydreigon and Latios, and Scald on defensive switch-ins such as Porygon2 and Zapdos. Jirachi appreciates having Slowbro to switch into certain Fire-type Pokemon such as Darmanitan, Victini and Entei, as well as Ground-type attacks from Pokemon like Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Choice Band Mamoswine. Mew is a great defensive complement to Slowbro, being able to switch into many special attacks used by from Pokemon such as Landorus and Mega Gardevoir, that which Slowbro doesn't like to do. The stallbreaker variant is particularly helpful in being able to beat defensive Pokemon which that Slowbro cannot touch, such as Chansey and Porygon2. Mew can also Defog away entry hazards, allowing Slowbro to switch into attacks more easily. Colbur Berry Celebi can check threats such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados. Celebi in general also acts as a great status absorber due to its ability: (add colon) (no, don't) Natural Cure.

Victini is a great partner to Slowbro. The Choice Scarf variant can run through Bug- and Grass-type teams, particularly in particular checking threats like Volcarona and Heracross, which threaten Slowbro. It can also revenge kill a weakened +1 Mega Gyarados, that which would otherwise use Slowbro as set(space)up fodder. In return, Slowbro can switch into Pokemon that threaten Victini like Choice Scarf Terrakion, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and Specially Defensive specially defensive Tyranitar. Hoopa-U appreciates having Slowbro to absorb weak the U-turns and Knock Offs which that threaten it. All variants of Hoopa-U can in turn beat Ghost-type Pokemon, (comma) like Gengar, (comma) that threaten Slowbro. The mixed variant with Substitute and Drain Punch, (comma) in particular, (comma) can also check Bisharp, (comma) by playing mind-(hyphen)games with Sucker Punch. Calm Mind boosts Slowbro's Special Defense and Special Attack stats, which helps patch up its low Special Defense, (comma) turning and turns it into a potent setup sweeper. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable form of recovery that and gives it an easier time setting up. Scald is it's its most spammable STAB move due to its chance to burn the foe. Psyshock allows Slowbro to win Calm Mind wars against other setup sweepers such as Clefable, hits Special special walls such as Chansey, and gives Slowbro coverage on against for Fighting- and Poison-types, particularly Mega Venusaur. Fire Blast is an alternate option which alternative that lets Slowbro break Steel-type teams. It can still somewhat check Mega Venusaur, but relies must rely on many more boosts to do so. Flamethrower can also be run due to its higher PP and better accuracy, but the drop in power is significant. Thunder Wave is a utility option that can be run over Psyshock or Fire Blast to cripple Pokemon that it pivots into, (AC) such as Choice Scarf Kyurem-B and Choice Band Terrakion.

The given EV spread maximizes Slowbro's physical bulk, with enough Special Defense to take two Choice Specs- (remove hyphen)(keep)boosted Hydro Pumps from Keldeo, (comma) and one Choice Specs- (remove hyphen)(keep)boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra,(comma) at full HP. Regenerator is the ability of choice, (comma) that allows allowing Slowbro to act as a great defensive pivot, (comma) as it regains by recovering health every(space)time it switches out. Leftovers gives Slowbro a form of passive recovery that lets it switch into attacks more easily.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used as a defensive pivot early- and mid-game. It should switch into Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Choice Scarf Terrakion whom Slowbro that it can threaten with Scald or Psyshock. Slowbro should generally set up late-game when its checks, such as Mega Venusaur, are at least weakened so that it can clean up more easily. However, in some situations, Slowbro can set up at other points in the during the game, and weaken some of the checks which that generally switch into it such as Zapdos and Mega Venusaur. Slowbro should setup on physical attackers that it walls, such as Mega Lopunny and Terrakion, and Choice-locked Pokemon like Keldeo. Slowbro can bluff the defensive set and threaten Pokemon out with its a possible Thunder Wave. This opportunity can be used to start setting up. Getting Scald burns on Slowbro's checks early-game can be especially effective and make it easier for it to find more setup opportunities. Slowbro utilizes double switches really well with this set, gaining the Regenerator recovery and putting pressure on it's its checks. Slowbro should always be kept away from status, especially Toxic, as it continually whittles Slowbro down, making it harder to sweep successfully.

Team Options
========
Jirachi is another good defensive partner to Slowbro, (comma) as it can support it with Healing Wish, (comma) and as well as switch into and check strong Fairy-types which break that beat Slowbro such as Sylveon, Mega Gardevoir and Mega Diancie. Victini can take out Slowbro's checks such as Ferrothorn, Heracross, and Volcarona. It can also find more oppurtunities opportunities for Slowbro to set up by bringing it in safely with a U-turn. Mew, particularly the stallbreaker variant, can switch into several special attackers that threaten Slowbro, and can deal with walls that don't allow Slowbro to set up such as Zapdos. Mega Medicham pairs well with Slowbro, (comma) as it can get rid of Pokemon that wall Slowbro, such as Ferrothorn, with its strong STAB attack in High Jump Kick. Mega Gardevoir can break through walls and Dark-types that threaten Slowbro, such as Mega Venusaur and Hydreigon, (comma) respectively (you should use "respecitvely" as you are referring Mega Venusaur as a wall and referring Hydreigon as a Dark-type altogether which requires respectively to show that the Pokemon mentioned aren't both walls and Dark-types), with its strong STAB moves, (AC) allowing Slowbro to set up more easily. Choice Scarf Gardevoir can get rid of weather abusers sweepers such as Excadrill and Kingdra along with Dark- and Dragon-types. Hoopa-U is an extremely strong wallbreaker that can deal with a plethora of threats to Slowbro, such as Mega Venusaur, Zapdos, Ferrothorn, and Doublade, and Ghost-types in general, (comma) with its strong STAB and coverage moves. Latios can help weaken Slowbro's checks, and can easily switch into Grass- and Electric-type moves that threaten it. It can also Defog away entry hazards, letting Slowbro take less residual damage before setting up. Gothitelle deserves a mention due to its ability to trap and remove many threats such as Zapdos and Toxic-using walls such as Chansey Toxic using walls running Toxic, such as Chansey.

Other Options

**Psychic**:

Trick Room is an option over Thunder Wave on slower teams. It can make use of Slowbro's great bulk in order to almost always guarantee a Trick Room it gets set up, and Slowbro can be paired with strong wallbreakers such as Mega Gardevoir, Hoopa-U and Victini in order to abuse the Trick Room best take advantage of it. Ice Beam is a coverage option that can be explored used on the defensive set to lure in and KO Pokemon like Dragonite and Landorus. Toxic can be considered over Thunder Wave, (comma) as it allows Slowbro to whittle down defensive walls such as Chansey which that defensive Slowbro cannot touch; however, Psychic-type teams prefer Slowbro cripple crippling faster threats such as Kyurem-B with paralysis, allowing wallbreakers such as Mega Medicham, (comma) and Latios to clean up more easily.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Psychic**:

**Super-(hyphen)Effective Coverage**: Common coverage moves, such as Fusion Bolt from Life Orb Kyurem-B, Solar Beam from Mega Charizard Y, and Thunderbolt from Mega Latias, all deal massive damage to Slowbro, some even OHKOing it.

**Special Wallbreakers**: Most special wallbreakers, such as Latios, Dragalge, and Mega Gardevoir, can take advantage of Slowbro's mediocre Special Defense and put a dent on in it with their strong STAB attacks; however, they hate being paralysed paralyzed by Thunder Wave.

**Status**: Status conditions such as burns and Toxic limit Slowbro's ability to switch into physical attackers. Toxic, (comma) in particular, (comma) puts Slowbro on a timer and doesn't allow it to stall prevents it from stalling out Pokemon with Slack Off.

**Stallbreakers**: Stallbreakers like Gliscor and Mew can cripple Slowbro with Taunt, preventing which prevents it from recovering health, inflict status on it, and continually recover health with Roost.

**Dragon-types**: Dragon-type Pokemon, such as Latios and Hydreigon, aren't bothered by Slowbro's STAB and or coverage moves, and can retaliate with their own strong STAB moves; however, they need to be wary of Thunder Wave.

[OVERVIEW]
**Psychic**:
Slowbro is easily the best option for a physical wall on Psychic-type teams. It's Its excellent physical bulk allows it to switch into physical attackers, such as Terrakion and Landorus-T, and threaten them with Scald or Thunder Wave. Slowbro's bulk also allows it to tank U-turn, which Psychic-type teams are especially weak to. Because it Slowbro (don't think you should start a sentence with "Because") (Keep: it's actually fine; starting with words like "and" or "but" is where problems arise) acts as a blanket check to physical attackers, Slowbro as it (ignore this as well) supports offensive Psychic-types really well, (comma) as they tend to have a low Defense stat. Slowbro has access to Regenerator, which recovers health everytime it switches out, (you don't really need to explain this stuff) making it a great defensive pivot. It also has access to reliable recovery in Slack Off, making it a great defensive wall in general and maximizes maximizing its setup sweeping potential. It has a decent base 100 Special Attack stat for a bulky Water-type.; (period) (semicolon) This this paired with Slowbro's good coverage moves such as Fire Blast, Grass Knot, and Ice Beam makes it a potent setup sweeper with Calm Mind. However, Slowbro's lackluster Special Defense makes it vulnerable to common special attackers such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Charizard Y, and Mega Pidgeot. It's Its useful Water typing allows it to act as a great check to Water-types such as Kingdra and Keldeo, which would otherwise break through Psychic-type teams with their powerful STAB Hydro Pump; however, it adds a weakness to Electric- and Grass-type moves, allowing Pokemon like Thundurus and Breloom to check it effectively. It has a terrible Speed stat, (comma) which leaves leaving it outsped by almost the entire metagame and makes it vulnerable to Taunt. Slowbro is also very weak to status ailments such as burn and poison, (comma) as it hinders they hinder its ability to act as a defensive pivot.

Scald is an extremely spammable STAB move due to its chance to burn the foe. Grass Knot is Slowbro's preferred coverage move, (comma) which, (comma) in conjunction with Colbur Berry, (comma) allows it to handle several threats to Psychic-type teams such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados, as well as Pokemon such as Gastrodon and Seismitoad which that would otherwise wall Slowbro. Thunder Wave gives Slowbro utility in paralysing paralyzing faster Pokemon and Scald switch-ins Pokemon that can switch into Scald, (ignore, switch-in is used appropriately) such as Choice Scarf Victini and Latios, respectively, and as well as certain threats such as Mega Sharpedo and Hydreigon. Alternatively, other coverage options can be run; Fire Blast to hit hits Bisharp, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor, and whereas Ice Beam to hit hits Dragon-types in general. It's fine to drop Thunder Wave, (comma) as Slowbro has the coverage to check the Pokemon Thunder Wave hits targets, primarily Mega Sharpedo. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable form of recovery, allowing it to stay healthy to check Dark-types.

The investments in HP and Defense along with a Bold nature allows Slowbro to switch into and check many physical attackers such as Choice Band Terrakion and Mega Gallade. 12 EVs in Special Defense let Slowbro, (comma) when at full HP, avoid the OHKO from a Choice Specs-(remove hyphen)(nope, keep)boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra, at full HP. The Colbur Berry should be preserved in matchups against threats such as Mega Gyarados, Mega Sharpedo, and Hoopa-U. S lowbro Slowbro should be careful when switching into Mega Sharpedo or Mega Gyarados on a prediction, as losing the berry early can be a death sentence. Thunder Wave should be used on threats such as Hoopa-U and an unweakened healthy Mega Sharpedo. It also lets Slowbro neutralize sweepers in an emergency and allow its teammates to deal with it more easily. Grass Knot should be used to deal with Mega Gyarados, (comma) as it generally runs Substitute or Taunt, rendering Thunder Wave useless. Usage Tips

Celebi is a great teammate to Slowbro. With a Colbur Berry, Celebi can check several threats which completely wall this set, (AC) such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados. It can also switch into Electric-type attacks, completely heal Slowbro with Healing Wish, absorb status thanks to Natural Cure, and cleanse status for Slowbro with Heal Bell.

Moves
========

Set Details
========
The investment in HP and Defense along with a Bold nature allows Slowbro to switch into and check many physical attackers such as Choice Band Terrakion and Mega Gallade. 12 EVs in Special Defense let Slowbro, when at full HP, (redundant) avoid the OHKO from a Choice Specs-boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra. Colbur Berry is the item of choice, as it allows Slowbro to deal with a plethora of threats to Psychic-type teams; with Colbur Berry, it can revenge kill Mega Gyarados and Mega Sharpedo with Grass Knot, revenge kill Bisharp with Fire Blast, and paralyze Hoopa-U with Thunder Wave without fear of taking significant damage from a Dark-type move. (should be specific imo) Regenerator heals Slowbro every time it switches out, allowing it to act as a great defensive pivot.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be careful when switching into Mega Sharpedo or Mega Gyarados on a prediction, as losing the berry Berry early can be a death sentence. Thunder Wave should be used on threats such as Hoopa-U and healthy Mega Sharpedo. It also lets Slowbro neutralize sweepers in an emergency and allow its teammates to deal with it them more easily.

Residual damage from entry hazards, status, (AC) or previous attacks can prevent Slowbro from checking threats such as Choice Specs Hoopa-U, whose Dark Pulse already almost OHKOs Slowbro even at full HP. Therefore, Slowbro should avoid taking too much damage, (RC) and use Slack Off liberally to stay healthy. Slowbro shouldn't be left in against setup sweepers that it can't touch, such as Lum Berry Bisharp, which it cannot effectively check without Fire Blast, and Calm Mind Clefable.

Team Options
========
Victini, especially the a Choice Scarf variant, is also a really great partner to Slowbro by checking the Grass- and Bug-type Pokemon that threaten Slowbro such as Rotom-C, Heracross, (AC) and Volcarona.

Moves

Scald is an extremely spammable Water-type STAB move that is extremely spammable, with a good chance to cripple physical attackers with a burn. Slack Off is Slowbro's most reliable way to recover health, which, (AC) when combined with Regenerator, (AC) makes Slowbro extremely hard to wear down. Fire Blast gives Slowbro coverage for Steel-type threats such as Mega Scizor, Bisharp, and Ferrothorn. Flamethrower can be used to provide a more accurate option, but it deals significantly less damage to Bisharp. Thunder Wave is a general utility option that is used to cripple common Scald switch-ins (such as?), setup sweepers such as Hydreigon and Dragonite, and Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Victini and Kyurem-B.

Set Details
========
The investment in HP and Defense with a Bold nature maximizes Slowbro's physical bulk, allowing it to switch into many physical attackers such as Choice Scarf Victini, Terrakion, and Choice Scarf Kyurem-B. 24 EVs in Special Defense are given used to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs-boosted Hydro Pump from Keldeo after Stealth Rock damage, (RC) and allow it to live survive a Choice Specs-boosted Draco Meteor from Kingdra if at full HP. Leftovers gives Slowbro a form of passive recovery, letting it switch into physical attackers with more ease easily. Rocky Helmet is an option to punish physical attackers and break potential Focus Sashes as well as Dragonite's Multiscale on Dragonite. However, if Rocky Helmet is being used, a spread of 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SpD should be used run, as Slowbro cannot no longer check Keldeo with the listed spread. Rocky Helmet is especially useful in whittling down U-turn users such as Victini and Jirachi. Regenerator continually heals Slowbro whenever it switches out, letting it act as a great defensive pivot.

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used to pivot into physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny and Landorus-T. Regenerator should be used taken advantage of to let Slowbro scout Choice-locked foes, (RC) and then switch it out to an appropriate partner. Slowbro should spread status through Scald or Thunder Wave, using Thunder Wave on faster threats such as Hydreigon and Latios, (RC) and Scald on defensive switch-ins such as Porygon2 and Zapdos. If Rocky Helmet is being used, use its presence to deter opposing users of Fake Out and other priority moves, such as Dragonite and Mega Medicham, from revenge killing teammates, (AC) or to preventing U-turn users, such as Victini and Jirachi, from freely gaining momentum. Slowbro shouldn't be left in against Pokemon like Clefable and Mega Gyarados, as it tends to become setup bait.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon, such as Serperior, Mega Venusaur, and Rotom-C, can both switch into Slowbro and OHKO Slowbro it with their Grass-type STAB moves.

**Electric -types**: Electric-types like Mega Manectric, Magnezone, (AC) and Raikou can easily KO Slowbro with their strong Electric-type STAB moves, (RC) and are immune to Thunder Wave. Volt Switch also allows Electric-types to take advantage of Slowbro and gain momentum.

**Bug-types**: Bug-type Pokemon, such as Volcarona, Scolipede, (AC) and Heracross, can deal a huge chunk of damage with their STAB moves; however, most of them do not like switching into a Scald.

**Dragon-types**: Dragon-type Pokemon, such as Latios and Hydreigon, aren't bothered by Slowbro's STAB or coverage moves, (RC) and can retaliate with their own strong STAB moves; however, they need to be wary of Thunder Wave.

**Ghost-types**: Offensive Ghost-types such as Chandelure and Gengar can easily KO Slowbro with their strong STAB Shadow Ball, (RC) but need to be wary of Thunder Wave. Defensive Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL and Jellicent can easily switch into Slowbro and slowly whittle it down with Will-O-Wisp and Toxic, respectively.

**Dark-types**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Sharpedo, (AC) and Hoopa-U can KO Slowbro with their strong Dark-type STAB moves; however, they need to play around the Colbur Berry set.

Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

========
Victini, especially the a Choice Scarf variant, is also a really great partner to Slowbro by checking the Grass- and Bug-type Pokemon that threaten Slowbro such as Rotom-C, Heracross, (AC) and Volcarona.

Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

Team Options
========
Slowbro can fit well on all balanced teams, as it's a great blanket check to most physical attackers. Specially defensive Jirachi forms a great defensive core with Slowbro. Slowbro appreciates Jirachi's great typing and support moves, as it can switch into Fairy-type Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, (AC) and Clefable, can act as a one-time Choice Scarf Heracross switch-in, threatening it with Thunder Wave, and can also support Slowbro with Healing Wish. Jirachi appreciates having Slowbro to switch into certain Fire-type Pokemon such as Darmanitan, Victini, (AC) and Entei, as well as Ground-type attacks from Pokemon like Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Choice Band Mamoswine.

The Choice Scarf variant can run through Bug- and Grass-type teams, in particular notably checking threats like Volcarona and Heracross, which threaten Slowbro. All In return, variants of Hoopa-U can in turn beat Ghost-type Pokemon like Gengar that threaten Slowbro. Latios, Latias, (AC) and Mega Latias are good partners to Slowbro, (AC) as they can Defog away entry hazards, allowing Slowbro to switch into attacks more easily. They also can switch into Electric- and Grass-type attacks with incredible ease, while Slowbro can switch into Ice-type attackers such as Mamoswine and Cloyster. Latias can also support Slowbro with Healing Wish.

Moves
========
Thunder Wave is a utility option that can be run over Psyshock or Fire Blast to cripple Pokemon that it Slowbro pivots into, such as Choice Scarf Kyurem-B and Choice Band Terrakion.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========
Slowbro should be used as a defensive pivot early- and mid-game. It should switch into Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Choice Scarf Terrakion that it can threaten with Scald or Psyshock. Slowbro should generally set up late-game when its checks, such as Mega Venusaur, are at(space)least weakened so that it can clean up more easily. However, in some situations, Slowbro can set up at other points during the game, (RC) and weaken some of the checks that generally switch into it such as Zapdos and Mega Venusaur. Slowbro should setup on physical attackers that it walls, such as Mega Lopunny and Terrakion, and Choice-locked Pokemon like Keldeo. Slowbro can bluff the a defensive set and threaten Pokemon out with a possible Thunder Wave to create an. This opportunity can be used to start setting up.

========
Celebi is a great teammate to Slowbro. With a Colbur Berry, Celebi can check several threats which that completely wall this set, such as Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gyarados. It can also switch into Electric-type attacks, completely heal Slowbro with Healing Wish, absorb status thanks to Natural Cure, and cleanse status for Slowbro of status with Heal Bell. Jirachi is another good defensive partner to Slowbro, as it can support it with Healing Wish as well as switch into and check strong Fairy-types that beat Slowbro such as Sylveon, Mega Gardevoir, (AC) and Mega Diancie. Victini can take out Slowbro's checks such as Ferrothorn, Heracross, and Volcarona. It can also find create more opportunities for Slowbro to set up by bringing it in safely with U-turn. Mew, particularly the stallbreaker variant, can switch into several special attackers that threaten Slowbro, (RC) and can deal with walls that don't allow Slowbro to set up such as Zapdos. Mega Medicham pairs well with Slowbro, as it can get rid of Pokemon that wall Slowbro, such as Ferrothorn, with its strong STAB attack in High Jump Kick. Latios can help weaken Slowbro's checks, (RC) and can easily switch into Grass- and Electric-type moves that threaten it.

=============
**Psychic**:

Trick Room is an option over Thunder Wave on slower teams. It can make use of Slowbro's great bulk in order to almost always guarantee it gets set up, and Slowbro can be paired with strong wallbreakers such as Mega Gardevoir, Hoopa-U, (AC) and Victini in order to best take advantage of it. Ice Beam is a coverage option that can be used on the defensive set to lure in and KO Pokemon like Dragonite and Landorus. Toxic can be considered over Thunder Wave, as it allows Slowbro to whittle down defensive walls such as Chansey that defensive Slowbro cannot touch; however, Psychic-type teams prefer Slowbro crippling faster threats such as Kyurem-B with paralysis, allowing wallbreakers such as Mega Medicham and Latios to clean up more easily.
