Maybe in a 'What is the most situational/useless Move contest' with moves like Present. :P

I have to agree with this. This isn't just situational, it's "go out of your way and put yourself at an uneccessary disadvantage for very little relative payoff" situational.

Magnetic Flux is a straight +1 boost to Def. and Sp. Def.

The only possible users in a competitive environment are Ampharos, Klinklang and Manetric. Even then, it prevents Manetric from mega evolving on the first turn. Ampharos and Klinklang in doubles has some potential though. Ampharos is reasonably strong with its mega evo and can buff Klinklang (But hey, if you mega evolve you're losing the boost from Minus). Klinklang has shift gear as well. It could be ok I suppose.
