Hello! Welcome to Little Cup Research Week (or LCRW) This is a project aimed to discover the potential of Pokemon in Little Cup that may or may not see the usage they truly deserve. Each week, 3 Pokemon will be chosen and you have an entire week to discuss the Pokemon selected. Here are a few ground rules when discussing the Pokemon
•Please stay on topic, don't go discussing any pokemon other than the Pokemon selected for the research week. DO NOT use this thread to suggest Pokemon for future research weeks; pm me instead.
•When discussing the Pokemon feel free to talk about its strengths, weaknesses and its role in the metagame. Make sure you have a reason behind the things you say about a particular Pokemon. This will help people understand what your are trying to say. Saying something like "I didn't like using Foongus because it's ugly and atrocious" and giving little to no reason behind it is unacceptable.
This project will also have a ladder challenge! Feel free to post a new alt and the Pokémon(s) you are using. Anyone that reaches in the

Now for this week's Pokémon:
Minccino is quite often called a worse Aipom despite it having slightly more power and still retaining many of the traits Aipom itself has, save speed, Fake Out, and some bulk. However, do these three things make it a constantly inferior Aipom, or does it have the ability to be useful?
Darumaka is quite the nuke; Hustle is both a blessing and a curse for this little monster. Hustle boosted Flare Blitz dents anything not possessing Flash Fire, but the 80% accuracy makes it unreliable. Additionally, the only sets Darumaka gets to see are Choice Sets; does it have the ability to run anything else? Or is it destined to be retained as a threat unable to stay consistent?
Larvitar has its potential laying in Guts and Dragon Dance as well as its STAB EdgeQuake coverage; however its typing brings flaws defensively, making it seem rather unappealing. Is Larvitar able to surmount its position of being terrible through raw power? Or is this pokemon truly unsalvageable?
