Well it's better to have no runs at the mountains, that two freaking runs WITHOUT ANY POKEMON IN IT.

I swear i thought the area was glotched and only made berries appear, until i found tyroque at the sixth step of my second run.

I did my first run in Rugged Mountain, I encounted Beldum, Tyrogue and Skorupi. I didn't get any special moves on Beldum or Tyrogue (the former had its starting move Take Down, the latter only had Fake Out) however Skorupi can have Aqua Tail, which was formerly available from PtHGSS Move Tutors.

I also picked up a Pinap and two Magost berries.

After this PGL gave me the Forest twice and Sparkling Sea twice, so I didn't get to go into Rugged Mountain again. Hope this info helps.

I think there is some merit to that claim, as earlier I encountered a Seel in the Sparkling Sea... I thought little of it at the time because I was focused on the new area, but if we encounter others then yeah I guess we have other new Pokes.

GameFAQs users report Seel and Chinchou as well, but those are also in the Sparkling Sea. Now I wish I actually went through the Pleasant Forest when the game sent me there.

I shouls have explored the sky when i was there too.
But got 3 moutains and two spooky mansion(and found nothing new in there)
I got the forest when it dryed out.
