========
- kangaskhans ability scrappy ability allows it to spam its normal stab freely
- double priority in fake out+sucker punch means it can act as a revenge killer
- needs opposing team weakened so it can successfully revenge kill
- gets checked by common bulky normal resists (rhydon,steelix) because of their high defense even with earthquake
- worn down easily because of recoil from double edge and hazards
- with its average speed tier it leaves it easily revenge killed by common sweepers that resist sucker punch (Virizion, choice scarf Emboar)
move 1: Fake Out
move 2: Double Edge
move 3: Sucker Punch
move 4: Earthquake
item: Silk Scarf
ability: Scrappy
nature: Adamant/Jolly
evs: 252 Atk/ 4 Def/ 252 Spe
Moves
========
- dual priority help pick off weakened and frail foes like sneasel and vivillon
- Fake Out gives Kangaskhan a free turn due to flinch
- Sucker Punch can knock out weakened foes that set up
- Double Edge is the strongest stab available
- earthquake is essential to hit steel and rock types like steelix, rhydon and regirock for super effective damage
- aqua tail is an option to hit rhydon harder that still hits steelix super effectively
========
- adamant to maximize power in exchange for speed
- jolly is an option in order to outspeed pokemon such as Life Orb Medicham and Choice specs rotom-mow but generally the power is more important
- Silk Scarf to boost its stab even further whilst avoiding more recoil from life orb
- with scrappy kangaskhan can freely spam normal type moves without fearing a ghost type switching in
========
- should be used as a revenge killer
- try to keep it healthy if opponent has a frail set up sweeper, so it can be dealt with accordingly if it gets out of hand
- it can dent bulkier teams with its good attack stat
- vs ghost types the possibility of an incoming will-o-wisp (to avoid sucker punch), should be taken into consideration
- early game kangskhan should click fake out ideally with toxic spikes up to weaken the opposing team for it or another cleaner to finish the game
- once the opponents team is weakened enough kangaskhan can freely start attacking without clicking fake out
========
- kangaskhan works well with hazard support as it weakens the opponents team helping it to clean (especially toxic spikes because toxic damage+fake out rack up) in particular garbodor works well with kangaskhan as it sets hazards and takes fighting type moves reliably
- slowbro is a great partner to kangaskhan as it help check fighting types and it can handle bulky rock types
- wallbreakers that can break kangaskhans checks such as clawitzer, samurott or life orb Hitmonlee make good partners
- kangaskhan often helps wear down the opponents team, so a set up sweeper like lilligant can win easier
- kangaskhan also appreciates a way to deal with slowbro, so partners like rotom mow or sceptile can pair well because they can deal significant damage slowbro even after a calm mind boost
- xatu is a good partner as it helps handle golbat and steelix
Other Options
=============
- Assault Vest is an option but it loses a lot of power
- power up punch, passes on a potential coverage move or priority, which leaves it vulnerable to steel and rock types, or hinders its ability to revenge kill if you give up priority for it
- return can be used over double edge to avoid recoil, comes with a drop in power, missing a 2 hit ko on defensive Vileplume, Aromatisse after rocks and on offensive qwilfish sets
- whirlpool+seismic toss/power up punch on kangaskhan with rest and the ability early bird is an option as it helps deal with pokemon such as steelix or rhydon, trapping and weakening it, while having the ability to recover itself with a one turn rest
- Groundium Z and Waterium Z give it the ability to power up its earthquake or Aqua tail to get a powerful Z move off
- Fire Punch is an option to hit ferroseed and wormadam trash for super effective damage
===================
- **Steel types**: Steelix in particular troubles Kangaskhan, because kangaskhan fails to do significant damage to it and either gets attacked back or toxiced, also wormadam-trash and ferroseed trouble kangaskhan resisting its stab and not being hit super effectively by eq
- **Rock types**: rhydon and regirock give kangaskhan trouble because of their immense physical bulk and their resistance to normal type moves, also rock types like barbaracle or lycanrock care little about normal stab and outspeed to deal massive damage to kangaskhan
- **Slowbro**: slowbro gives kangaskhan a hard time, because it just recovers the damage off and pressures it with potential scald burns or toxic
- **Golbat**: Golbat can take on Kangaskhan reliably thanks to its good physical bulk and neutral damage to all moves kangaskhan runs
- **Rocky Helmet**: Druddigon with Rough Skin rocky Helmet or Garbodor with Rocky Helmet+Aftermath pressure Kangaskhan with recoil
- **Fighting types**: hard hitting fighting types such as Emboar, Hitmonlee and Medicham and can easily revenge kill kangaskhan if it is not jolly or if they are scarfed, also be careful about hitmonlee's mach punch
