Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Def / 12 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Spikes
- Toxic
- Protect

Gliscor has returned to OU, making an impact as one of the best Spikes setters and competing against fellow bulky Ground-type Ting-Lu. Toxic punishes a multitude of Pokemon that would otherwise take advantage of Gliscor such as Iron Defense Zamazenta and Tera Flying Kingambit; it also racks up chip damage alongside Spikes. Additionally, it improves Gliscor's matchup against Great Tusk, wearing it down in order to keep Spikes up. Protect is used to safely activate Toxic Orb, preventing Gliscor from being dissuaded by Knock Off or Will-O-Wisp; it also racks up passive healing with Poison Heal and Toxic damage on the foe. Tera Water is used to turn Gliscor's Ice- and Water-type weaknesses into resistances, improving its matchup against Hisuian Samurott and Great Tusk with Ice Spinner. Gliscor naturally fits on bulky offense and balance teams. Alomomola and Clefable act as excellent Wish passers to keep Gliscor healthy throughout the game; the former covers its Ice- and Water-type weaknesses, while the latter can use Stealth Rock to form an entry hazard-stacking core with it. Gholdengo and Dragapult can both block Rapid Spin; the former also blocks Defog, and they also both take advantage of Spikes wearing down the opposition.

Gliscor has returned to OU, making an impact as one of the best Spikes setters, rivalling fellow bulky Ground-type Ting-Lu. Toxic punish a multitude of Pokemon who would otherwise take advantage of Gliscor such as Iron Defense Zamazenta or Moonlight Ursaluna-Bloodmoon, it also racks up chip damage alongside Spikes. I think here you could add how Toxic also enhances its matchup against Great Tusk, particularly Ice Spinner less variants, allowing Gliscor to chip it down throughout the game and thus keep hazards up Protect is used to safely activate Toxic Orb, preventing Gliscor from being dissuaded by Knock Off or Will-O-Wisp; it also racks up passive healing with Poison Heal and Toxic damage on the opponent. Tera Water is used to turn Gliscor's Ice- and Water-weaknesses into resistances, allowing it to check (This might be too strong of a word since for example Samurott can SD, and Great Tusk now damages with Eq which does do less than Ice Spinner but you still dont check more offensive variants fully. Perhaps saying that it betters you matchup against them would work a bit better) Hisuian Samurott and Great Tusk with Ice Spinner. Gliscor naturally fits on bulky offense and balance teams. Alomomola and Clefable act as excellent Wish passers to keep Gliscor healthy throughout the game; the former covers its Ice- and Water-resistances, while the latter can use Stealth Rock to form a hazard-stacking core. Gholdengo and Dragapult can both block Rapid Spin, the former also blocks Defog, they also both take advantage of Spikes wearing down the opposition.

Would it be worth to mention why this EV spread in particular? If its too complicated then no need
