Do you hate it when Landorus-T denies your Heatran its Stealth Rock with that Defog set you're sick of seeing? If so, then you should consider going chomper here! Aqua Tail lets this set lure in and beat Landorus-T, allowing Garchomp to consistently keep Stealth Rock up against it. Swords Dance lets it overwhelm Landorus-T and shred common defensive cores, enabling teammates like Kartana, Dragapult, and Tapu Koko to wreak havoc. Thanks to Garchomp beating the most common Defogger in the tier, Ferrothorn loves stacking entry hazards with it. They also switch into each other's weaknesses; Garchomp can pivot into Heatran, while Ferrothorn checks Tapu Fini and Tapu Koko. Unfortunately, Garchomp struggles against other Defoggers like Corviknight and Tapu Fini, as well as the tier's plethora of fast offensive threats like Weavile, Kartana, and Dragapult. Therefore, it greatly values Pokemon that back it up defensively like Heatran, Assault Vest Tornadus-T, and Tapu Fini.

Do you hate it when Landorus-T denies your Stealth Rocks by Defogging them away? Might be fun to specify Heatran since that's a super hip Stealth Rocker atm, though that's mostly just flavor ig If so, then you should consider going chomper! The omnipresence of Defog Landorus-T has warranted the creation of this set, which uses Aqua Tail to lure and beat Landorus-T, allowing Garchomp to consistently keep Stealth Rock on the field. Swords Dance lets it overwhelm Landorus-T as well as other defensive staples like Clefable, Toxapex, and Ferrothorn, enabling teammates like Heatran, Dragapult, and Tapu Koko to wreak havoc on the opposing team. Swords Dance also gives it winning power against bulkier structures, especially if it's still healthy and speed control is condensed to Scarf Kartana/Torn. Its ability to beat the most common Defoggers in the tier also makes it great alongside Ferrothorn to form a hazard stacking core. Ferrothorn checks Tapu Fini and Tapu Koko too which is monumental considering how the latter tends to invalidate Garchomp as a Ground-type. Unfortunately, Garchomp struggles against other defoggers like Corviknight and Tapu Fini. And it is also easily revenge killed by a plethora of common offensive powerhouses in the tier like Dragapult, Weavile, and Kartana. Spotlights mostly just talk about what the sets are designed to do, what they excel at, and good teammates to go with them to help their weaknesses. I'm ok with discussing weaknesses but you should supplement them with teammates to help. I mention Heatran below which is a good Weavile pivot, and has the ability to check Pult/Kart in a pinch while loving the pressure it puts down on Lando. You could probably also bring up AV Torn as well for similar reasons

Do you hate it when Landorus-T denies your Heatran its Stealth Rock by Defogging them away? with that Defog set you're sick of seeing? (or something else that doesn't use Defog as a verb and incorporates the "omnipresent" idea)) If so, then you should consider going chomper! The omnipresence of Defog Landorus-T has warranted the creation of this set, which uses Aqua Tail to lure chomper here! Aqua Tail lets this set lure in and beat Landorus-T, allowing Garchomp to consistently keep Stealth Rock up against it. (bc you mention it struggling against other defoggers) Swords Dance lets it overwhelm Landorus-T as well as and shred common defensive cores, enabling teammates like Kartana, Dragapult, and Tapu Koko to wreak havoc. Thanks to it Garchomp beating the most common Defogger in the tier, Ferrothorn is a great teammate to form a hazard stacking core with Garchomp. loves stacking entry hazards with it. They also switch into each other's weaknesses; Garchomp can pivot into Heatran, while Ferrothorn checks Tapu Fini and Tapu Koko. Unfortunately, Garchomp struggles against other Defoggers like Corviknight and Tapu Fini. And it, unfortunately, struggles with the tiers Fini, as well as the tier's plethora of fast offensive threats like Weavile, Kartana, and Dragapult, so Dragapult. Therefore, it greatly values Pokemon that back it up defensively like Heatran, Assault Vest Tornadus-T, and Tapu Fini are greatly valued teammates.
