Well, I just hopped into another battle. I didn't save the replay, but I don't think it'll show up in the replay anyway. I was encored into using Swords Dance with Lucario. Then I selected Dynamax, and all the other move options became available Making me think Dynamaxing got you out of encore...

I haven't played Gen 8, so I don't know if this is a bug or a mechanic, but I was gonna use Grass Knot on this guy's Lanturn. Then he dynamaxed in the same turn, and Grass Knot failed. That doesn't seem right. https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8randombattle-1011426108

I honestly find Assault Vest Godra to be the best, seeing as though, his Special defense is already huge.

I like Goodra. Goodra should sit at least in OU as a Specially Defensive Special Sweeper. Although that doesn't really match up with his signature ability Gooey, since it requires physical hits in order to work, but his other options (Water absorb and Sap Sipper) aren't really better options...

I've always liked Belly Drum, Rest + Chesto Berry, Return for STAB, and Crunch for Type Coverage against Ghosts. I'd really like to see Snorlax be able to learn Slack Off, though.

I kinda like to use Roost instead of U-turn. You can regain any lost damage for attacks, status, and especially recoil. Of course, you can use U-turn to switch-out to a Wish user, use wish, and then switch Staraptor back out.
