    Judging from your messages to YattaGarasu we assume that you don't grasp the extent of Smogon's diversity yet. They do, in fact, feature VGC analyses in the specific Pokémon pages and are quite notable due their usual quality control.

    Smogon is a in a position to make that change - to make the official games more enjoyable so that you don't have to bother with simulators. Isn't that something worthy to work towards?

    A thing we have seen is that you speak as if notability only comes from adhering to official rules and we simply disagree. Notability, in our opinion, comes from the significance within the culture/francise and as the biggest English speaking and competitive Pokemon community they do a fairly good job in being notable already.

    All in all, even when GF is aware of Smogon (which is likely), their executives probably are not because the competitive players aren't the biggest part of their customers. The suits don't have much reason to cater to us.
    And honestly, Pokemon IS primarily designed as a single player experience, so isn't them actually trying to balance the game a sign of notability?
