Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Soooo sorry! I didn't get your message until about 4.40 my time, because I was editing my art thread! I'll MOST LIKELY be on *my* Tuesday and *my* Friday at the same time so if you're up late I can talk then. Sorry again! I wasn't ignoring you ^_^.
My new kitten is SOOOO cute!! He's solid white with a tail like a squirrel. He resembles a lynx to an extent. He loves my dog, but the relationship with my cat is unknown. He loves you without being annoying. He has these solid blue eyes that are very teary. He's so freakin adorable.
I like Lilligant too, but its movepool is crappy. It still looks pretty, and it even has competition with Gardevoir and Milotic for the most beautiful Pokemon, IMO.
Whimsicott is actually interesting. But what I don't get is why most people choose not to run an offensive attack like Giga Drain on it when its Special Attack is slightly higher than Blissey's and Serperior's. I also like it because it's so fluffy and cute.
Let me guess: The server is busy because of B/W. My laptop is pretty fast when I first turn it on, but it slows down the longer I use it. Why is Basculin stronger than Samurott? I usually see the starter as the strongest Pokemon.
But Archen is defensively frail anyway regardless of IVs.
But it's useful in doubles/triples. You're not the only one experiencing Smogon's lag? And who's in your team right now?
Speaking of perfect Speed IVs, here's the Archen I received a few weeks back; it didn't take me long to get it: Hasty, 14-15/30-31/16-17/26-27/12-13/31, Hidden Power (Ice).
It's too bad that the good ones like Earthquake, Stone Edge and Flamethrower are only obtainable post-National Dex. Other than Explosion, the Battle Subway TMs suck, IMO. They should've kept Iron Tail, Skill Swap, Roost, Dragon Pulse and Drain Punch as TMs, since their old numbers are prizes in the Battle Subway.
That's a good point, but most of the time, I settle for less than 31 Speed if it takes me forever to get it.
Payback works. But I don't want to level up Ferrothorn all the way up to 53 just to make it learn the move. I'll just use the TM on it.
Are you strict when it comes to IVs (like having perfect IVs all around)? I'm pretty lenient about my Pokemon's IVs; I aim for the 20-31 range in the stats I plan to make use of. The rest don't concern me.
I'm using that Ferroseed in the Battle Subway only as a Ferrothorn with:
-Curse
-Gyro Ball
-Power Whip
-random filler move, ideas? It doesn't have Spikes, Stealth Rock or Leech Seed, since I just stuck 2 Ferroseed in the Daycare.
No, I don't have a trade thread. I haven't the slightest clue to RNG, to be honest. I also can't connect my DS to my house. I recently revised my sig to say that I'm rarely in a place where I can trade at all.
