What kind of website layouts annoy you?

not exactly to do with layout but pornhub has this annoying habit of opening up a new tab for adverts with every click you make on the website. And they do this clever thing where sometimes the original tab that you were on starts loading up the ad and the new tab loads up the page you actually want to go to (I imagine to bypass/confuse all manner of pop-up blockers)...so you always have to check before instinctively closing a tab lest you fuck up.

getting accidentally stuck on a shady online-poker website is a great boner-killer.

disagree, half the ads that pop up for me on pornhub are for live video chats with Ladies Who Want You

while it can be potentially arousing, it's a little annoying when there are two distinct women moaning for the dick at the same time, and you can't tell which is which

Two types of websites that bother me are the ones that have an article spread over several pages so it can generate new ads on each page and websites that won't let you access them with AdBlock on. I get that websites have to make money somehow, but it's done in the most obnoxious ways.

They're pretty stylish and I see the appeal of not having to click away to a different page on the site, but idk I don't like the concept. I'd rather open the About page in another tab than scroll down to it yknow

Same here man; these "smart websites" (idk if they're called smth else but it makes sense so let's go with it) are just a case of people doing stuff which is supposed to be cool and sleek when in actuality the novelty wears off really quickly and it just becomes a less efficient way of navigating than buttons, and it is just rlly annoying in general.

Also re: whoever said auto-playing videos, I agree: they're so fucking obnoxious 'cause unless it's smth like YT where I'm there to... y'know, watch the video, it is just trying to pigeonhole you into watching smth that you don't want to and can be rlly annoying for a computer which is reaching the end of its life span (or is already using a lot of its memory on other processes).
