Thanks to its great Attack stat, its strong STAB moves, and Swords Dance, Ogerpon-H is a powerful wallbreaker that's able to threaten common physical walls like Deoxys-D and non-Well-Baked Body Corviknight. Power Whip OHKOes defensive Great Tusk at +2 and has a good chance to OHKO offensive Great Tusk, while Horn Leech trades power for healing and a guaranteed chance to hit. Play Rough threatens Dragon-types like Dragonite and Roaring Moon looking to switch in, while Knock Off has a high chance of OHKOing Well-Baked Body Gholdengo at +2 and hinders switch-ins like Primordial Sea Zapdos and Well-Baked Body Mandibuzz and Corviknight. Fast cleaners like Choice Scarf Azelf and Chien-Pao appreciate Ogerpon-H's ability to threaten their switch-ins like RegenVest Swampert and Intimidate Corviknight, respectively, paving the way for them to clean late-game. Ogerpon-H's middling bulk and only decent Speed stat leave it threatened by many faster offensive foes like Roaring Moon and Iron Boulder, so teammates that can deal with them offensively like the aforementioned Choice Scarf Azelf and Chien-Pao or defensively like Great Tusk and Corviknight, which can also remove the entry hazards that Ogerpon-H is prone to getting worn down by, are appreciated. Entry hazard support from the likes of Great Tusk and Heatran is also appreciated, as it helps Ogerpon-H KO foes like Gholdengo and Deoxys-D.
