[OVERVIEW]

* Mega Slowbro has amazing physical bulk combined with a nice typing that allows it to check threats such as Swords Dance Ultra Necrozma, Mega Lucario, Rayquaza, Mega Salamence, and some Arceus formes.
* Thanks to its pre-Mega ability Regenerator, Slowbro can act as a pivot before it Mega Evolves.
* After it Mega Evolves, Shell Armor prevents Slowbro from taking critical hits, which, combined with its access to Slack Off and Iron Defense, makes it easier to stall out physical attackers in the tier.
* It has a decent Special Attack stat, being able to OHKO Mega Salamence with an uninvested Ice Beam.
* However, Slowbro struggles against most of the metagame and requires too much to overcome its flaws, being only useful as a dedicated check to some threats, making it usually an inferior choice against other defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex, Celesteela, support Arceus formes, Celesteela, and Lugia.
* Slowbro has average special bulk and somewhat common weaknesses that leave it weak to most of the common special attackers in the tier such as Primal Kyogre, Yveltal, and Mega Gengar, which can easily trap Mega Slowbro.
* Even though Slowbro has a decent Special Attack stat, the lack of a boosting move or STAB move if not using Scald makes Slowbro passive and leaves it easily walled by most Steel-types in the tier and Primal Kyogre.
* Slowbro's low Speed makes it move after virtually any Pokemon in the tier.

evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Toxic is used to put opposing Pokemon on a timer.
* Scald is a reliable STAB move that can burn foes and enables Slowbro to beat Swords Dance Necrozma-DM. Scald also helps against Steel-types in general, as they are immune to Toxic; 2HKOes Mega Gengar; and makes it easier for Slowbro to beat Ho-Oh.
* Ice Beam makes Slowbro able to check Mega Salamence, Zygarde, and Rayquaza more reliably.
* Foul Play is another attacking option that allows Mega Slowbro to check some boosting threats like Necrozma-DM more reliably but makes it more passive.
* Slack Off allows Slowbro to keep itself healthy to check physical threats.
* Iron Defense boosts Slowbro's Defense, allowing it to beat boosting Pokemon such as Ultra Necrozma, Arceus, and Mega Lucario one-on-one.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in HP and Defense with a Bold nature allows Mega Slowbro to check physical threats more easily.
* Slowbronite is used to make Slowbro Mega Evolve.
* Regenerator allows Slowbro to work as a pivot before it Mega Evolves, giving it an extra recovery option.

Usage Tips
========

* Slowbro should be used as a pivot prior to Mega Evolving in the early- and mid-game.
* Prioritize spreading Toxic early-game or double around to prevent Slowbro from being used as entry hazard or setup fodder.
* It should only Mega Evolve when it's necessary to use its higher Defense.
* Mega Slowbro should prioritize using Slack Off after it takes some damage, as being forced out weakened makes it harder for Mega Slowbro to check what it's supposed to due to the lack of Regenerator.
* Slowbro should switch immediately into boosting threats it's supposed to check, as if they are allowed to set up more than once, they might be able to beat Slowbro.
* It should avoid being hit by Toxic at all costs, as Toxic will limit its longevity and make it easier for offensive Pokemon to get past Slowbro.
* Since Slowbro's Special Defense is not particularly good, it shouldn't be used to take special hits from Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre and Xerneas.
* Be careful when playing against Mega Gengar and Gothitelle, as they can easily trap Mega Slowbro and open the path for Pokemon such as Ultra Necrozma and Mega Lucario to win the game.

Team Options
========

* Pokemon that check Xerneas like Magearna and Necrozma-DM are required, as Mega Slowbro gives Xerneas a somewhat free setup opportunity.
* Ferrothorn can check Z-Geomancy Xerneas, provide Spikes support for Mega Slowbro, and work as a Primal Kyogre check and an emergency check to Ultra Necrozma if Slowbro is weakened.
* Fairy-type Pokemon such as Xerneas and Magearna can help Slowbro by checking Dark-type Pokemon like Yveltal and Arceus-Dark that can easily threaten Slowbro with their STAB moves; Xerneas and Magearna can also carry Aromatherapy or Heal Bell to cure Mega Slowbro from a status condiction.
* Dark-type Pokemon such as Yveltal, Alolan Muk, and Tyranitar can help by checking Ghost- and Dark-type Pokemon. Alolan Muk and Tyranitar in particular can help by Pursuit trapping Mega Gengar, which can trap Mega Slowbro. Alolan Muk also absorbs Toxic Spikes, which cripples Slowbro.
* Rest Zygarde can check Steel-type Pokemon and absorb status for Mega Slowbro.
* Entry hazard control from Pokemon such as Giratina, Lugia, and Arceus-Dark can help, as hazards, mainly Toxic Spikes, make it harder for Mega Slowbro to check opposing Pokemon; Arceus-Dark can also check Ghost-type Pokemon.
* Gothitelle can trap and beat most defensive Pokemon Slowbro can't deal with.
* Chansey and Blissey can usually sponge special attacks for Slowbro and cure it from status condictions with Heal Bell.
* Slowbro can't do much against most Steel-type Pokemon, so Pokemon that can check them such as Primal Groudon, Arceus-Ground, and Ho-Oh are appreciated. Arceus-Ground can also check Swords Dance Primal Groudon and provide Defog support.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Psyshock is an option that allows Mega Slowbro to hit Mega Gengar on the switch, OHKOing it most of the time; beat Mega Lucario more quickly; and do some damage against Primal Kyogre.
* Fire Blast can be used to hit Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor, since they are immune to Toxic, and it also allows Mega Slowbro to always OHKO Mega Lucario and 2HKO Arceus-Steel most of the time after Stealth Rock damage.
* Calm Mind allows Slowbro to act as a bulky late-game sweeper, but Slowbro lacks a moveslot for this move.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Shadow Tag**: Mega Gengar and Gothitelle can trap Mega Slowbro with Shadow Tag, easily beating it.

**Dark-types**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Yveltal and Arceus-Dark can easily beat Mega Slowbro with STAB moves.

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types such as Lunala, Giratina-O, and Bulk Up Marshadow can easily threaten Slowbro with their STAB moves. Lunala beats it with Moongeist Beam, Giratina-O 2HKOes it with Draco Meteor or Hex, and Marshadow can set up and beat it with Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike.

**Toxic**: Toxic limits Slowbro's longevity, making it unable to stall out threats on its own and check Mega Lucario.

**Bulky Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-type Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Celesteela, Mega Scizor, Klefki, and Arceus-Steel are able to beat Slowbro because it's very weak offensively and can't do much damage to them.

**Primal Kyogre**: Primal Kyogre can threaten Mega Slowbro with Thunder. Calm Mind sets can also use Slowbro as setup fodder, though they have to be careful of Toxic.

hey, am check here implement what u find right ect

overview:

- real talk this mon is useless apart from checking some physical threats, you should really say this in a point. Add its limit building too much, cus in a defensive team id rather use msab, mence or even mgar over this.
- outclassed by many defensive mons: toxa celesteela defensive zygarde lugia defensive ceus, mention imo.
- it checks zygarde dd, necrozma dm, sd groundceus, rayquaza to an extend, mention.

team options:
- "Alolan Muk or Tyranitar can help by checking Ghost-type Pokemon and in particular Pursuit trapping Gothitelle and Mega Gengar since they can trap Slowbro-Mega, Alolan Muk can also help by absorbing Toxic Spikes that cripple Slowbro."
irrelevant mons, put defensive yvetal and support darkceus and precise how it helps the team otherwise of beating dark-types
- "Ferrothorn can also be used to check Xerneas and provide Spikes for Slowbro-Mega, it can also work as Primal Kyogre check or an emergency check to Ultra Necrozma if Slowbro-Mega is weakened."
this should have its own point, say it checks zgeoxern instead cus geoxern without hpfire/focusblast isnt really good, add its a toxic and leech seed switchin, and check scarf yveltal/support darkceus to an extend.
- Hazard control from Pokemon such as Giratina, Yveltal and Arceus-Dark can help as hazards, mainly Toxic Spikes, will make it harder for Slowbro-Mega to check opposing Pokemon, Yveltal and Arceus-Dark can also help Slowbro by checking Ghost-type Pokemon.
id mention something else over yvetal, maybe hooh or lugia?
- mention somewhere that magearna and xerneas can be used as clerics, add chansey/blissey somewhere too.
- gothitelle should have a point, it can trap most fat mons that threaten slowbro

other options:
- remove twave, without toxic bro is shit, and double status doesnt sound good, it doesnt cripple geoxern too much since u r using this in a defensive team, geoxern dont care about being at 250 speed against those.

c&c: remove calm mind arceus its irrelevant now.

good stuff!

Did most of these things.
I didn't say its "outclassed" by these mons, just usually worse and mentioned most flaws
I expanded the thing about AloMuk to Dark-types but didn't delete it and Ttar, Pursuit trapping Gengar is still relevant enough to have a mention imo
I mentioned Xern and Mag can have Aromatherapy/Heal Bell, I'm giving Chansey/Blissey a mention, though

Probably worth mentioning that sunsteel strike/searing sunraze smash can crit through shell armor, so you have to be careful of that if spamming iron defense vs sd dusk mane. Scald could go in other options as it lets slowbro check steel types a bit more effectively (so dusk mane can't try to crit through you, mainly) at the expense of checking mence ray and zyg

this is irrelevant, you aren't sending slowbro to check necrozma dm unless u run scald, but serial ekiller is right, scald should get a mention in OO

Slowbro is on the border of viability but it does actually check things to the point that it having an analysis is probably fine.

First, change the bullet points to asterisks (*) for formatting purposes. Also just using "Mega Slowbro" is fine. We don't use "pokemon-mega".

Scald should probably go up to moves because this mon is actually capable of taking on SD Dusk if it runs it, which is something that is pretty rare for a defensive mon. Salamence has a wider range of checks that can fit as partners if need be, but Scald + Iron Defense can win that 1v1 too if its really necessary:

+6 252+ Atk Aerilate Salamence-Mega Facade (140 BP) vs. +6 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro-Mega: 153-181 (38.8 - 45.9%)

Pursuit needs a team option considering how weak this mon is vs Shadow Tag.

C&C needs some more general details that gives the matchups a bit more description. I'd avoid mentioning moves mentioned in OO as Slowbro's counterplay vs mons in C&C when the descriptions are rather short.

I'll take another look after the changes. Apologies for the long wait, the QC team (including myself) have been on the fence regarding this mon.

I'll finish this last C&C part and the -Mega later (I usually fix this for 3rd QC or before I post on queue as its more of a GP thing but its fine making it now either way).
I'm assuming Scald should be a main slash given what you said and I have Pursuit mentions on Team Options (mentioned on Darks) should I give them their own section though? Anyway this will be finished soon.
Edit: Implemented

I'm fine with Scald slashed before Ice Beam as the move (generally) hits more things, can burn those Toxic immunes (Steel-types), provides more of a check to offensive Necrozma-DM (Mega Slowro is like one of four things that isn't OHKOed by +2 SSS), and does some other situationally useful stuff like break Ho-Oh sub and 2HKO Gengar.

Add Foul Play in moves. Solves the scald vs ice beam issue but comes with other drawbacks. Fix the formatiting please!
Good job otherwise.

If I didn't miss anything this should be GP ready, I'll post on GP queue later once I get RU Cofagrigus ready so I post both at once (I'll probably read this over as well) fwiw I put Foul Play in set details, if it was supposed to get a slash lmk

*Slowbro has an amazing physical bulk combined with a nice typing that allows it (is it the bulk or the typing that allows it to check? With the current changes, it's presumably the typing; if you mean the bulk then "...bulk that, combined with a nice typing, allows it to...") to check threats such as Swords Dance Ultra Necrozma, Mega Lucario, Rayquaza, Mega Salamence, and some Arceus forms.

*Slowbro has an average special bulk and somewhat common weaknesses that leaves it weak to most of the common Sspecial Aattackers of the tier such as Kyogre-Primal Primal Kyogre, Yveltal, and Mega Gengar(AC)the last of which can easily trap Mega Slowbro.

*Calm Mind can be used(AC) allowing Slowbro to act as a bulky win condiction wincon (assuming you meant this; win condition isn't interchangeable with wincon) in the late-game(AC) but Slowbro generally lacks a moveslot for this move (if it always lacks the moveslot for this, why suggest it?).

Checks and Counters

**Shadow Tag**: Mega Gengar and Gothitelle can trap Mega Slowbro with Shadow Tag, easily beating it.

**Dark-types**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Yveltal and Arceus-Dark can easily beat Mega Slowbro with Dark Pulse and Judgment, respectively.

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types such as Lunala, Giratina-O and Bulk Up Marshadow can easily threaten Slowbro with their STABs,; Lunala beats it with Moongeist Beam, Giratina-O 2HKOes beats with with Draco Meteor or Hex(AC) and Marshadow can set up(add space)on it and beat it with Soul(AH)Stealing 7-Star Strike.

**Toxic**: Toxic limits Slowbro's longevity, making it unable to stall out threats on its own with Toxic and making it unable to check Mega Lucario.

**Bulky Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-type Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Celesteela, Mega Scizor, Klefki, and Arceus-Steel are able to beat Slowbro as it's very weak and can't do much damage to them (if it doesn't lack Fire Blast...).

**Primal Kyogre**: Primal Kyogre can threaten Mega Slowbro with Thunder. Calm Mind sets can also use Slowbro as a setup fodder(AC) though it has to be careful with wary of Toxic.

*Calm Mind can be used allowing allows Slowbro to act as a bulky win condiction in the late-game sweeper,(AC) but Slowbro lacks a moveslot for this move.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Shadow Tag**: Mega Gengar and Gothitelle can trap Mega Slowbro with Shadow Tag, easily beating it.

**Dark-types**: Dark-type Pokemon such as Yveltal and Arceus-Dark can easily beat Mega Slowbro with Dark Pulse and Judgment, respectively STAB moves.

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types such as Lunala, Giratina-O,(AC) and Bulk Up Marshadow can easily threaten Slowbro with their STABs,(RC) STAB moves.(period) Lunala beat it with Moongeist Beam, Giratina-O 2HKOes beats with it with Draco Meteor or Hex,(AC) and Marshadow can set upon it up and beat it with Soul-(AH)Stealing 7-Star Strike.

**Toxic**: Toxic limits Slowbro's longevity, making it unable to stall out threats on its own with Toxic and making it unable to check Mega Lucario.

**Bulky Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-type Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Celesteela, Mega Scizor, Klefki, and Arceus-Steel are able to beat Slowbro as because it's very weak offensively and can't do much damage to them. (what if Slowbro has Fire Blast?)

**Primal Kyogre**: Primal Kyogre can threaten Mega Slowbro with Thunder. Calm Mind sets can also use Slowbro as a setup fodder,(AC) though it has they have to be careful with of Toxic.

There should be a space after every bullet point.

Remove Add Comments (AC)= add comma (RC)= remove comma (AH)= add hyphen (RH)= remove hyphen

GP 2/2

* Even though Slowbro has a decent Special Attack stat, the lack of a boosting move or STAB move if not using Scald makes Slowbro passive and leaves it being easily walled by most Steel-types in the tier and Primal Kyogre.
* Slowbro's low Speed makes it move after virtually any Pokemon in the tier.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Toxic is used to put opposing Pokemon on a timer.
* Scald is a reliable STAB move that can burn foes and enables Slowbro to beat Swords Dance Necrozma-DM. Scald also helps against Steel-types in general, as they are immune to Toxic; (SC) 2HKOes Mega Gengar; (SC) and makes it easier for Slowbro to beat Ho-Oh.
* Ice Beam makes Slowbro able to check Mega Salamence, Zygarde, and Rayquaza more reliably.
* Foul Play is another attacking option that allows Mega Slowbro to check some boosting threats like Necrozma-DM more reliably but makes Slowbro it more passive.
* Slack Off allows Slowbro to keep itself healthy to check physical threats.
* Iron Defense boosts Slowbro's Defense, allowing it to beat boosting Pokemon such as Ultra Necrozma, Arceus, and Mega Lucario one-on-one.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

========

* Pokemon that check Xerneas like Magearna and Necrozma-DM are required, as Mega Slowbro gives Xerneas a somewhat free setup opportunity.
* Ferrothorn can check Z-Geomancy Xerneas, provide Spikes support for Mega Slowbro,(space)and work as a Primal Kyogre check and an emergency check to Ultra Necrozma if Slowbro is weakened.
* Fairy-type Pokemon such as Xerneas and Magearna can help Slowbro by checking Dark-type Pokemon like Yveltal and Arceus-Dark that can easily threaten Slowbro with their STAB moves; Xerneas and Magearna can also carry Aromatherapy and or Heal Bell, respectively, to cure Mega Slowbro from a status condiction.
* Entry hazard control from Pokemon such as Giratina, Lugia, and Arceus-Dark can help, as hazards, mainly Toxic Spikes, make it harder for Mega Slowbro to check opposing Pokemon; (SC) and Arceus-Dark can also check Ghost-type Pokemon.

Other Options
=============

* Psyshock is an option that allows Mega Slowbro to hit Mega Gengar on the switch, OHKOing it most of the time; (SC) beat Mega Lucario more quickly; (SC) and do some damage against Primal Kyogre.
