seen Goldberg being spicy bout Asuka earlier.

i was there when he exploded onto the scene as a youngin and won't lie - loved him.
But vro, friend, buddy, my brother in faith ----- you calling her "Some Japanese girl" or whatever he said is 1) disrespectful and 2) let's be real... does ANYONE consider Goldberg a better wrestler than Asuka? (if you do DM who you getting from) --- Asuka has done more for women wrestling (if you say different you only know her WWE main roster run - which even that will be HoF worthy one day.) than you have WCW or wrestling in general.

I get he did more numbers for WCW when he was hot (lets be fair cus women NEVER get the spot he did main star, crazy streak, main eventer always etc and more realistically the era) but to be such a curmudgeon is gross. Especially to a lady who 1) you'd know been SUPER KEY and 2) if you really cared about the biz you'd love seeing women get their flowers now.

Who predicted (and Bret Hart is my GOAT [obv love Asuka too off my bio but i don't do bias, i'm pretty fair/realistic]) Goldberg would become the token Bret Hart "4/10" meme cus he's mad a woman overtook his streak? Wild.

Imagine being that guy in 2024. Crazy (and ego-driven worthlessness).

Last night's Raw was AMAZING. One of the best Raws of the last 20+ years. Really enjoyed Rock's surprise appearance (and later him destroying Cody) and the Punk/Drew/Seth segment had me absolutely rolling.

liked it too and Cody needs to get his lick back.

only "issue" i could state about all this recent booking (and trust me i'm not just some wrestling head that is a bit of a nerd about it) is roman and his 3+ year reign really falling into the background a bit. recently it's felt more rock vs cody than roman vs cody even tho we know that's where the bread meets the butter this year.

and lots of talk of rock stopping the bloodline from ruining codys moment > rock vs cody at summerslam and roman screws rock for screwing him after a mania cody win - all are fun ideas but will say it's a bit odd we taking so much focus off one the most long tenured runs in decades --- pay roman some more so he's on tv more if anything. lol

Edit* cus (and this is no slight or hate) but the "Little Brother" syndrome they cast on Seth Rollins with Cody being main character face side is happening to Roman with Rock rn.

Cody can't lose two years in a row or else he's cooked.

Also, big agree on Roman feeling like the least important person in this whole feud - if I didn't know better, I'd swear it was Rock defending the title against Cody. I might be coping by thinking it's intentional to fuel him turning on Rock after WM, though I hope this heel Rock run goes a bit longer.

Heard The Rock might fight in Crown Jewel so yeah there is a chance

ive gotten a lot of texts last 24 hours from friends who remember me telling em when Cody left WWE all those years ago "He's gonna go away and do big things and come back, call me on this later if I'm wrong" LOL - EVEN I almost forgot I said all that....
The Indy years... Bullet Club... NWA Champ.. The List... ***AEW*** [Admittedly I didn't call him starting a new #2 fed in the world lmaoo, I did expect him to join BC to be fair though LMAO...]
Getting those calls and (not even self serving, idc about that) it just reminded me why Cody is one my top modern day favs... I got invested all those years ago and even called for it. Took some years but god was the payoff good.

Also all that long term story telling in the match (esp Shield Seth/Roman) *chefs kiss*
Edit* (Though I will say I seen people saying on X/Twitter how they heard the Shield theme and thought it was Mox LMAO
1) No, he resigned WWE can't overwrite legally binding contracts lol.
2) if it was him he wouldn't immediately ate a Superman Punch cus it'd be a redebut [Thus show him off strong] --- Seth eating it was to distract Roman/bring in the chair, Roman hit him immediately instinctively -- and to that was delivered perfect.

I don't think anybody seriously expected Mox to come out - they were just so lost in the insanity of the match that they didn't really think about the impossibility of it.

Speaking of Mox, he just won the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship yesterday.

He's now the first man to have won the WWE, AEW, and IWGP World Championships.
I've always noticed that the former Shield members always succeed. Roman had the Universal Title, Seth had the WHC, and Dean had all WWE, AEW, and IWGP Championships!

HHH definitely had the right vision when he earmarked all 3 of them as the future of the business back in 2012. They're going to end up going down as one of the most successful factions of all time in both what they did as a group and on their own.

Thoughts on the new WWE World Tag Team Titles? I feel like they're definitely an upgrade over the Red belts. I wonder what the new SmackDown tag belts will look. Guessing they'll have a similar design to Universal and Women's titles on that brand following the same trend as the Raw belts.

Honestly, I'm just glad they're finally replacing the atrocious red/blue belts.
