OU OU Cinderace [QC 1/1] [GP 1/1]

- U-turn
- Zen Headbutt / Sucker Punch
- Gunk Shot / Sucker Punch

Libero changing Cinderace's typing in accordance to its moves makes it a fearsome Pokemon in the tier. Furthermore, thanks to its high Speed tier and a decent Attack stat, Cinderace makes for one of the best cleaners OU can offer; it also makes for a fast offensive pivot thanks to U-turn. Its coverage options can hit a plethora of threats in OU, with Zen Headbutt being able to hit Toxapex and Kommo-o, while Gunk Shot nails Azumarill and Clefable. Even faster Pokemon such as Alakazam and Dragapult can be OHKOed thanks to Sucker Punch, which makes Cinderace a difficult Pokemon to deal with. Bulky Water-types such as Toxapex and Slowbro can be problematic for Cinderace, so Pokemon that can handle them such as Zeraora are appreciated. Zeraora also forms a deadly VoltTurn core with Cinderace, and they tend to lure in Pokemon that the other threatens. Slowbro makes for another good partner because of its ability to check Hippowdon and bring Cinderace in via a slow Teleport.

Thanks to its high Speed tier and a decent Attack stat, Cinderace makes for one of the best wallbreakers in the tier. It also makes for a fast offensive pivot thanks to U-turn, which this set utilizes. Cinderace is definitely moreso an offensive pivot and cleaner than a wallbreaker, so try to combine these two sentences while leaving out the wallbreaker part. Furthermore, its ability Libero giving STAB to all of Cinderace’s moves makes it even more fearsome. Libero is really the primary factor that makes Cinderace so good, so I wouldn't write it off as a "furthermore" but rather highlight it at the start. Even faster Pokémon such as Alakazam and Dragapult are OHKOed thanks to STAB Sucker Punch, which makes Cinderace a difficult Pokemon to deal with. Entry hazard support from Ferrothorn, Kommo-o, and Excadrill can cause to opposing team to continuously rack up residual damage for Cinderace to function more easily. This is not really significant since any offensive Pokemon likes entry hazard support. Bulky Water-types such as Toxapex and Slowbro can be problematic for Cinderace, so Pokemon that can handle them such as Magearna and Alakazam are appreciated. Rather than mentioning Magearna and Alakazam (the former can struggle with Toxapex and the latter can struggle with Slowbro), I think Zeraora is a very important partner to mention; it forms a deadly VoltTurn core with Cinderace, as they tend to lure in Pokemon that the other threatens out (for instance Cinderace luring in Water-types like Slowbro as you mentioned while Zeraora lures in Amoonguss for example). Azumarill makes for another good partner because of its ability to check Hippowdon, which can cause Cinderace to rack up residual damage due to Rocky Helmet. The only set we have up on the dex for Azumarill is Belly Drum and it's really not a proper "check" to Hippowdon, as it either has to go for Belly Drum with the risk of getting phazed out by Whirlwind OR attack straight-up and do about 30% at most. Slowbro is a better mention. Clerics such as Clefable make for good teammates, since they are able to pass Wishes to Cinderace, which makes up for its lack of recovery. This is not that significant.

I don't think a game where it only gets one kill and ends up winning through flinch hax is the greatest showcase, here's some that I think are better:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8ou-510079 Cinderace pivots throughout the game and cleans up all 4 remaining Pokemon in the late game
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8ou-510069 Cinderace takes out most of the opposing team throughout the game
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8ou-509737 Very good showcase of the VoltTurn vortex
I'd like to take another look once this is implemented.

Cindercae’s access to (Remember that it's a set spotlight, not a Pokemon analysis) Libero giving STAB to all of Cinderace’s moves makes it a fearsome Pokemon in the tier. Furthermore, thanks to its high Speed tier and a decent Attack stat, Cinderace makes for one of the best cleaners OU can offer, and it also makes for a fast offensive pivot thanks to U-turn, which this set utilizes. The reader already knows it utilizes U-turn from seeing the set. Considering the spotlight is on the shorter end now, I think you could add a sentence here on what its coverage hits, i.e., Zen Headbutt hits Toxapex and Kommo-o while Gunk Shot nails Clefable and Azumarill. Even faster Pokémon such as Alakazam and Dragapult are can be (Cinderace doesn't always run Sucker Punch and it's a roll on Dragapult) OHKOed thanks to STAB (Redundant considering you already talked about Libero) Sucker Punch, which makes Cinderace a difficult Pokemon to deal with. Bulky Water-types such as Toxapex and Slowbro can be problematic for Cinderace, so Pokemon that can handle them such as Zeraora are appreciated. Zeraora also forms a deadly VoltTurn core with Cinderace, and both of them can lure each other’s checks. It's the opposite, they tend to lure in Pokemon that the other threatens. Slowbro makes for another good partner because of its ability to check Hippowdon, which can cause Cinderace to rack up residual damage due to Rocky Helmet. A lot of Hippowdon run Leftovers, so you can just leave this part off in my opinion. You can instead add that Slowbro joins in on the pivoting with Teleport.

Libero does more than give STAB, changing its typing can be meaningful in other ways too. If you change the very first part to something like "Libero changing Cinderace's typing in accordance to its moves" you're good. QC 1/1
