ADF Test

Banned deucer.

Stall in ORAS was a bit of an issue and was a little overwhelming with regular sableye hyperstall or shed hyperstall. People were forced to use things such as band tyranitar with specs volcanion on the same team to counter such teams or even CM/Sub Gardivoir.. And it was a little sad to see people being forced to use checks and counters like that to stop stall. I, myself, am not a stall player... but I do encourage it a lot and I enjoy using it from time to time. I started to notice what people were using to check and counter stall so I made this team to counter act those things. I am ADF Test and this is just a cool little (cancer) stall team I made just for the ladder.

kek (Sableye-Mega) @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Careful Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Knock Off
- Protect

Sableye is one of the main staples to stall. It acts as a hazard blocker and as well as wall just to support the team well. It is used simply to block hazards and to counter ferrothorn and chansey along with other bulky steels that set up hazards i.e.bronzong, skarmory, etc. This was also one of my gengar checks since gengar is a decent stall breaker with taunt crippling chansey. This mon also can take a LO draco from latios in times of need and can also take a -2 LO draco from latios if needed when taken a draco from the previous turn. The mon also worked as a wall for tank chomp, blocking the hazards and burning it. But one of the other big requirements that this mon provides is a check to mega medicham. But! With this EV spread, ice punch does quite a lot..(252+ Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega Ice Punch vs. 252 HP / 112 Def Sableye-Mega: 113-133 (37.1 - 43.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO). So beware of that just in case. But overall, this mon is amazing for stall, providing so much to make the stall succeed. Protect is to scout for moves, unlike fake-out. Recover is for gaining back HP obviously. Knock Off is for removing a pokemons item as well as having more PP than foul play and also its needed over foul play because this is the only source of knock off on the team and i have 2 unaware mons as well. Will-O-Wisp is for burning mons and cutting their attack stats obviously and just wearing down some threats to the team.

lung c (Alomomola) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 116 HP / 240 Def / 152 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald
- Mirror Coat

So, this pokemon is extremely necessary for the team. This is the designated banded weavile(and most banded pokemon) check. (252 Atk Choice Band Weavile Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 116 HP / 240+ Def Alomomola: 189-223 (37.8 - 44.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery)(With no item 252 Atk Choice Band Weavile Knock Off vs. 116 HP / 240+ Def Alomomola: 127-150 (25.4 - 30%) -- guaranteed 4HKO ). This pokemon is also a good band tyranitar switch in to scout whether they are going for crunch or stone edge (252+ Atk Choice Band Tyranitar Crunch vs. 116 HP / 240+ Def Alomomola: 186-219 (37.2 - 43.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery) -- guaranteed 3HKO after sandstorm damage)(252+ Atk Choice Band Tyranitar Stone Edge vs. 116 HP / 240+ Def Alomomola: 231-273 (46.2 - 54.6%) -- 58.2% chance to 2HKO after sandstorm damage and Leftovers recovery). So over all, this pokemon is made to tanked physical hits for the team just because it can eat up most physical hits and regain so much HP with regenerator... but it is also meant to tank special hits since i do have spdef and mirror coat. This pokemon is used to take on keldeos (it lives specs focus blast as well 252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Focus Blast vs. 116 HP / 152 SpD Alomomola: 420-495 (84 - 99%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery) It takes on kelds by just scalding and burning and/or mirror coating it. This mon was also designed to take on defensive-rotom. This is because with sableye in the back, the threat of will-o-wisping it and it being bounced back might raise some worry so most rotoms as I've seen on ladder will always volt on alo and you can mirror coat (this isnt always a good strat to use but it will help mind games and such. This is simply for a little bit of offensive pressure to knock out an existing member on the opponents team.) So its just its just more of a rotom bait more than anything else. (0 SpA Rotom-Wash Volt Switch vs. 116 HP / 152 SpD Alomomola: 228-270 (45.6 - 54%) -- 2.3% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery). Finally, this mon was also designed to take on gardivoir and mega-diancie. As obvious as it is, mirror coat is meant to kill it and alo is meant to bait in the hyper-voice and you can easily knock it out with mirror coat. (232 SpA Pixilate Gardevoir-Mega Hyper Voice vs. 116 HP / 152 SpD Alomomola: 325-384 (65 - 76.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery). And the same role is placed with diancie, you mirror coat on the moonblast (248 SpA Diancie-Mega Moonblast vs. 116 HP / 152 SpD Alomomola: 261-307 (52.2 - 61.4%) -- 97.7% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery) As well as this pokemon is supposed to take on other special mons like AV torn amoongus at time.

tumor (Clefable) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 172 Def / 88 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Protect
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast

This clefable has a unique role on this team. Its purpose is to beat opposing stalls and just for a late game sweeper as well. It is also supposed to take on specific mons along with that roll. Mons such as av torn and CM mega gardivior and mega sableye and opposing clefables that are magic guard and mega heracross being the biggest one. With AV torn it tanks hurricanes, but you should be careful of when to let torn to knock off your leftovers because having them is important for hera or for weather teams. (160 SpA Tornadus-Therian Hurricane vs. 248 HP / 88+ SpD Clefable: 135-159 (34.3 - 40.4%) -- 42.9% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery). Since mega heracross is a big problem for stalls, this clef is a good wall for it to wear down its rock blasts since it only gets 16 moves for rock blast. ( 136+ Atk Heracross-Mega Rock Blast (5 hits) vs. 248 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 195-235 (49.6 - 59.7%) -- approx. 89.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery)

cancer (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic
- Heal Bell
- Stealth Rock

Chansey is also a staple to most stall teams, providing as an excellent cleric and also as a special and physical tank. This spread on chansey is just to tank physical hits better because banded pokemans were very common at this time. Its meant to take on latios better as well, and banded kyreum-b. (it doesnt take on banded kyreum-b but it can tank any hit from it, if needed). This mon is also supposed to take on char-y because it is the only counter to it on the team (unless you stall out sun with clefable and cm all over it). So... the moveset is a bit odd but works so amazingly and so effectively. The reasoning behind this is because as i watched the ladder, i noticed that gengar wasnt being used as often anymore. So taunt wasnt an issue when creating this moveset (dont be fooled, taunt can still cripple this mon severely), but this moveset is so helpful for the team, toxic-ing volcaronas and dugtrios, setting up rocks, getting rid of status problems with heal bell, and recovering HP with soft-boiled. This moveset is heavily needed for the team to succeed in battle.

short bus (Quagsire) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Recover

Quagsire is another staple in my opinion on hyperstall teams. Mainly for the source of killing/taking care of Zard-X and as well as a volt turn check for raikou and mega mane. Along with taking on physical attacks that set up like mega scizor, sd lando, and other bulky ground types. I chose toxic over curse simply because I already have a CM clefable with unaware to beat it and toxic is also to wear down mons and threats and walls just to make things easier and faster for the team. Quag's job is pretty self-explanatory.

snek attk (Skarmory) (M) @ Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Whirlwind
- Roost
- Defog
- Brave Bird

Skarmory is yet another staple to hyperstall. This pokemon's role is pretty simple and straight forward. The biggest point of this mon is to wall mega-heracross and wall most common ground types (lando, excadrill, etc). As well as getting rid of hazards that so stumble on the my side of the field. Whirlwind is highly necessary for things that are setting up such as mega garyados (which is a pretty decent problem for the team). I chose bravebird over iron was to just one shot breloom and do more damage on things such as landorus, it was just my personal preference (having iron head is also good, it doesnt cause any recoil and can hit diancie better). I have shed shell on this mon just to take on opposing magnezones better so i do not get trapped whatsoever.

Threats:
Mega-heracross is a bit of an issue paired with tyranitar and healing with... the best way to deal with it just stalling it's rock-blasts with clef or stalling its CC(close-combats) with skarmory and wish-passing with alo from time to time to each mon to stall out more PP on hera

+
Char-y plus banded tyranitar is a problem but a very controllable problem that can be easily dealt with if played smart around, you need to be alert when facing this type of team or ttar will easily damage chansey enough to the point where char-y will sweep

/
+ Hyper offence is a huge problem. You must just simply predict well with crawdaunt with alo and skarmory. This type of play style beats this stall easily if not played well.
