[OVERVIEW]

  • Miltank's impressive 95 / 105 / 70 bulk allows it to check a plethora of threats in the tier, such as Kangaskhan, Archeops and Absol.
  • Miltank has two great abilities in Sap Sipper which allow it to check prominent Grass-type threats like Shiftry as well as Thick Fat which allows it to check Ice-types like Piloswine and Fire-types like Charizard and Pyroar.
  • Milk Drink gives Miltank access to reliable recovery, allowing it to stay healthy and stick around throughout the match.
  • Miltank has access to a bunch of utility options such as Stealth Rock, Heal Bell and Thunder Wave, which can be customized differently depending on the team.
  • Miltank suffers from relatively poor special bulk and can be pressured by strong wallbreakers and attackers like Choice Specs Mesprit, Nasty Plot Raichu-A and Focus Blast Magmortar.
  • Miltank can also be set up fodder against Pokemon it cannot outlast, especially versus bulky wincons like Gurdurr and Musharna.
