Middle Cup

It's not a new idea, it's been done on PO. I was wondering if it could be implemented on Showdown.

Basically all middle stage evolutions (Dusclops,Chansey) are allowed. It gives an opportunity for pokemon like Pikachu to shine imo. Obviously, some rules have to be implemented, but I think its a pretty decent tier. Then again, the last thing Showdown needs is another tier that nobody plays, so it could be made into a tournament instead.

As of now there are no plans to implement Middle Cup (do to playerbase size). However, if there is sufficient support for it it may very well be added later on. That being said, you can still fight people in Middle Cup (if you both agree to follow the rules) and talk about it in it's very own thread in the meantime.
