ORAS OU Mega Diancie + TTar Balance

Hello everyone, this is my second RMT in ORAS ou. This team is built around mega diancie.

Crystalium (Diancie) @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 8 Atk / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Protect
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power

This is the standard mega diancie set. Protect is mandatory because diancie's pre mega speed is so low and it loses its defenses when it mega evolves. I usually lead with this pokemon to secure the mega evolution. Moonblast and diamond storm are the 2 stab moves while earth power is for coverage against poison and steel types. Max speed investment with naive nature makes mega diancie as fast as possible. The 8 attack evs are to guarntee the OHKO on zardx with diamond storm. The rest is put into special attack to power up moonblast and earth power.

Tyrant (Tyranitar) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 180 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Earthquake

This is second part of my rock spam core. Mega diancie and banded ttar wear down bulky ground and steel types for each other, while also providing some type synergy. Ttar can also trap psychic and ghost types with pursuit. I decided to go with a bulkier ev spread, putting only 76 evs in speed to outspeed uninvested base 70s. Max attack with adamant nature makes me hit as hard as possible. The rest is put into hp to make ttar very bulky.

Spagetti (Tangrowth) (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed

My team currently has 2 ground weaknesses, so a sturdy ground resist is a great asset to my team. Tangrowth can switch in to any ground type consistently. With regenerator, I can constantly use it as a pivot. Sleep powder cripples an opposing pokemon, while leech seed can sap health to make tangrowth live longer. Giga drain provides a reliable stab and knock off removes items. I chose a max physical defense spread to live more physical hits, espically earthquakes. I chose rocky helmet for its item to discourage physical attacks.

Hydropony (Keldeo) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Scald
- Icy Wind

Currently, my team struggles against steel types, especially bisharp, so keldeo is a great choice to check them. Ttar complements keldeo very well by removing psychic and ghost types. I choice the specs set because I need more wallbreaking power. Hydro pump and secret sword are powerful stab moves, scald for a reliable water move and a chance to burn, and icy wind to slow down enemies as well as hit grass types.

Pompeii (Heatran) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 12 SpA / 244 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Toxic

I need a stealth rocker, so heatran is a great choice because it greats an fire/water/grass core as well as provides another steel type check. With a timid nature and 244 speed evs, it can outspeed adamant excadrill, which troubles my team. Lava plume is a good fire stab which can burn. Stealth rock provides chip damage, and taunt and toxic provides a stallbreaking combination. 252 hp evs make it tankier, while 12 special attack evs make it do a bit more damage.

Fairly (Clefable) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunder Wave

Lastly, I needed a win condition as well as a fighting check, and clefable is perfect for this. With magic guard, calm mind, and softboiled, it can setup on many attackers and eventually do a lot of damage with moonblast. Thunder wave helps it set up on faster attackers as well as crippling them. The ev spread and nature is the standard spread. Leftovers allows it to be less reliant on softboiled.

Threats:
Ground types: Tangrowth is my only ground resist and if it gets taken down, my team is nearly done.
Hazard stack teams: As my team is grounded and I have no hazard removal, I get worn down fast with spikes.

Please provide feedback for my team and tips to improve it.

Hey cool team, I really liked your idea of Rock Spam. The first thing I noticed is that you don't switch in well to Choice Specs Keldeo, as your main water resist is something that doesn't appreciate taking Icy Winds, or even Hydro Pumps + Burn damage for that matter. Also Mega Scizor if given the chance can eat this team alive as it can hit Superpower on the incoming Heatran. Other than that the team is solid, so here is my suggested change.

A small set change on this would be stellar. A set of
252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spdef allow it to take Keldeo's hits much better. You could opt for a spread of 252 HP / 176 Def / 76 def also, but since Tangrowth is your main Mega Metagross answer losing out on that bulk could be game changing. Also, running Hidden Power Fire over Leech Seed on this could greatly help vs opposing Mega Scizor which as said above was a huge threat. Changing the spread to either of those don't really worsen your matchup vs Ground types as Tangrowth has fantastic bulk and with Regenerator it can almost always switch in. Replacing Leech Seed wouldn't hurt too much as well as the main things you are Leech Seeding (Metagross, Excadrill, Scizor, etc..) are all scared out by Rocky Helmet Damage, Hidden Power Fire, and Knock Off.

While this is a minor and personal preference,
running 84 Speed on Tyranitar could help out vs Skarmory. On my Skarmory I run 8 Speed to 1. Whirlwind out opposing Skarmory, and maybe hit Tyranitar with an Iron Head if they try to stay in and Stone Edge. Since SpDef Iron Head Skarm is usually paired with teams weak to Diancie don't be surprised if they have a Latios and your Tyranitar dies the next time it switches in because it eats an Iron Head from Skarmory. The 8 HP EVs don't really make a difference but the 8 Speed EVs could win games so I'd opt for a spread of 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Speed.
