Hello, and welcome to the 3rd tour in our Little Cup Tournament Circuit! This time, it's the highly anticipated Other Metagames tournament. For those who don't know the format yet;

This is a Swiss tournament, consisting of 7 weeks, each with a different LCOM metagame. For those who don't know what a swiss tournament is, here's an explanation (C+P'd from QuoteCS)

For the first round, everybody is paired with an opponent at random. From the 2nd Round onward, you are paired with an opponent that has a similar record. There are no eliminations in Swiss tournaments. You keep playing each round until the last round is over. You will also never play the same player twice. Once the last round ends, the top cut of the players will advance to a small bracket to determine the ultimate winner. The final cut will almost definitely be a top 16.

Every week we will have a new metagame. These are the metagames I will be using: LC UU, LC Ubers, LC Doubles, ADV LC, AAA LC, LC STABmons, LC Balanced Hackmons.

When we reach the top cut, there will be a 16 man single elimination tournament. For the round of 16 and the round of 8, it will be a bo3. The higher seed will choose the first metagame, out of the ones played, the lower seed will choose the second metagame, and the higher seed will choose the third metagame if needs be. For the semifinals and finals it will be a bo5, with the higher seed choosing the first, third, and fifth metagames, and the lower seed choosing the second and fourth metagames. The same metagame cannot be played twice in the same series. This system gives the higher seed the advantage, which means it's important to do well in the swiss rounds.

If 2 players in the top cut have the same record in the swiss rounds, they will each choose 1 metagame, and I will decide the final one at random.

Tour-Specific Rules:
Due to the nature of swiss tournaments, extensions aren't allowed, unless under exceptional circumstances. Sometimes it will simply be impossible to grant an extension.

Many people like to drop out of swiss tournaments, because they don't do well in the first few rounds - if this is the case, please post saying you want to drop out before the next week. It is unfair to the people who want to carry on playing if they don't get to play their matches.

All other tournament rules apply.
