RU jolteon (mini)

[OVERVIEW]
Although Jolteon's slightly higher Speed compared to Raikou might seem enticing, it's barren movepool, non-existent bulk, and lack of access to Calm Mind makes it offensively outclassed by its brethren. Other very fast Pokemon such as Swellow, Ribombee, or Mega Sceptile also outclass it in its revenge killing and pivoting roles; the only unique thing it has that stands out is the ability to force switches with a combination of Yawn and Volt Switch; however, this niche is very hard to pull off and not appreciated by most teams.

[SET]
name: Special Attacker
move 1: Yawn
move 2: Volt Switch
move 3: Thunderbolt
move 4: Hidden Power Ice
item: Life Orb
ability: Quick Feet
nature: Timid
evs: 252 Spa / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set attempts to annoy both offensive and bulkier teams with Yawn + Volt Switch. However, this gimmick does not always work because of Jolteon's frailty, while Raikou will always be better as a purely offensive Electric-type, and other fast Pokemon or Choice Scarf users make Jolteon's ability to outspeed Salazzle and Choice Scarf Metagross worthless.

Quick lil' AM check, I guess. Lol.
[OVERVIEW]
There is no point in using Jolteon in any serious competitive team instead of Raikou. Although Jolteon's slightly higher Speed might seem enticing, it's barren movepool, non-existent bulk, and lack of access to Calm Mind makes it completely outclassed by Raikou. Other very fast Pokemon such as Swellow, Ribombee, or Mega Sceptile also outclass it in its speed control and pivoting roles. The only unique thing it has that stands out is the ability to force switches with a combination of Yawn and Volt Switch, however, this niche is very hard to pull off and not appreciated by most teams.

[SET]

I would personally make a note of why Quick Feet has slightly better utility than Volt Absorb. That's my only thought. Maybe like an add on to the Yawn + Volt Switch line.

i do not agree on how you start with "There is no point in using Jolteon in any serious competitive team instead of Raikou. " youre using jolteon because of the higher speed and combination of vswitch and yawn while raikou does literally something else, so just talk about how bad this niche still is without comparing it to raikou.

after this 1/2
