As long as the user is asleep due to this move, it regains any immunity normally granted by its ability or type if it had them at the start of the battle. Essentially, this can buy a Sleep Talk-using Snoopa time to react when faced with Knock Off. It's slow, so it gets hit, loses its item, then uses this, regaining its lost HP and immunities for three turns.

Empoleking is immune to confusion, so really that's there to let it trigger its own ability and keep Smeargle from abusing this too much.

Not great, but its a more useful trapping move due to absorbing the damage dealt and it can keep something in that would have switched otherwise.

In base form, that means a 50% chance to paralyze foes less than 41.2 kg, 40% chance to paralyze 41.2-51.4 kg foes, 30% chance to paralyze 51.5-68.6 kg foes, 20% chance to paralyze 68.7-103.0 kg foes, and 10% chance to paralyze everything else.
In Mega form, that means a 50% chance to paralyze foes less than 48.2 kg, 40% chance to paralyze 48.2-60.2 kg foes, 30% chance to paralyze 60.3-80.3 kg foes, 20% chance to paralyze 80.4-120.5 kg foes, and 10% chance to paralyze everything else.
Simply put, Ionic Crash is a reliable Electric-type coverage move that, like how Heat Crash and Heavy Slam take advantage of how lighter foes tend to be more frail, takes advantage of how lighter foes tend to be more reliant on Speed.

This move provides a powerful STAB Special Attack for Jellie that isn't dependent on HP for damage output. Because of this, it isn't as powerful as a full HP Water Spout, but it isn't a Bubble either. It also takes advantage of Diamond Storm's secondary effect, but slightly tweaks it to make it useful. All in all, great move.

This move takes advantage of the sheer weight of Zaggron and its Mega, assuming weight is averaged. Either way, it provides a physical coverage move for this Mon that has a ton of power if used on the right targets.
