After the few battles you've had here, you begin to notice something. It never changes. The arena is always mysteriously repaired every time you enter, and seemingly never changes between battles either. You think that even the rocks are in the same starting position every time. If you had less on your mind, you might've been able to ponder the meaning of it all... Does the arena's sameness represent the similarities of every battle, or how everything starts equal until order is disrupted by conflict? Or maybe the arena is a juxtaposition to the difference in every trainer, but showing that we are all connected through battle? Who knows. You certainly don't even consider it as the referee nods to both of you and calls out. "Battlers ready! FIGHT!!" The only thing on your mind is the next Pokemon, the next move, the next fight. All of these focii change now as two flashes of light illuminate the bright arena. The next battle has begun. Whether it will be the same or different to other battles will be up to you.

This Round's Order:
Dixay sends out and equips.
Reviloja753 sends out, equips, and orders.
Dixay orders.

Post Round:
Mincinno' HP rounds down to 59.
Grubbin's HP rounds down to 36.

Mincinno is the first out of it's Pokeball, charging immediately down the arena to the flashing light that is soon to be Grubbin. As the Grubbin materializes, Mincinno twirls around, still flying at Grubbin, and smacks him with his fuzzy tail. Grubbin, not used to such speed, has to react fast, and react fast he does. He knocks Mincinno off with his glowing pincers after he gets off only two smacks. But Mincinno closes the short distance fast, and as Grubbin attempts to build up a sufficient charge, Mincinno begins smacking him around with his floofy tail again. Mincinno gets off a full five slaps before Grubbin's charged ring blasts him off. But this Mincinno has a one-track mind, and he rushes in once more for a slappin'. Grubbin, already losing a significant amount of his energy, still reacts quickly, but not as quickly as the first time, and only manages to throw Mincinno off with his pincers after three swipes off Mincinno's tail. This Mincinno's one-track battling mind is getting him places, but Grubbin is a tricky, intelligent little bugger. Can he think of a solution to his smacking problem before it's too late?

Ah, alright. Well, put it in the actual Pokemon's biographies next time so that other referees don't mess up like I did.
I'll be sure to get the genders right from now on.

Let's deal with this the dirty way.

Mud-Slap - Mud-Slap - Mud-Slap

If Dig is used, use Harden instead.
If your HP is at 24 or below when you are to act and Encore is not to be used my Minccino this round, use Endure instead.

Ashtonishingly, Mincinno changes up his tactics, opting to go for a more solid full-body tackle as opposed to the high-rollin' slaps. He charges into Grubbin, and is greeted by a splatter of mud onto his face, blinding his vision. Grubbin takes advantage of his opponent's stumbling around to tighten his body and focus his energy, and takes the second tackle. Mincinno quickly goes in for a third tackle, but is shocked by the rigidity of Grubbin's carapace as he takes the blow. Grubbin kicks up more mud into Mincinno's eyes, praying for the floofy rodent to make a mistake when relying on his blinded vision. It seems to be the only thing keeping Grubbin alive at this point: pure hope.
But we've all seen greater victories built on little more than hope. Perhaps Grubbin will get lucky and cripple his opponent for his next teammate to clean up.

Mincinno starts off fast once more, attemptingbto dive towards Grubbin and quickly dart away! But what's this! Mincinno missed Grubbin, and lands face-first right in front of the maggot! He sees the opportunity to unload an electric shock into Mincinno's very muscles, paralyzing the poor creature. Now, Grubbin's the fast one! He lands his pincers onto Mincinno's head before he can move, but Mincinno overcomes both the mud in his eyes and the disobedience of his own muscles to dive once more at the weakened Grubbin, darting away so swiftly that the mud peels off his face from the sheer force. As Grubbin settles onto the floor and is recalled by a very familiar flash, Mincinno stands. Panting and wincing from the spasms in his muscles, he stands to face his next opponent. Fearlessly.

Mincinno's Paralysis decays to 5%.

As Mincinno stares down his new opponent, he wills his body to jump into Cubone tail-first... He can imagine the move in his mind... And he jumps! Or he doesn't. His muscles paralyzed, Mincinno stands, mentally screaming at his deaf body as Cubone sticks his bone club into the ground, radiating seismic waves that make the ground itself beat at Mincinno. Frustrated, Mincinno curses his crippled body, and braces himself against further assault. Cubone pulls the bone from the ground and throws it at his braced opponent, smacking him once on the way there, and once on the way back. Mincinno growls, and once more attempts to leap at Cubone, tail-first. He succeeds this time, slamming his aquatic tail into the Cubone's torso. Cubone throws off the Mincinno, and jams his bone back into the earth, seismically assaulting the Mincinno. As the dust clears, Cubone turns around, shouldering his club confidently. Mincinno grunts, rising on one knee, shocking the confident Cubone and breaking his demeanor. He lowers his head and weapon, and both shift into a final stance for combat.

Preparing for one final assault, Cubone tucks his head in, and braces his body for impact. And impact Mincinno does. He lets loose all of his frustration at being unable to take down 2 foes, but blacks out knowing that he definitely weakened this one before the Cubone flings him off with a powerful headbutt. Braced, Cubone seeks what he hopes is his next victim.

Reviloja753 meant that because of the way the substitution was worded, Grubbin should have used endure both a2 and a3. the sub didn't specify only to use it once. Only "If your HP is at 24 or below when you are to act".

remember to be thorough with your subs y'all
