Chesnaught @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature (+Def, -SpA)
- Spikes
- Synthesis
- Hammer Arm
- Seed Bomb

Since Defog now clean all the fields from Hentry hazards, Spikes aren't the best bet anymore.(remove that line break)Chesnaught is different from Ferrothorn and Roserade. He It has Fighting STAB, Ground resistance, Dark resistance and Fighting neutrality, so he can switch in for example against Choice Band Tyranitar or Excadrill, Shell Smash Barbaracle, Pangoro and Tytantrum, all Pokèemon that Ferrothorn can't deal with. Unlike Ferrothorn and Roserade, he it can beat Tyranitar and Excadrill, and has a solid Fighting STAB. Hammer Arm is the main stab STAB move that provides more power possible, Synthesis is the main recovery move and Seed Bomb helps Chesnaught against Water- and Ground-Ttype Pokèemon.

BThe best way to use this set is to eliminate Defog users such as Crobat, that which can OHKO him Chesnaught with hits STAB Brave Bird. Rotom-W can switch in against Crobat and Talonflame, forcing them to switch out, so he it can use Volt Switch in order to gain momentum since he it's slower. Also, Zapdos can screw over Crobat with its Electric STAB. Magic Bouncer such as Xatu or Absol are scared by Zapdos(space/(space)Rotom, Mega Lucario,(AC) and Mega Gengar. Also, Chesnaught can check and scare a couple of physical attackers such as Excadrill, Tyranitar, Tyrantrum, Pangoro, and Barbaracle, and set up Spikes. Chesnaught also give serve as an answer to late-(AH)game sweepers such as Lucario thanks to Synthesis, that which increases its longevity in combination with its great physical Defense. Another partner for Chesnaught is Magnezone, that which counters Crobat, traps and KOes Scizor, Skarmory and Forretress, Pokemon that are problematic for Chesnaught. Also, a spinblocker like Mega Gengar,(RC) its a fantastic partner of Chesnaught in order to take the H keep entry hazards up against Starmie and Tentacruel, because he as it can trap and KO both of these spinners.

[Checks and Counters]

Crobat is the BEST best counter. Access to Defog just screws this thing easy, and a x4 super effective STAB attack will put him Chesnaught out of commission with ease. He It can't do much to it Crobat in return.

Flying-type Pokèemon such as Talonflame, Hawlucha, Skarmory or and Xatu are the bane for Chesnaught's bane. The first with former has Gale Wings have priority to Flying-type moves, so he it can OHKO Chesnaught putting an end to hits chances to set up Spikes or boost with Bulk Up / Swords Dance. Skarmory walls Chesnaught's attack, and provide can proceed to OHKO him it with Brave Bird, Hawlucha can OHKO him Chesnaught with Acrobatics, Xatu counters all the Ddefensive set with Magic Bounce, so Chesnaught have to switch before taking Psychic. Grass(space)/(space)Poison-(RH_type Pokèemon can freely switch in to take Seed Bomb/ or Brick Break,(AC) forcing his it to switch.

Chandelure can easily tease him Chesnaught. I Even if Chesnaught it is under the behind a Substitute, with his Chandelure's ability,(AC) Infiltrator, he it can attack him Chesnaught through it the Substitute and OHKO with Flamethrower.

Trevenant and Gourgeist are solid counters tof Chesnaught. Due to their Ghost / Grass-(RH)typinge, they'(RA) are immune to its Fighting-type STAB and resist to its Grass-type attacks.

Aegislash can switch in easily and setup up(space)on Chesnaught with Swords Dance, forcing a it to switch out.

Toxicroak can seriously damage him Chesnaught with a Swords Dance-(AH)boosted Poison Jab.(AP)

Dragonite and Salamence can easily switch in and set(Space)up on Chesnaught and kill him it with Fire Punch / ,Fire Blast or Outrage.(AP)

Due to hi Chesnaught's lack in s of Speed and Special Defense, He it can be easily killed by faster and powerful Pokèemon, and he must rely on hazard support or Pokèemon support in order to get kills KOs or setup opportunities moments.

Great physical bulk allows it to counter an array of physical attackers, with Excadrill being the most important.

Decent Attack stat Its Attack stat is decent.
(you can make whatever change here you want as long as this is a complete sentence)

Ability that makes him Its ability makes it immune to bomb-based and ball-based attacks, such as Shadow Ball and Aura Sphere.
(same for the rest of these that I'm turning into complete sentences)

Access It has access to Spikes.

Reliable It has a reliable recovery move.

[Cons]

Low Its Special Defense is low.

Low Its Speed stat is low.

Serious It has a serious weaknesses to Flying- and Fire-type attacks.

Poor It has a poor movepool.

Its recovery gets weakened against sand teams.

[Set Recommendations]

Chesnaught @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature (+Def, -SpA)
- Spikes
- Synthesis
- Hammer Arm
- Seed Bomb

Since Because Defog now clean all the fields from entry hazards, Spikes aren't the best bet anymore but they still are somewhat useful. Chesnaught is different from Ferrothorn and Roserade. It has Fighting STAB, Ground resistance, Dark resistance (add comma) and Fighting neutrality, so he it can switch in for example against Choice Band Tyranitar or and Excadrill, Shell Smash Barbaracle, Pangoro (add comma) and Tytantrum Tyrantrum, all Pokemon that Ferrothorn and Roserade (the next sentence (which I removed) is very redundant, but if there's a better way to work them together, feel free to do so) can't deal with. Unlike Ferrothorn and Roserade, it can beat Tyranitar and Excadrill, and has a solid Fighting STAB. Hammer Arm is the main STAB move that provides more power possible solid power, Synthesis is the main recovery move supplies recovery, and Seed Bomb helps Chesnaught against Water- and Ground-type Pokemon.

The best way to use this set is to eliminate Defog users such as Crobat, which can OHKO Chenaught Chesnaught with its STAB Brave Bird. Rotom-W can switch in against Crobat and Talonflame, forcing them to switch out, so it can use Volt Switch in order to gain momentum since as it's slower. Also, Zapdos can screw over Crobat with its Electric STAB. Magic Bouncer Bounce users such as Xatu or and Mega Absol are scared by Zapdos / Rotom, Mega Lucario, and Mega Gengar. Also, Chesnaught can check and scare a couple of physical attackers (add comma) such as Excadrill, Tyranitar, Tyrantrum, Pangoro, and Barbaracle, and set up Spikes. Chesnaught also serve as an answer to late-game sweepers such as Lucario thanks to Synthesis, which increases its longevity in combination with its great Defense. Another good partner for Chesnaught is Magnezone, which counters Crobat, (remove comma) and traps and KOes Scizor, Skarmory and Forretress, Pokemon that are problematic for Chesnaught. Also, a spinblocker like Mega Gengar is a fantastic partner of for Chesnaught in order to keep entry hazards up against Starmie and Tentacruel, as it can trap and KO both of these spinners.

[Checks and Counters]

Crobat is the best counter. Access to Defog just screws this thing easy, and a x4 4x super effective STAB attack will put Chesnaught out of commission with ease. It can't do much to Crobat in return either.

Flying-type Pokemon such as Talonflame, Hawlucha, Skarmory (add comma) and Xatu are Chesnaught's bane. The former first has Gale Wings have granting priority to its Flying-type moves, so it can OHKO Chesnaught (add comma) putting an end to its chances to set up Spikes or boost with Bulk Up / Swords Dance (I'm not seeing how Gale Wings is relevant here; Chesnaught isn't using priority, and Talonflame is way faster than it naturally anyway; unless I'm missing something, rework this sentence so it doesn't say Talonflame can OHKO because of Gale Wings). Skarmory walls Chesnaught, (remove comma) and can proceed to OHKO it with Brave Bird, Hawlucha can OHKO Chesnaught with Acrobatics, Xatu counters the defensive set reflects Chesnaught's Spikes with Magic Bounce, so Chesnaught have to switch before taking and forces it to switch out to avoid taking a Psychic.

(this is separate from Flying-types) Grass / Poison type Pokemon can freely switch in to take Seed Bomb or Brick Break and Hammer Arm, forcing it Chesnaught to switch.

Chandelure can easily tease Chesnaught. Even if it is behind a Substitute, with Chandelure's ability, Infiltrator, it can attack Chesnaught through the Substitute and OHKO with Flamethrower.
(why is hitting through Substitute relevant when there is no mention of Substitute in the set recommendations? Also, some mention should probably be made of how Chandelure is also immune or resistant to Chesnaught's STABs like Trevenant and Gourgeist are)

Trevenant and Gourgeist are solid counters to Chesnaught. Due to their Ghost / Grass typing, they are immune to its Fighting-type STAB and resist its Grass-type attacks.

Aegislash can switch in easily and set up on Chesnaught with Swords Dance, forcing it to switch out.

Toxicroak can seriously damage Chesnaught with a Swords Dance-boosted Poison Jab.

Dragonite and Salamence can easily switch in and set up on Chesnaught and kill it with Fire Punch, Fire Blast (add comma) or Outrage.

Due to Chesnaught's lack of Speed and Special Defense, it can be easily killed by faster and many powerful faster Pokemon, (remove comma) and must rely on hazard or Pokemon support from its teammates in order to get KOs or setup opportunities.

GP: 1/1

Edit:
Actually, merge all of Checks and Counters into one paragraph. You don't need a ton of one sentence paragraphs here.

With 88 SDef evs and a Careful nature on top of Earthquake, Chesnaught can check Mega Gengar, being immune to its main STAB attacks, only being 3HKOed by focus blast, and 2HKOing with EQ after SR. I say check, because if Gengar is running HP Fire, it has a high chance of 2hkoing with no hazards down. This all factors Chesnaught's leftovers.

Chesnaught with Bulletproof is immune to Focus Blast.

I have a set suggestion Max Hp Max attack Adamant nature lefties with the moves of seed bomb, Hammer arm, earthquake/shadow claw/rock slide, and bulk up. Using this set I managed to ohko a mega gyardos at 100% with only plus 1.

I've found his best set to be:
Impish@leftovers
252 HP and DEF, 4 ATK
1)Leech Seed
2)Sub
3)Spiky Shield
4)Hammer Arm/Low Sweep

I feel this is the best set for this generation, as spikes is redundant with all the defog users running around. He can easily switch into most physical attackers not named Blaziken, Talonflame, or any other fire or flying type. A great pair with him is Sp.Def Rotom-Wash as they cover each others weaknesses.

Something that i completely forgot; ¬Itachi please slash Leech Seed before Seed Bomb. One of Chesnaught's best uses atm is fucking up sand teams with Hippowdon / Tyranitar and Excadrill, easily switching into all three of them and even countering the incredibly dangerous Dragon Dance Mega Tyranitar. This means that sand will often be up when Chesnaught is playing against the Pokemon that it is most useful against, making Synthesis often not enough. Leech Seed allows you to outstall physically defensive Hippowdon one on one, which could otherwise alternate between Earthquake and Slack Off to slowly stall you out of Moonlight PPs. Seed Bomb is slashed second because most of the Pokemon that Chesnaught deals with are taken care of by Hammer Arm (Tyranitar, Excadrill, Tyrantrum, and Pangoro). Even the two physical Water-types that Chesnaught walls are taken care of by Hammer Arm (Kabutops and Barbaracle). Other physically based Water-types such as Gyarados and Azumarill can fuck Chesnaught up with Bounce and Rough Play respectively, so Chesanught shouldn't really deal with them anyway. Also, Leech Seed gives Chesnaught something to do against Aegislash, an otherwise perfect switch-in that could come in for free and start boosting.

Actually, fuck it, remove Seed Bomb entirely and make the last slot like this:

Leech Seed / Stone Edge

Stone Edge deals with Fire- and Flying-types that like to switch into Chesnaught, such as Talonflame, Volcarona, Charizard, Togekiss, and Dragonite.

Seed Bomb can be mentioned in AC or slashed after those two for teams that appreciate as many checks to Azumarill as possible, but that's it.

¬Itachi mention in the set comments that Chesnaught is a perfect counter to King's Shield +3 attacks and mixed Aegislash, aka its most dangerous sets. Also, relegate Seed Bomb to AC and replace it with Roar instead, which lets Chesnaught deal with boosting Aegislash too, as well as with any dangerous set up sweeper.

I just wanted to add a tidbit from playing a lot with this guy. The set mentioned aaafter above changes is def his best. He is such a hard counter to aegis and trevenant with spikes and roar. Also is immune to gengars common attacks. I'd say the move that could be slashed is his attacking move. Depending on his team EQ or SC can be better esp since hes gonna be in on ghost alot. Synthesis from my experience is often the best option but it may be slashworthy as well for a double att set.

Reword as this is technically incorrect if you run Stone Edge over Leach Seed, as you are unable to fucking touch it. If SS / Rain is up then you lose, and heck, I consider Swords Dance one of Aegislash's most dangerous sets and, you guessed it, you lose to that as well. Kings Shield +3 Attacks is much less threatening since you lack the power to wallbreak (as proven here!), as well as lacking the "punch" of a boosting move. Its not weak, but I consider it a but of a stretch to call it the most dangerous set, when id consider boosting sets right up there, (which you lose to). Heavily reword the line or flat out remove as its pretty misleading otherwise.

With Roar you don't lose to any Aegislash set other than Autotomize, so i would slash it first.

No bulky attacker set? :c
The QC team decided to remove any boosting set, so keep only the defensive Spikes set. This thing's best use right now is to check a couple of physical attackers (Excadrill, Tyranitar, Tyrantrum, Pangoro, and Barbaracle) and set up Spikes.
QC are pretty much the guys that really know their stuff and what's good and what's meh. I can personally see some boosting sets/offensive sets working well in the lower tiers, though!

Yeah would be nice to see some lower tier sets, but doesn't look like we will any time soon :(
