BW2 OU TEAMBUILDING COMPENDIUM (v 3.0)
The idea of this thread is to provide a visual list of what Pokémon does what in the BW2 OU metagame.

Rules

• One liners are fine, avoid double posting
• Don't shitpost and don't be an idiot.
• When suggesting things to be added/removed, provide decent reasoning as to why something should be added or removed.
• Don't nominate unviable mons
• For burn and paralysis, Pokemon that don't use the moves Will-O-Wisp or Thunder Wave / Stun Spore are listed for spreading those statuses. For burn, this is because they either use Scald (Water-types not Rotom-W), or they're known to run Flame Orb (Latios, Latias, Reuniclus). For paralysis, this is because they can spread Thunder paralysis (Reuniclus, Thundurus-T, Jirachi) or Body Slam paralysis (Jirachi).
• In front of slash = standard and common, behind = niche and uncommon (usually applies to the specific role but a mon can be niche as a whole)

Lum Latios is a known commodity that allows it to be more comfortable taking Thunders from Thundurus-T, Scald/Will-o-Wisp from bulky Waters, and Toxic in general. It should be included here, even if it's only as a niche option.

fixed this!, just trying to sort everything out so my fault if it looks a bit messy

could be a nice mention but i feel like the only mon that run it is zong and thats basically only seen on hippo clef teams so idk, maybe that could be a decent shout tho

gyrados and cloy can be Liechi Berry user，with nature gift against wash rotom and jellicent and so on

i mean i could do gyara but idk about cloy, but even then i think nat gift gyara is rather niche because you give up coverage on dd 3 attack sets(stone edge for dnite/kyub f.e) as well as giving up your item slot for it

did all of these except for clef and kadabra, forgive me if im wrong but clef cant really fit encore into its moveset(wants all of twave, knock, soft-boiled, and stoss/beam for example) and kadabra isnt seen much like at all(at least in current bw) while rotom is seen occasionally on certain sand teams that forgo jellicent and has a decent niche, tho if im mistaken however then ill can prolly put these 2 in those categories as well!
