My apologies, but I would like to drop the Slowking analysis. I'm not as familiar with a couple of its sets, and considering how popular Slowking I think it would be better if someone with more experience with all of its sets should be the one to complete the analysis.

Emboar is great, hitting extremely hard with Reckless and getting really nice coverage. But its speed really holds it back, even with priority in Sucker Punch. While Choice Scarf mends this, being locked into one move allows it to be beat by switching into something that can take that move...

I wasn't trying to indicate Minefoo was broken, simply that it has the ability to beat/outplay counters. Clearly you can't beat everything, but you do have the ability to choose what mons beat/counter you.

Mienfoo may not out the gate be able to beat it's counters, but with coverage it can seriously dent a lot of them. I find the majority of Mienfoo's switch-ins don't actually really beat it, just force it out with fear of a burn/para. You can smack Ponyta or Larvesta with Stone Edge, hit ghosts...
